Would you believe me if I tell you that this morning we were 10 people waiting for the 6:30am bus at Alewife station and the driver drove by us and left without his passengers? Would you believe me if I tell you that customers service was yelling at all of us on the phone? Because the pick up location had changed. I was standing right in front of their signs tho... Would you believe me if no one did anything to help us out? Well go buses does it! Pay to get treated like you are no one and you are worth nothing. Unfortunately, without customers, you run out of business. Wake up before it is too late go buses!

No curtain on bathroom window on a dark night. Tinting does little more than obscure. This is like peeing in the middle of traffic.

The bus is fine except for the fact that many of the buses do not have a curtain on the GIANT WINDOW IN THE BATHROOM and the tinting does nothing when it is dark out. The world can see your profile while you use the bathroom. BEWARE especially if you bring your children in there! One of the drivers went to the bathroom while we were waiting in line where they pick you up in NYC while it was dark out and you could see the profile lit up like a Christmas tree from the outside. I emailed the company a month ago and received a call 24 hours later saying they were "looking into it." On the bus right now and there is still no curtain. Over 4 weeks later and a simple solution to such an invasion of privacy could be purchased at Target for a buck! Very disappointed this company has not taken this issue seriously.

Bus stuck on the way, it is already 1:30am, feeling unsafe

Worst bus experience ever, stuck on the way for two hours, driver does not say a thing.

I've looked online and can't seem to find an answer, is there parking at the Newton location and if so, what are the rates?

Check Riverside MBTA daily parking rates. https://www.mbta.com/stops/place-river You might want to call them to ask about overnight parking.

It's an express bus, so for your LinkPass holders it's a little more expensive, but it's quicker than quick because it takes the pike instead of local roads. In fact.. it might be a leetle TOO quick (just a note for those that stand). But when I used to take it.. around 8:30AM.. there were usually enough seats and very few people had to stand. All business folk too. Dare I say it was always on time? Although the drivers sort of remind me of Lloyd the delivery guy from Scrubs. You know, the air drummer (that is.. trivia point.. one of the writers for Scrubs)? So imagine Lloyd driving a bus instead of a delivery truck/ambulance. While fast, you may not always feel the safest..

This bus gets me from its first stop to Federal Street in under a half an hour, without the hassle of stopping at too many red lights, dealing with BU kids who have a state of the art fitness center yet can't be bothered to walk 100 extra feet to get to class, and people who smell like they haven't showered since the Reagan 80's. I have an extra half an hour in the morning to relax, an extra half an hour at night, and all for $30 a month extra. Well worth it. If you live within a mile of one of these express buses and you have to go downtown in the morning - this is the only way to travel. Pay the extra $30 - it will immediately improve the quality of your commute, and the quality of your life, and I stand by that statement.

Few can top what we did on May 06, 2026, when I booked the Original Boston Mob Tour in Boston. We are highly interested in learning all there is to know about different points of view and aspects of the Italian Mafia. Last fall we took a bus around Chicago while visiting the city for a hockey tournament and took a Mob Tour there. The Boston Mob Tour we attended yesterday for our son's 15th birthday was absolutely off the charts on every level and far surpassed the one we had taken in Chicago. We arrived at 9:45am for a 10am start, and to say that we lucked out by getting Mr. Michael Romano as our Tour Operator would be an understatement. We were greeted in Mr. Romano's first-class immaculate Suburban with plenty of room. We had the first tour of the day and luckily again enough for us, we were the only ones for this tour time. Thus, we held it privately, and felt like VIPs and were treated like such. Mr. Romano served as our photographer and took souvenir photos that was so very much appreciated. The rest of the tour was absolutely a blur. Mr. Romano was fascinating and endearing. He navigated around the city easily, and he felt like an old friend telling us everything about South Boston and the Irish mob and then hitting the North End, and to be quite honest, I was really sad having to say goodbye at the conclusion of our tour. I should also note that we live in Central Massachusetts. Thus, Boston is only about 35 minutes away. The word; "tourist" is not something I would throw around when referring to us visiting Boston and going on this tour at all. However, going on Mr. Michael Romano's Tour; www.theoriginalbostonmobtours.com is a MUST do for EVERYONE. It was one of the most fun, interesting and highly recommended tours I would tell anyone to go on - not only visiting the city, but for locals. You learn everything not just about the mob - but history, civil engineering, gentrification, trivia, pop culture, recommendations for restaurants, and noteworthy events. We had the time of our lives. MORE THAN 5 STAR REVIEW IF WE COULD. Thank you so much, Mr. Michael Romano, we will always remember you, and we hope we cross paths with you again more than you realize. You made our day something in which we will never forget on so many levels.

Since I'm driving again, I only use it for times that parking is a nightmare, like the airport or to the State Fair, but I found out that I could use similar service while visiting other cities. Bonus! After doing some pre-leg work to get an account, my husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule The Ride to pick us up and take us anywhere we wanted to go in Boston for TWO BUCKS each ride! We never had to take a bus or train, and the longest we ever waited was five minutes. Forget taking a trolley ride of the city, we had tour guides wherever we went-local drivers that were happy to give us the scoop! It was much more organized that the system in Minnesota-professional, courteous, and made traveling with a disability much easier than it would have been if I had to take buses, trains, and taxis, or if we had to rent a car in order to see the city. This way I was able to focus on having a great trip even though walking long distances is hard for me. This was a great service!

They are firing many of the drivers if they have the slightest, routine health defect (which is just about everyone). They have too few drivers and are routinely half an hour to 45 minutes late. I have been late for many appointments. My driver Thursday told me they just have too few drivers now. When you call to ask where your ride is, they are told to say it's just around the corner. When you call in another 15 minutes, they routinely lie again. It's really a shame that handicapped and mobility impaired people are treated like this. But, we're not the 1%, so many feel we don't deserve anything.

One annoying issue with this stop is how far apart the platforms for crossing are and they are perfectly spaced so when the Train pulls in, it parks right over it!
