Food was delicious & a great deal with all you can eat! We were soo stuffed we didn't even order more meats! The potatoes were cold but soo good. Make sure to ask for lettuce wraps!! Great place for dinner or a little date night spot.

This place has halal Korean BBQ and it is *amazing*. As someone who doesn't always love beef, they have really great meat with lots of different Korean preparation/spice variants that are super flavorful and tasty. Great appetizer options (kimchi, rice, chili garlic cucumbers, etc), good mocktails, and you even get complementary ice cream at the end! The Halal Korean BBQ is all you can eat for 90 minutes, which is a great amount of time. The chicken is also very good. Overall great experience and really enjoyed the halal Bbq.

I've walked by this place several times and was curious, so I finally decided to stop in for dinner. I'm SO glad I did! My companion and I arrived early for our dinner reservation and decided to have drinks at the bar. That was the best decision I've made in a while because sitting beside me at the bar was none other than the General Manager, Edin Alvarez. I only learned that after I had spoken to him for a while and told him how much I was enjoying my Lychee Martini. He informed me that the recipe was his own and gave me many other insights into the food and menu. First, the staff was a fun and friendly group. They all clearly enjoyed their jobs, working together, and making the customer happy. A shout-out to Lydia, Eddie, CJ, and Francisco! They'll be seeing me again soon. We opted for the AYCE (all-you-can-eat) option A. It contained beef, which my dining companion doesn't normally eat, but we found dishes we enjoyed between the different proteins offered. I have to insert a warning here - AYCE is REALLY AYCE and our server, Lydia, made sure she kept the food coming. She did her job TOO well because we had to ask her to stop bringing us more food because we were making gluttons of ourselves. She agreed to stop bringing out more food only on the condition that I try the beef brisket, which was the only thing I hadn't tried. I tried to say no, but she insisted, and I'll never question her recommendations again. It was delicious! It was so good that my non-beef-eating companion asked for a taste; even he had to admit it was amazing. This was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I've ever had, and I will definitely make it one of my regular dining choices. Do yourself a favor and stop by, have a drink at the bar (I highly recommend the lychee martini), and then enjoy the experience at the table.

My first time trying Gogi Yogi and it was really good! We went with Option B all you can eat and pretty much tried everything. The bulgogi and pork were my faves. I also tried the sweet soju flight: strawberry, plum, peach. They were all good along with the green apple and lychee. I would definitely come back! Service was amazing by Lydia, who was our waitress. She was very welcoming.

let me start by saying the service was great and they were super attentive and kind! However, the food was certainly less good, especially after going out to Virginia for Korean barbecue the week before. Meat was just underwhelming and they didn't have a lot of marinated options for the baseline price meal. Bonchon was also not the best and they didn't have things like steamed egg (at least from when I saw). One think i'll note is they have a halal menu which could be good for some folks! If i was coming to get drunk, get loud, and have KBBQ on the side, i have no doubt this would've been better haha. Unfortunately I guess I'll still have to be going out to Maryland though to get the best stuff.

Great option for AYCE halal Korean bbq - good amount of food for a party of 3-4. The meats were good some better than other. I wish they would've also given more rice when restocking our sides. Service was super friendly and fast. The location is a bit sketchy, would recommend going during the daytime. Parking is also a hit or miss. Overall good place to go if visiting DC or looking for halal options

Came here for restaurant week! I love Korean bbq and it's nice to have an option IN the city! I'd definitely recommend reservations, as it's ALWAYS busy when I pass by! Its a small/medium sized space, but let's be realistic here; it's DC, so you have to get in where you fit in! It didn't feel too cramped, it was just very busy. We got the Dinner #2 AYCE option B and a Soju flight pairing. The food and drinks were delish and it was a great time with friends! Our waiter was also on point! Very prompt and visible! I would definitely recommend... and we'll be back!

my friends and i had such a great experience here!! the service was incredible and so attentive. there's only so much you can do to improve korean bbq, but the service definitely made our food taste so much better. i highly recommend this spot!

Called in for a reservation, but when I showed up, my name was not on the list. The female host was nice enough to find us a table. Meanwhile, the server Timothy was horrible. He left us there to watch this burnt grill the entire time until he decided to bring us our next piece of meat. By then, our time was running out to even enjoy a good meal. Do not recommend it!

Went with the AYCE option B which had pork bulgogi, steak, shrimp and more. It also comes with a few sides.
    Cynthia N.

The food was ok, I've gone to a lot of Korean bbqs and this spot was a bit underwhelming. Most of the meats did not have any flavor as I would expect. The saving grace were the bulgogi and pork meats that came with the option we went with. The steak was flavorless and needed some kind of seasoning. Some of the meats came pre marinated and the chicken that was part of the option we chose was already cooked. The flavors were just lacking and we didn't get any more of that and barely finished the only plate of chicken we did get. The service was ok our waiter was really pleasant and got to us but it felt like she was handling a few other tables. The service was a bit slower than I would like and we had to ask for the meats to be brought out continuously. It felt like a chore getting our waiter to bring anything to us. We found ourselves waiting for a bit before we would get our next round of meats which left me eating the rice and other sides. I just didn't feel I enjoyed the AYCE component of this place which was for an amount of 90 minutes. The space was also pretty small and a bit cramped. It didn't seem appropriate for a k bbq spot. I personally wouldn't come back here as I've had a lot better service and food at other Korean bbqs I've been to.

The wings were seasoned just right and honestly didn't need sauce. If you want one though, go with the cilantro ranch. The BBQ sauce wasn't sweet or smoky, I'm still trying to figure out what the flavor was. Also, I got 9 drums and 3 flats, which was a little off, I'd prefer a 6/6 split. Online you cannot do all flats or all drums The spicy greens are meat-free and I even called both to make sure. had good flavor, but they were more sweet and spicy to me not just spicy. Service / Timing: The cashier wasn't very welcoming. No hello, no thank you, nothing. That definitely stood out for these prices. Value: Pretty pricey for what I got. My total was $27.55 for 12 wings and greens. HIGH Highlight: WINGS. Wrap-Up: Despite the service and the price, the food was good. I will be back for the wings!

The brisket was pretty good. Not the best I ever had. However, it had great texture and was thick cut. Dipped in their bbq sauce- it was even better. The grilled wings were great. Fat juicy drums! *I gave my aunt the flats, and she enjoyed them too. The brussels and esquites were great. Im not a big parmesan guy, but on the brussels it surprised me. The cornbread had a great texture as it was moist and held up nice; it wasn't dry and crumbly. I prefer my cornbread sweet though. Id pass on it next time. Upon request, the pickles were great, but the pickled onions not so much. They were more bitter and "onion'y" if you know what I mean (it tastes like they used white onions, the ones that go on hotdogs). Im used to them being a little sweet when I get them from bbq places and even Mediterranean spots. And lastly, I didn't like the blue cheese too much it was more bitter (im used to sweeter blue cheese similar to Ken's). Another thing I'd pass on in the future. Overall, the main courses and sides were good. I recommend and would go back again to get the same things and even try the white meat chicken.
