Sandwich and ham toast
Kamryn A.

Was not expecting such a great breakfast sandwich here! The egg was fluffy and the biscuit was buttery and flaky. The ham toast was also great-- the mustard added the perfect amount of tang. This was a great little lunch to hold us over until dinner. I know they're known for coffee but maybe stop in for a sandwich!

Iced latte, blackberry toast

As a fan of the Little King in Buellton, I was very excited to stop by their new location in Montecito! I came around 10am on a Monday and there a nice amount of people here enjoying breakfast. Seeing the menu ahead of time, I knew I'd order an iced latte and the blackberry toast (which is exactly what I ordered). I took a seat at one of the tables inside while waiting for my order. My latte came out very quickly and my toast followed suit a few minutes later. The toast was sooooo delicious. I'm usually skeptical of trying sweet toasts at a cafe. However, this toast was sooo good! The labneh provided a slightly sour bite that balanced well with the blackberries. The toast itself had a crunchy exterior, soft interior, and a perfect buttery taste. My latte was perfect (as expected heh). Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to Little King Coffee in Montecito. Definitely looking forward to trying the avocado toast!!

I could make this place a daily visit if my budget allowed it! I absolutely love this new coffee place. The location is across the way from the bird refuge and the surrounding area is a serene vibe. Although, the bird refuge may give off a slight stench due to the water and birds. But it won't linger for long in the air lol. On my visit, I ordered a simple drip coffee and a Harvest Breakfast sandwich. I added bacon, which was a great call. This sandwich is served on a soft delicious biscuit that is made locally. The egg is fluffy and the bacon completes this meal. It was delicious and the perfect way to start my day. They also offer a variation of Avocado toasts. Some with fruit and the traditional. A small selection of cookies and baked goods are also available. Restrooms are on site. Just be sure to ask for the code. Customer service was fast and friendly. Overall, a great addition to the Montecito area. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Perfection, honestly I just love everything about it. We came for breakfast with our toddler and baby and it was exactly what we were looking for. The space is so charming and beautiful. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The food 10/10 The coffee 10/10 I highly recommend Little King!

What a wonderful place to come and take some friends. It is probably not as busy on the weekdays. The toast with the almond butter was worth trying with a friend over yummy lattes. Yes, it is a little pricier but it is SB in a great location. Plus, as usual with my review endings, the parking is super easy and accessible.

Such a cute shop! I've been to Little King several times, and every experience is wonderful. Everyone is super nice, and their drinks are spot on.

Friendly service, cozy little ambiance inside, plenty of seating outdoors. I enjoyed the valley breakfast sandwich, tasty egg and cheese, i was looking forward tasting the bacon but I couldn't really taste an impact, would like to have had thicker pieces like other pictures. Nice place to stop before or after hike.

A hair cooked into the coffee cake

Aesthetics are 10/10 but the matcha me and my friend got was almost $10 and just tasted like milk. My friend ordered a chai and it was also very watered down and there was a hair in her coffee cake! Overall wouldn't recommend for the price of this place.

Curated merch!

We eagerly awaited Little King's arrival at The Post, and it has been worth the wait. The café perfectly complements The Post's relaxed yet refined atmosphere, with every detail thoughtfully curated -- from Montecito-inspired wall art and amber glassware to striped outdoor seating that's as functional as it is beautiful. The Little King team is warm and welcoming, creating a space you want to linger in. The coffee is exceptional, featuring house-made syrups, the best matcha on the market, and a selective food menu that rivals Europe's finest cafes. A moment for the breakfast sandwich -- a buttery, crispy biscuit layered with a baked egg, ethically/locally sourced American cheese and bacon, and my favorite local hot sauce from Priedite BBQ. It's perfection. For something sweet, the coffee cake pairs beautifully with a perfectly steamed flat white. Arrive early if you can -- their food often sells out before noon, a testament to their commitment to quality over quantity.

Blackberry toast - pic doesn't do it justice!

Best breakfast toast everrrrr! We came here on a weekend vacation and the blackberry toast was perfect. I'm still thinking about it hours later... I can't figure out how to replicate it and I'm gonna have to plan another trip to Santa Barbara just to indulge this. Also, fantastic service, perfect setting. My Americano and hubby's latte was incredible, my daughter's hot chai was luscious, breakfast sandwiches were yummy and filling. The yogurt bowl was my daughter's dream breakfast. But that toast... magic.

One of my favorite things to do when travelling is definitely visiting different coffee shops,…read moreespecially local favorites. This store is so cool! Like many parts of Santa Barbara, the buildings are steeped in history and reflect the Spanish heritage of the city. I walked in my dog (they're dog friendly!) and went straight to look for the menu. My dog immediately found the bike pump and the snacks they leave for dogs. Service is super nice! They all seem very jovial and cheerful - making it a really nice local vibe. It was great to see the community in the coffee shop. Sadly, the coffee leaves something to be desired. Their menu is pretty standard - you got your flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes - and nothing special or standout from the menu. That's fine - you can still be a standout coffee shop with a standard menu. I ordered two vanilla lattes - one hot, and the other iced with oat milk. Unfortunately, I think my order was misheard as my iced oat latte was missing the vanilla. - Vanilla Latte: Fine. My partner typically orders this everywhere and he said it was fine, but nothing standout. 3/5 - Iced Oat Latte: Already mentioned it was missing the vanilla I asked for, so I'll discuss the other elements. They use a darker roast - thus, making it more susceptible to a bitter taste. That, and I believe an over-extraction or a longer pull made the coffee quite bitter. They also served it in the same cup as the hot coffee. My main issue with this is that I'm a slower coffee drinker, and thus my cup began disintegrating as time passed. Their cups aren't constructed to uphold iced coffee well. 2/5 It was such a prime location nearby the USPS and is sat in a great historic area. Handlebars has great staff, who clearly enjoy their jobs, and have a great community surrounding it. It's sad that their coffee is subpar. Strongly recommend you order your coffee hot, to drink in-store, or just avoid.

I got the morning cinnamon roll, pain suiss chocolat, and the chocolate almond croissant. I don't know why pain au chocolat and almond croissants are usually 2 separate things but here they were combined into one pastry and of course it is as delicious as it sounds. The pain suiss was my favorite because it had a delectably crunchy and fine texture from all of the small striations on the pastry. The display for the pastries was small and didn't seem like there was an impressive spread but everything was a hit and I am sure all of the other pastries were delicious as well. They had savory menu items too. The bad: The interior is small and there are only a few high chairs. The interesting: There were plenty of spots to park when I came in the morning right in front of the store. There were also several outdoor tables for dining.

Win for both of us! We gobbled up their remaining goods of the morning and got a great deal. Their grains are all from France, specializing in sourdough and hand making all their pastries. We tried the Almond Croissant and a fruit cookie which were both good. The standout is their Kouign Amann ($5.50) which you can't find everywhere! The owner of this bakery is actually from Brittany, France - the town this little delight was created in. Dominique Ansel made me fall in love with these flaky treats, and Bree'osh does the kouign amann quite well. If you've never had one before, it's similar to a croissant with brown sugar folded into a very buttery and delicious mold. Also had a solid cold brew coffee. With a few seats inside and outside on the cute outdoor sidewalk, Bree'osh is a fabulous place for a morning stop.

I was invited to Montecito County as a keynote speaker, where I also led several workshops and an all-day retreat. When you're doing that kind of work, sleep (and great food!) is paramount. The organizers put me up in a wonderful hotel, and just a few feet away I discovered this adorable bakery. What a gift. Let's talk food--because WOW. I ordered a breakfast burrito with crispy bacon that was absolutely delicious. I treated my daughter to a breakfast sandwich, and she wisely added avocado and crispy bacon (excellent life choice). And I cannot forget the croissant--flaky, buttery, and so good it deserved its own moment. One day I had the hashbrowns, the next day the potatoes--both were outstanding. Comfort food done right. Despite the place being busy, the service was impeccable. Yvette and Jorie were not only kind and welcoming, but incredibly patient, serving everyone with genuine smiles and care. What truly impressed me was returning the next morning before my flight back to San Francisco--and Yvette remembered my name. That speaks volumes about the caliber of people who work here. It's rare, and it matters. I look forward to being hired again in Montecito County--and when I am, I already know exactly where I'll be eating. And hey... maybe you want to hire me sometime too. Highly recommend.

My Arnold palmer had fresh tea and very tart lemonade. My partner's coffee came in a large mug but was just ok. My side of avocado was fresh but the strawberries in my side of fruit, not so much.
