I worked at the El Cajon Yogurt Mill, so I know good frozen yogurt. This shop carries the exact same main flavors and they are good. I love their Wow Cow, which is low carb (low sugar) and it is delish! The only thing I can't stand.. the darn bell that rings multiple times when someone enters the tiny store. It's a nit pick, but if you are sitting inside, enjoying your dessert, it can get annoying super quick. :) read more

A quaint, nostalgic place that I frequent maybe every 4-5 years. Each time I go in the place is relaxed and calm (I typically go in on Sunday late afternoons). The lady at the front counter was very sweet and treated me as if she knew me for a long time which I highly sought after when scouting out local gems. I ordered an old favorite of mine as a child, Mint Chocolate Chip with extra chocolate chip toppings and it took me back to a carefree world. I only wish more people would bring their children, albeit not as frequently, just to get a sense of a little happiness for awhile. The decor was cute and different which made it seem more homey and the topping choices range from simple, to healthy to down-right palette inducing. Love this little place! read more

My favorite yogurt place. The workers are fun and friendly. The topping are sometimes stale but the yogurt is bomb, especially the lemon.

It's pretty simple, it's yummy. I looooove their red velvet cake flavor!! Seriously can't get enough, it tastes exactly like a red velvet cupcake, which is great if you're trying to cut those calories :) They have all the standard toppings I would want - heath bar, choc chips, mini M&M's. I don't like tart flavors so I can't speak to those. Their yogurt portions are huge and cheap, but their topping portions are relatively small and expensive. That would be my only complaint. I am a frozen yogurt nut, and have been to several shops in San Diego, and must say this is one of the cleanest I have been in. The topping bar is always full and tidy, and I don't feel like I need to wear a full suit when I go into this place. The flavors are good and they always have a wide selection, including 2 no sugar added flavors. Plus the prices are reasonable, especially if you print out the buy one get one coupon. Service is also very good. They fill up the cups pretty high and are always very friendly. The only thing I wish they would improve on is the seating. There is a weird couch, an outdoor plastic table, and one "regular" metal table. Get rid of the couch and patio table and bring in some real seating! read more

Went here with my grandkids. We 4 had the tiny size but that to me was enough. My 2 grandsons got cookies and cream with toppings. My granddaughter got vanilla custard with toppings. Mine was salted caramel latte with toppings. So delicious and creamy. On mine I added caramel sauce to mine and it was by Ghirardelli!!! We will be returning back. read more

I live right across the street from them and thought it might be comparable to Yogurt Mill without the drive (though the drive isn't really too bad). I got in there and the skinny little high school girl behind the counter seemed to wonder why I had come in and disrupted her texting. Then when I was trying to order she explained that they only serve the child-size portions (which at Yogurt Mill is more than enough). Well, I went on to spend $6 on two dixie-cups worth of passable frozen yogurt. Excellent yogurt! They accept competitors coupons too which is nice. The sizes are gigantic and the price is always right. You can get 2 big yogurts with toppings for like 6 bucks. Its right down the street from the pad so its a 2 minute walk. There are a bunch of kids that frequent the place which is kind of a drag. A little side rant here about the kids.........the youth of Santee are for the most part a bunch of crapheads. Bunch of punk little kids wearing black shoes with pulled up black socks and their flatbill hat. I even saw a kid.....couldnt have been more than 14......with that attire on I just described, with a cig behind his ear.......riding a razor scooter. Come on bro. If you want to smoke and act tough ditch the razor scooter at least.......so anyways......you may encounter some of these kids at Go Get Yogurt but no need to worry folks......you can get your yogurt and get out of dodge pretty quick. read more

My husband and I really appreciate customers' complements and advice. We know that people like this place because the previous owner had been doing a variety of fundraisers for schools and organizations. We are sure that many people have noticed that we have been doing fundraisers like the previous owner for schools since we took over the shop. We just want to explain how the fundraiser for the 'Run for the Arts' has been with our shop for the past years. This is the letter from the previous owner to inform us about the fundraiser for " Run for the Arts": "Last year we did the Run for the Arts fundraiser as a part of the school fundraisers and gave them 100%. Last year was the first year that we included them in the 100%, and they were required to have the flier. The way she described the fundraiser, with no flier required, was the way we ran it the first four years, but Run for the Arts was not included then. Last year everyone had to have a flier. Maybe the person in charge was an old PTA President from a school that was included in the fundraiser one of those first years, and she didn't realize that the fundraiser had changed. We've never allowed anyone to pass out fliers at the door for any fundraiser." Go Get Yogurt is the frozen yogurt place which I compare all other yogurt places to. It is my absolute favorite yogurt place. They have a wide selection of yogurts every day. Their flavors change daily, but they always have the staples, like Vanilla, Choc., Tart Strawberry (which is my absolute freaking favorite!). You can be a plain Jane and get one flavor, one topping, or get three flavors with several different toppings. Sometimes they have peanut butter and chocolate fudge, which is awesome together (along with a brownie topping). Also their serving size is HUGE for the price! I think its better than the big chain Ice Cream places out there, and I like that they are family owned. This is one of those places where even if the staff isn't overly friendly (which usually they are), frankly I don't care cause I'm there for the yogurt, not to socialize with the staff ;o). read more

I've been coming here for years, ever since it opened a decade or so ago, and it's still just as good with the newer owners. They are friendly, the portions are huge and the prices are excellent. There are tons of flavor options and I really don't care to make my own so that isn't a problem for me. Also, GGY has always been extremely involved in our community and offers our schools great fund raising opportunities. You get a lot of yogurt for the sizes, but they offer a tiny $2.50 cup with 1 topping that is perfect for smaller children. They have more than enough options for toppings, all their yogurt is non-fat, a plus, and one of the few places with no sugar added yogurt options! After seeing all the rave reviews, I was excited to try this yogurt joint out!! However, I realized I was going to be disappointed as soon as I walked in. They put their yogurt behind the counter as well as all of their toppings. It's not a self serve place like most of the frozen yogurt places I frequent, where they weigh it by ounces after you are done. I will say that the small portion was more than enough and would have easily satisfied two people, but I hated how they gave a measly portion of toppings and charged 50 cents per for it. read more

My family and I just moved to the area a few months ago and this place is right down the street from us! We LUV IT!! The price is good the yogurt is awesome ( red velvet is my fav!) and the customer service is great! We've been enjoying Go Get Yogurt (flavors, quality and service) since it opened. Now we take our grandchildren there. It's a relaxed, fun place to go. We like the flavor phone and curbside service. Your kids will probably want to go inside so they can "feel" the atmosphere and watch what others are getting. Most of them want to "Inspect" everything, especially the toppings. This yogurt doesn't have a chalky taste or a grainy texture. The only thing I'd love to see is a few choices of truly sugar free yogurt, not just what they call "no sugar added". Why would plain flavored varieties have to have any sugar? Or maybe they could have sugar free sherbet? read more

Let me start with saying that I never do yelp reviews, never felt motivated too until now. This place is a bit scrappy looking but it is by far the best yogurt spot I've been too. I have come multiple times now and the workers are always sweet and very accomadating. (I ask alot of questions) The flavors are delicious and the price for each size includes 2 toppings with no extra charge. I got 3 flavors and 2 toppings for $4.10+tax, and that was a child size. They also don't skimp you on stuff, they fill the cup up and then some. The only thing I'd fix is their menu boards, they definitely need an update but regardless, I will be coming here all summer long. read more
