Ok I love this store. Owners, family, and staff. BUT just leaving a review for this product. This pancake mix is so delicious you don't need anything on them! Easy easy mixing and cooking. Even I can do it. We did a side by side against our previous favorite protein pancakes. Hands down, this GNC protein pancakes mix took the win. I like that this shop takes the extra step and only tries to bring in quality products for customers. This product had me a little skeptical because I have tried and liked other protein pancakes mixes. This one has ruined it for others however. I am hooked. The extra sugar added had me concerned but tried anyway. My agave does not have extra sugar added but some in at 30g for just 2 tablespoons. These pancakes can be enjoyed without syrup so win for me. Met the owners about 5 years ago working at a restaurant, they said to come in and get a t shirt and a shaker and ever since they have made everyone of my experiences awesome. Always give the best customer service, they care about there clients success and help with discounts and goodies wherever possible. I will not go to any other gnc because of Patrick and his wife! I'm reading the reviews and I wish my experience was as positive. Especially since this is a franchise, family-owned business and I believe in supporting them. Especially since it is within my neighborhood. However, my experience here was bad. Having purchased a wrong flavor online, and wanting to exchange it for another, I brought my product to this location without any idea of the difference between the chain and this location. I simply was happy that I might be able to shop locally here on my next order and I wanted to check the place out. I asked the lady at the counter if they took exchanges to which she replied they did w/receipt. Being a GNC Pro member, I advised that my purchases would be under my account which she said that would be fine. While she was looking me up, the bald bearded guy who identified himself later as "Steve" and the manager, began saying that it was bought at another store, (or online in my case) that they basically didn't want to exchange the item. Not that they couldn't, not that it's their policy, but basically "yeah I need that flavor so we are not going to do it". I looked at my wife, somewhat stunned, and said, tactfully, "Ok...I'll remember that" to which he immediately responded, aggressively, "GOOD!" At that point, as I was exiting the store, I asked for the manager and the bald guy identified himself, as previously mentioned. So...I would not be on Yelp writing a negative review if it was just a "I'm sorry but we can't take the exchange". Or something else to where it wasn't made to seem like a personal attack. I'm with Anthony Bourdain (RIP) on his negative opinion on Yelp reviews. But this was just utterly disrespectful and I believe that they don't deserve my (and to be) in business and to be representing GNC. I will take the lady's suggestion (who was professional) and exchange the product, and do my purchases either online or at the mall location. I'm just getting back to working out. I was very unsure of what to get as far as pre-workouts go. He took the time to show me different ones and make sure I got exactly what I needed and answered all my questions. I went home and tried the one I got and it was excellent! I love supporting small business so I was already happy. She helped me pick out some protein drinks to try and a good pre-workout as well. Great customer service deserves five stars. The young man working tonight was in top form. I popped in to waste time while waiting for my Chinese food to go order. I was offered help in finding something I may have been looking for, offered a sample of a sports drink, discussed various supplements and inquired about the purpose of some. And I even picked up something my sister in law sorta directed me to. Not so much. I think I spoke to the owners when I went in the store in Dec. The lady was very eager to help and nice, her husband, bald guy....started out ok, but....I had asked for a quote on some protein powder, a larger purchase to see if I could get a deal if I bought in bulk. (no pun intended) He left for a minute. The lady and I were laughing over a sarcastic comment I had made, NOT intending to upset anyone (why would I want to upset anyone? I was in there asking for help, and ready to order over $1,000 in product.) Anyway, he came back out, and must have misunderstood what I said... he only heard a couple words of her and my conversation...threw his pen and pad of paper on the counter and quoted the regular price. I asked if he was upset, he walked off saying something, obviously upset...I told her good luck. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day, I get it. I have always been a huge fan of GNC, they are a great company. They were one of the first "go to" nutritional product stores, even in my small hometown. Sometimes, they may get a younger person who doesn't really know much about the products, but they are usually love health and wellness and are eager to find the answer. I was sponsored by my old local GNC, I was proud to support and represent a local business. This day, I was so bummed and turned off by GNC. I had walked next door looking for a cool Christmas tree ornament in Hallmark, all I remember was that dude was so rude and ruined my ornament shopping adventure. As a person who has been in the fitness industry for over 25 years, 20 of that as a strength coach and educator, 10 year bodybuilder/figure/bikini competitor, owned my own Personal Training business and a leading Fitness Manager for an industry Gold Standard...I will kindly pay more and drive to Tucson if I can get better service. read more

This specific GNC location is the best GNC store I've ever been too. I tend to avoid GNCs because I have had bad experiences with them in the past. I feel that most GNCs want to push as much product on you and provide contradictory advice. That is not the case with this location! This store is a family-owned franchise with the owners themselves frequently working. They are very knowledgeable and friendly and genuinely want to help and see you reach your goals. I have received great advice from the staff and have seen great results! I never feel pressured to by anything when I'm there and never had a regretful purchase. The staff informs of the different options and opinions of the products they sell and provides a good understanding to choose from. They are honest and very helpful. This GNC is different from most and I highly recommend checking them out! read more

No matter where I live in the valley I always make the drive to this specific GNC. Been a customer for several years and not once have I been misdirected when it comes to buying supplements.
