I used to come to this place religiously. Molly used to work here and she was amazing. We walk in and they already looked annoyed that it's a customer. I had to check the time in case we came in too close to closing (they close in 2 and a half hours). No hello, no how's it going, nothing. Just immediate irritation. Definitely my last time coming. I love this place so much, they have good customer service and really good smoothies.

Smoothies have been consistent. They're usually on the thicker side and after a while, do separate out and leave a thick layer of leftovers at the bottom. It is really cold when it's freshly blended, so be careful if you're prone to brain freezes. I usually get one of the peanut butter shakes and service is usually pretty prompt and to the point. I don't think I've ever waited more than two minutes and parking is pretty in-and-out. There is a ~4% charge that is attached to orders for customers paying with a card. read more

Had to stop in here for a quick smoothie and I've never been here before. Was greeted by the blonde girl with glasses she really helped me out on picking what kind of smoothie I'd want. Stopped by for an after workout boost. Was not greeted, hard to tell where the line was. I approached, the girl looked at a guy who was afar. I thought he was waiting for a drink but he was not. Drink was ok, service was not that great. She did allot of talking was about it. She sounded like she was trying to impress a guy customer with her talk. I wasn't impressed. I like that they have the option to add in sea moss now. Normally go here when I'm in the mood for a smoothie and don't want to make one myself. It's quite expensive for a smoothie though. The smoothies are the best! Only in Seattle can you get good quality blended fruit smoothies. Unfortunately, it's so awkward when a business has an iPad prompt for a tip. The drinks can start at $7.00 so adding a tip on top of the beverage price is pushing the price point. As someone who believes tips are meant for service that goes beyond expectations, the iPad feels socially pressured when the person who just made the drink is facing you straight on. For this reason I have stopped drinking their smoothies. But if you can afford a tip +beverage then this would be your go-to place. read more

My favorite place to grab a smoothie on the way to work! It's not usually busy when I come which is either in the morning (10AM) or evening (4-5PM) but even if it is, the staff are still really quick. I only get the PB&J, The Emerald with PB, or The Energizer which I add PB to as well. The smoothies are always good and I've never had a bad experience here. They allow you to add in things to your smoothie such as whey protein, energizer, vitamin c, multivitamin, etc and you can substitute for almond milk instead as well I think. The place is actually pretty big since you're just standing and waiting for your drink but there is seating along the walls of the windows. Their walls are filled with protein bars, cookies, chips, and pre-workout stuff. I've tried a few of their cookies and they are really good. read more

Yummy meal replacement! When I know that running errands means missing breakfast or lunch, and I don't have the ingredients to make one at home, I make sure to stop in for a smoothie. The PB&J smoothie is my favorite! Peanut butter is one of my favorite flavors, so pretty much any smoothie with peanut butter sounds enticing. The "ultimate" is my go-to when I want peanut butter but the added oatmeal does make it a bit heavy. Be forewarned that a lot of the smoothies are VERY sweet. Also, the add-ons are often flavored which may change the flavor of your smoothie. For instance, both the multivitamin and immunity support additives have a berry flavor...which may clash if you're ordering something like a orange dream. read more

Had 30 minutes to kill, wasn't hungry for a meal but I wanted something in my belly. decided to stop by and grab a smoothie since it was close to work. Not a bad experience! The ladies working were extremely nice and patient. Very very helpful! Loved their service. The place also has a ton of work out stuff.. Like protein snacks and shake mixes! I recently got a membership at a gym so I've been thinking about getting some. I got the matcha smoothie and it wasn't a total knock out. I wish it had more matcha.. Maybe I'll ask for that next time. But other than that, you can definitely taste the healthy in it! I don't think they put a ton of sugar/sorbet like jamba does, so don't expect the typical jamba drinks here. I'm totally okay with that. It definitely caters to those who work out and take their protein or fat intake seriously. I had a weird first experience here. A woman walking around stopped me as soon as I got out of my car to ask for some money/food. Apparently she was nearby at a firm dealing with a divorce thing and her kids were hungry. I figured... She wouldn't ask for help if she didn't need help so I asked her to tag along and grab some cookies or smoothies for the kids and that I would pay. Left the place expecting to spend $5, instead I spent $23 haha. Left me thinkin about the location of this place. It's just so random! You'd think it'd be closer to a gym (I guess la fit is a couple blocks down but still). I would definitely come back again! read more

If you are going to have an 8 pm close perhaps you should have people on staff who don't make your customers feel like we are imposing because we show up five min before close. I like ECS! I think their smoothies are good, the location is good, the hours are good, and most of the employees are friendly and sweet! However, I do not like how they operate their point system for loyal customers. I really do not feel good or appreciated when every time I go I have to ask for them to enter my phone number, for their reward system. It seems uncommon that a loyal customer has to ask! But I do and I have adjusted to doing so. I always ask to have my smoothie without the included protein because I prefer it that way and today I asked to try out a little bit of a booster, I asked for not the full serving but just a bit. Then when I paid I was told I could use my free smoothie next time, even though I was at 16 points today. I had to ask if I could please use it today and then she obliged me! She also said I would be starting over and at zero next time. Which is weird because to me 16-15=1. Then she said "I still have to charge you for the booster if that's ok?!" I said "well can you take it out?" She said "no I already blended it". Then I asked if she could make a new one and she said "no I already blended it". I said I think it's silly to charge me for the booster today but ok! She went on to tell me the point system only applies to smoothies and not boosters, I told her I understood that, I just think it's silly. And I do think it's really silly to nickle and dime loyal customers who obviously come in a lot and spend much money at the store! Again it is 15 smoothies to earn a free one. Just my silly opinion here. Still like ECS, just wish this wasn't the case with the "rewards" system. read more

Emerald City Smoothie is a nice alternative to Jamba Juice. Located in a strip mall style complex in Kent the grounds seem to vary from somewhat clean to let's toss all our garbage everywhere! Yet, despite this pollution the Emerald City Smoothie remains well maintained inside, so don't let the parking lot deter you from entering. The girls inside have always been nice and cheerful. They promptly take orders, and if any mistakes are made they are quick to make it better. The decor inside is industrial and sparse. I don't necessarily feel like hanging out here, it's like a grab and dash. The prices are on par with Jamba Juice and the smoothies are delicious! read more

Never a bad smoothie here, and the ladies and gent are very nice! I come here regularly (at least twice a week). My drinks of choice are: Low Carb with Strawberry Low Carb with Peanut Butter Slim n Fit with Strawberry Slim n Fit with Peanut Butter I only get the Slim n Fit if I want the added banana carbs. :) They also have a great selection of protein shakes and bars to choose from! My favorite being the Isopure brand, and Quest Bar brands. :) Yummo! read more

I've been to a few locations, and the one in Puyallup was ok. It may have been the day we were there, and that employee but he really wasn't helpful. It was our first time to an Emerald City, and we were looking to get green drinks. Well they don't make any, but they can add kale or spinach at an additional cost. We asked questions, he gave us answers as if we were interrupting him. Since then I've been to the one in Renton, and the girls that were working were great. I have food allergies, they helped answer questions and made suggestions. read more

Th staff is super friendly and work fast. I've been in here when there is a big line and I still don't have to wait very long. There is lots of supplements product, but I'm not a huge fitness junkie so I don't know what is what. I just know that there is a lot of it. I've been to many Emerald City Smoothies locations over the years. this is my first time at this location, and I gotta say this is the best tasting smoothies compared to the others ECS! A lot of other location they put too much ice and its just to watery, you can tell they try to cut back on everything they use, like no matter what size smoothies you get they will put the same amount of fruits and milk whatever they use in a small then they would in the large size but just double the ice and every time its a waste! Thats probably why all the locations that does this are shut down. There is only a few locations now th at makes there smoothies good and dont half ass on what they put in the smoothies, this location and the Burien location! read more

This was the first time I've been to an Emerald City Smoothie. The staff was super friendly, but the wait was a tad long. There are a ton of options, but even though they are healthy alternatives, many are high in calories, so next time I would consider going here on an empty stomach. I had the Zone Zinger, it was pretty good, but a bit too sweet for my taste. Seating in-house is available, but not for larger groups. read more

Awesome place!!! I am very picky & I watch my carbs I take. The worker looked the into details to show me how many carbs were in each item.
