5/5! This became my favorite Boba place since it opened up. I always get avocado with tapioca. So if you never tried it, it's mandatory. They use fresh avocado and I can't give them enough props because other places I've been to either don't do avocado or use powder avocado which is disgusting. Can't beat real read more

This is my all time favorite bahn mi place! You have to try their grill pork sandwich and shrimp spring rolls, it is sooooooo good! I don't really care for their customer service, but their sandwich is so good that I can overlook that and still give them a 5 star. But really though, you might want to consider being a little bit more friendly to your repeat customers. read more

The drinks were good but I believed could have been done in a quicker manner(in comparison to other places). And this is considering how there was no one in the shop when we walked in. Things seemed to speed up a little around 12 when more customers came in. As for my friend's grilled pork(not pictured), it did not meet my usual expectations of what grilled meat is supposed to look like. I love the Royal milk tea! My favorite boba tea in the area. Also the popcorn chicken is delish!

We love bubble tea but not impressed with Goatea. Tried it 3 different times. Though the location is great we drive past and go elsewhere. The honey boba has a weird texture, the tea is bitter. Smoothies are just ok. Never tried the food, and smells delicious, so maybe that's what keeps them in business. read more

This place is great! Tiny little shop tucked in the Lowe's parking lot with $5 bahn mi and delicious smoothies.

Most boba places, the bread that they make their sandwiches with is hard to chew.. but this Goatea in Kent was amazingly good! Not too hard, not too soft. I was very surprised!! In a good way!! I always get the taro milk tea. I was craving so much sugar I accidentally got 50% so I honestly, I barely tasted it... still yummy though!!! read more

Really nice environment. Very mellow and laidback workers. Nice sandwiches. :) They have really nice tofu spring rolls that are amazing. As well as their passionfruit Mojito drink. I went there early evening a few costumer were there and it was really spacious for all of us. :) read more

I wish they had locations in renton! Me and my friends have been going here for a year now to meet and hang. We usually stay for several hours and cycle through a few drinks. My favorite is mango smoothie with crunchy boba. Crunchy boba is unique to goatea and I love it. I dislike regular bobas texture so this is great for me. They recently added new drinks!!! The new drinks slap to be honest. My newest favorite is vanilla matcha, sooo good! The chicken vietnamese sandwich is the best one out of all of them and I also usually get cheese sticks. Its also conveniently located by the college so I can go to class after. I plan to head there today!! Really, One of my favorite places to get great drinks and eat. read more

YIKES. This place is a total let down. My boo and I went with hopes of having good drinks but this was just awful. We came in and a couple in front of us were ordering. They waited about 10-15 minutes just to pay because the machine was broken. If they waited that long, at least give them a free drink or something. It was my turn to order. My bae got a taro smoothie with crunchy boba and I got a passionfruit strawberry smoothie with egg pudding. WOW IT WAS BAD. My drink tasted like vegetables. It wasn't creamy and the flavors were just horrible together. It was like half creamy half watery. The taro was lacking flavor and the crunchy boba wasn't for me. Very weird hard jelly texture and tasted like artificial vanilla. OH and when we got the actual drinks, the taro smoothie had like red bits on the side of the cup inside?? It was leftover smoothie from the last drink they made. Uncleanly. Speaking of uncleanly, there were like 5 flies flying around in their. GROSS. They don't shut the door and there are a bunch of flies that are in there. I don't feel like bubble tea is appetizing when I see a bunch of flies around... I'm probably never come back. read more

Found this location thanks to Yelp! Place is under a grand opening so it was a bit hard to find using Google Maps but it's located in the small building in the Lowe's complex... The drinks are good (Taro, Lavender, Hazelnut Thai, and a peach slush) and the boba has a good texture and taste. They have a different menu option of "crunchy boba" which sounds weird but is akin to round, chew(ier) aloe jelly. We tried the pork belly Banh Mi sandwich which was flavorful but pretty skimpy on the meat and filling; I suggest doing the 'extra meat' option if you try it out. read more

Looks like this place just opened and we LOVE going to the location in Federal Way so when we saw that one was opening up a few minutes from home this was a must try! The bubble tea was great and service was alright. But that's where the 2 stars stop... They leave their door open and there's literally like 20 flies flying around inside... It was disgusting!! We almost walked out because of that. Can you imagine all those flies around the cooking area?! Also my sister ordered chicken tenders and asked for sauce and all they had was ketchup.... -_- seriously? The bubble tea was great but I don't recommend anything else until they get more sanitized. read more

Everytime I come here... they mess up my order. It used to be my favorite boba spot on pac highway. Not anymore. I ordered 3 drinks from them and they messed up 2 of them. I ordered an avocado/strawberry smoothie and they forgot to add avocado. My other drink that was a matcha salted cream, where my little brother asked for honey boba, and there was none. Hands down, the BEST pork banh mih in the area. When I really want a bang mih, I usually go down to Pho Tai near Southcenter mall. But, this place is even better! The bread is a good size and perfectly toasted. There's a good amount of meat and it just has this comfort food taste that is hard to find at other Vietnamese restaurants. I also ordered the chicken tenders and expected them to be skinny, but they were pretty thick and not too salty. This used to be my go to boba place but my last experience was horrible, I'm not coming back to this place ever again. I had a Thai tea blended drink that tasted like sour milk and it was also watery and melted. I had also ordered 3 other blended drinks for my family and they were all watery. Glad to find a boba shop, boba was fine, chewy, good honey flavor but nothing to write home about, loved that I could get a truly "no sweet" Thai tea but the tea had been over steeped and was a bit bitter for my taste, only real down side was the shop had a greasy smell. Was shopping at Lowes and saw the new store so decided to give it a try. Bubble tea in this area is non existent to horrible so was really excited for the potential convenience of this location. Super cute store, very nice employees. My bubble tea was delish. Only 4 stars because they had run out of boba, how does that even happen? But the employee recommended I try jelly which I had never had before and it was good. I think I'd still prefer boba but I would get jelly again to mix it up. Overall, cute store and friendly service and yummy tea. ...I'll be back. Note, in one of the other reviews they spoke about the food and I didn't try that I just had tea.
