This feels like a large pet store with many varieties of products for various pets. Interior feels a bit outdated, not modern, and felt like interior was dim. Maybe the shelves are tall, maybe it's darker because of that. I wanted to buy dog treat but it's scattered in different aisles. I saw some at the front of the store, in the middle of the aisle, and down the aisles. I like how the aisles tell you which pet the products are for (i.e. dog, cat, etc). But would like similar products together. Petsmart also has a pet hospital inside which is super nice.

They get him on the table and not long into the trimming he starts crying and trying to pull away. There was no time taken to get him calmed down, they just powered through it. He slipped the lead they had on him and bit at the instrument and they muzzled him. I get it but there was no time taken for him to relax and calm down. Agustin's shop is clean, whimsically decorated with a really cool fish and turtle pond in front and the reptiles and birds are very well taken care of. Agustin helped me out a couple of years ago when I had to move my Mom out of her home and into an Assisted Living Facility and had to re-home her two large birds. Agustin found a buyer for her Moluccan Cockatoo at a fair price and a home for her other bird. I continue to frequent Agustin's for a feeder rat for my daughter's snake. I have noticed prices have gone up considerably over the years but what hasn't. I do appreciate their frequent feeder mouse/rat card and that they use double paper bags for the critters because they do like to chew free. They always have a great display of reptiles and birds I like to walk through, too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your reptile and bird needs.

The only reason this place caught my eye is because of their display of earth friendly toys. I took a look at all of them trying to figure out which one I thought my pup would like best. I also didn't expect to purchase any given most toys made at this caliber would be pricey. To my surprise, the one I picked out was under $10. I had to do a double take because I'm due for new prescription glasses, but there it really was. Under $10! Walked out happy with the purchase and looked forward to giving it to the pup. He loved it. I loved that he loved it and I loved that we helped mother earth - even if it was just 6 plastic bottles' worth! I had to rush the visit because I was notified my table for grub was ready. It was worth the wander into this quieter wing of the Del Amo mall. The employee couldn't give a smaller rat's ass about the customer service though. She stared at me as she approached her cashier area, and I was the one who greeted her. I guess old retail habits die hard! Not a bad detour but definitely check out next door for Game Chest.
