OG Thai Salted Creama with brown sugar crystal boba
    Daisy C.

Went to Goatea for the first time. Their salted thai green tea creama is really good! Definitely recommend if you stop by. Theres also plenty of parking. They had excellent service and were very specific in explaining what went well with the drinks. My family also got a winter-melon tea which was pretty good too!! It was nice and quiet in the afternoons and would come back to try different drinks. :)))

Ordered via DoorDash . Every time I shop at Lowe's and I'm in the area I've always wanted to try this place. This time I saw on DoorDash. Delivery was fast. The chicken egg rolls were still piping hot and fresh my husband loved it. The bang mi was fresh and tasty. Only problem was the beef was not easy to chew. Next time I'll try the pork bahn mi. I normally order milk tea from other tea places, but decided to try the mango frappe with Maho jelly. Pretty good! I'll have to try the milk tea with boba next time to see if they match my fave other tea places. So although not near my home, I'd order from this place again.

This is a cute spot. Shame is it's tucked away by a Lowe's and surrounded by construction atm. Inside is quiet and clean (I hope it's not always quiet and they get busy sometimes!); nice decor and friendly staff. Both of our drinks were delicious and put together prettily. I got the mango/peach smoothie and my spouse got passionfruit tea. We haven't tried much yet which is the only reason waiting on that 5th star. They looked to have a food menu but a part of it was labelled "coming soon" so not sure how much food they have currently. We'd go back.

We frequent this place. They offer a variety of milk teas, smoothies and some snacks. I'm not sure they still offer the sandwiches. I usually drink only certain kinds milk teas and rarely venture trying new flavors. I'm just afraid taking the risk, not liking it and it go to waste. The fried spring rolls, fresh spring rolls and mozzarella sticks are good. The fresh spring rolls are pretty huge and worth the price. It's the largest rolls I've seen thus far. I'd like to try other flavors of milk teas and smoothies in the future.

I find myself returning to this place and ordering the avocado with mango drink. I was great because I recently realize I should not be drinking anything from a cow and they offer options for avocado and or soy milk substitutes. Pricing is reasonable and grab one twice a week and I must say I am addicted.

Lemongrass Grilled Beef with Rice and an OG Thai Tea.
    Sam L.

Yet again, another perfect meal in this clean, friendly staffed, awesome eatery. I now believe these people are incapable of making a bad meal. Perfect rice! The OG thai tea is creamy, cool looking deliciousness. The little sauce I got with my meal, I think is some sort of fish sauce, spicy, tangy, excellent for dipping every succulent morsel of expertly cooked beef. The price of everything is reasonable for the area, but cheap considering the portion size and quality. Freshly sliced, thin veggies accompanied my meal today and they were lightly seasoned with rice wine and nice and crunchy.

Grilled pork on rice with a mango fruit tea.

We had a GREAT experience here. We tried the grilled pork on rice, five spice chicken on rice and a tofu bahn mi plus two mango fruit teas. Everything was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and we will totally come back here!

Banh mi and Matcha Milk Tea with boba
    Madison A.

Goatea has been my go to boba shop for a few years now! The staff is very friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. I love the royal milk tea and the creama. I love all of the food too! The banh mi always has very fresh bread, meat and vegetables. The popcorn chicken is hot and fresh when I pick it up :)

Royal Milk Tea w/ honey boba and egg pudding
    Lani S.

This is based on my first and only visit. I saw this place when we stopped at Lowe's. As for any boba tea place I first try, I go with the standard or house milk tea. I got the Royal Milk Tea (standard black tea) with honey boba, egg pudding, and 75% Sweetness (which stated regular sweetness). It was too sweet for me, but they were kind enough to adjust it. The tea is good, staff is friendly... the place is clean. While I visit the Seattle area often, I'm not in this particular area as often as I used to be. However, I would come back if I am.

When I walk in here, I feel like I'm inside a warehouse or large parking garage, solely because of the large door near the entrance to this place. Inside, it's blasting K-pop music, and has some tables to sit at. There's also some arcade machines and a photo booth. You order your drinks up at the counter using their kiosks, and they have a bunch of uniquely named drinks like their other location in Cap Hill, with some that are simply just strawberry matcha and mango matcha drinks, though this does keep in line with what a ton of people are crazily lining up for in this day and age (including myself). Since I simply got my drink and sat with my friend, I don't have anything to mention about service here. I got their No. 5 Elixir, which is a mixture of charcoal mango lemonade and a lot of mango bits. First and foremost, I'm happy that it didn't stain my teeth as I drank it, haha. But more importantly, it's sweet and tangy and was very refreshing even though weather was somewhat gloomy when I went. This is a very chill place to hang out at, and I can see myself coming here for a quick designer drink/blend. As of this writing, I still haven't tried all their stuff yet!

I asked for some recommendations for milk tea, and the girl who works there gave me some recommendations. +Spacious and comfortable space - I visited on a weekday and I was the only customer. I can see it being busy with people chatting and playing boardgames on the weekend. What needs improvement: Boba! I almost lowered by rating because the boba did not have a good texture. This time I tried Hojicha Milk Tea, which had a powdery texture and was alright. But I've had other drinks like Post Melona and enjoyed it better. I would definitely go for a fruity tea or blended drink

Recently I tried a holiday drink Crema Thai Tea Cookie Latte with brown sugar - it's 4 out of 5 stars for me. The cookie butter is stronger than the Thai tea taste, an interesting combo. And as always, brown sugar boba is the best. However, the drink itself cost $10.95, and with the addition of brown.sugar boba, I ended up paying $12. So MissBoba is definitely an occasional treat for my wallet. Service is always great, they always ask for sweetness level adjustment and tell you to mix the drinks well. Inside isn't too big, and gets quite crowded when it's busy, especially when the line is out the door. Also, love that they host pop-ups of donuts and other baked goods throughout the year. There's many tables in the back here, and it feels very casual and perfect for some nightly hangouts with friends or, in this case, a card game afternoon with a friend. I got their Oreo milk tea with 50% sweetness and ice levels. Nothing too special here, just tons of crushed Oreo bits and your regular oolong tea base, perfect for keeping me full the rest of the day. 50% sweetness was enough; any more and the drink would have been too much. Maybe I've just been lucky? I've been a customer here for years, though, so take that into consideration as well. At times I've come in and there was only one or two workers but they're fast. The woman who's consistently working (perhaps the owner or manager) is always so nice to us. She gets our orders right. I saw complaints saying that the drinks were too sweet, however, I'm on the more sweet side for preference, so I thought I would like it. I got the brown sugar latte and it was somewhat good in the beginning, but the drink was definitely really sweet, and even too sweet for me. The boba felt old too because it was really soft. The second drink we tried was the matcha latte. This drink tasted like something we could make at home. The service was okay. The worker was nice but it seemed like they didn't want to be there. We were greeted with hospitality as well. The server was more like minding their business. Also, they served my drink with the brown sugar sauce partially on my cup, which made my hands sticky. I felt like my hands were sticky throughout the night, no matter how many times I cleaned it. The best quality of this boba shop is their ambiance. Very nicely decorated with good lighting. The environment was neat and gave a nice vibey feeling. This would be a chill place to hangout with your friends to get a drink. However, the quality of the drink and service isn't good enough to get me back here.
