No nod, no "one sec," no fleeting moment of eye contact. Nothing to suggest they were aware that two humans with wallets had entered the building. So we left. Without coffee. Without spending a single dollar. Which, in a town where people will happily pay $8 for an oat milk latte and say thank you, is a pretty remarkable failure. I genuinely cannot review the coffee because I never got any. What I can tell you is that the vibe is very much "we exist, find us if you dare." On this particular day, I didn't dare long enough. Maybe the market is great. Maybe the coffee is transcendent. I'll never know, and honestly, neither will my credit card.

Wow, I've never been more excited about something in my entire life The lovely barista working when I went was so personable, fun, and doing a fantastic job considering how HOT it was in that bus! Inside the bus itself was super cute and cozy. I feel like I would love to sit in there and drink all day, but I ordered the Strawberry Pink Peppercorn latte with oat milk and was pleasantly surprised! It was sweet with a little hint of fruitiness and a little floral all wrapped in that creamy oat milk texture with espresso that really woke me up. It was refreshing and energizing on a day when it was like 98 million degrees. I would love to come back and try the other offerings the next time I'm in town. Five stars!

Definitely quicker and just as tasty as the very long lined bakery nearby at 10:30am on a Sunday. I was on the hunt for a classic French omelet when I came across Alessia Patisserie & Cafe, and…read morethis place far exceeded my expectations in every way! As soon as I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful display of desserts. They have a huge selection of croissants, cookies, tarts, cakes, mini cheesecakes, and so much more--and everything is just as wonderful to look at as it is to eat. Even though I originally came here for the French omelet, there was no way I was leaving without trying some of the pastries. So I ended up getting the salted chocolate chip cookie and the lemon & raspberry tart, and I absolutely loved both! The salted chocolate chip cookie was soft and chewy in the center with just a slight crunch around the edges. The salt sprinkled on top really enhanced the chocolate flavor and gave it that perfect sweet-and-salty balance. But the lemon & raspberry tart was what I would call a nearly perfect dessert. It had just the right amount of tartness from the lemon and raspberry, while the light, fluffy meringue on top balanced everything out beautifully. Now for the savory food! I was so sure I was going to order the French omelet, but for some reason, the Blue Crab Crepe was calling my name. So I decided to go with that along with the Veggie Quiche, and I have absolutely no regrets about either choice. The Blue Crab Crepe came with two crepes generously stuffed with fresh-tasting blue crab and topped with lemon hollandaise and chives. The Veggie Quiche does take a little longer to come out, but it is absolutely worth the wait. Mine came with sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan, and basil, and it was delicious. The breakfast entrées also come with your choice of house potatoes, fruit, or a side salad. One thing to note: you order everything at the counter first before finding yourself a seat, and there is also a self-serve water station. From the beautiful décor and relaxed café vibes to the sweet AND savory food, I loved everything about this place. I originally came in searching for a French omelet and somehow left without even ordering one--which I guess just gives me the perfect excuse to come back!

We arrived during a busy Saturday morning and were lucky to be seated right away. Our server Sidney was awesome. Arrived with a smile, patients made great recommendations, and very efficient. The food was some of the best I tasted! The pastries were amazing and sauces delectable. Everything was cooked to order and prepared with care. We were so happy with our food that we had to take some pastries to go. We will definitely be back to visit this charming place!

Can you tell? It took my friend two hands to hold it and she could barely open her mouth big enough. (But she managed!hee hee) Run, don't walk, to try this and split it with a friend. Ohhh, and the pistachio cookie was eaten too fast to grab a pic. Deliciously soft and crunchy, flavorful goodness, and generous size, also. Yummy!!!

I ordered the Britta Bagel, which comes with avocado, tomato, red onion, and a sprinkle of lemon pepper seasoning. The bagel itself was stale, and the entire meal was incredibly bland. I even added salt and still could only eat half of it. My husband ordered the breakfast wrap, essentially a breakfast burrito, and it had a really odd sweet taste that made it almost impossible to eat. He took two bites and couldn't bring himself to eat any more. The food alone was disappointing, but the service didn't help. We paid around $40 including tip, yet there weren't even napkins or proper table settings. We had to ask for napkins ourselves, and no one came by to check on us during our meal. For $40, I expect significantly better food and service. Unfortunately, this was one of those meals where you leave thinking, "Well, at least we know we won't be coming back." Definitely not worth it for us, and I won't be returning.
