If you need anything remotely supplement elated you need to go to Performance Supplements in Mesa, AZ. The owner Alex has an impressive background and is one of the most genuine and honest people I have known. You should not ever even hesitate to ask him or his employee Chad any questions. Do not be intimidated by these big guys at all they are the friendliest guys you will ever meet and they love to help people with whatever you need help with. Alex and Chad know so much about what they sell and they will never suggest anything you don't want or need meaning they are honest and I trust them. Trust is a big thing when you are buying things that you will be eating or drinking and can be some strong stuff. Alex is such a nice guy you would think you will be asked to come over for dinner when you talk to him and it wouldn't seem awkward. Alex is the guy you know that you secretly wish you were as cool as. I actually consider him like a friend he is that friendly and will love to talk to you anything relating weightlifting, supplements or in the gym. Chad is awesome and he is a big guy, Alex is huge but Chads arms are so big I think all the tats on his arms could be the entire Declaration of Independence and the complete Bible all in text big enough to read if you have poor eyesight. He's one of those guys you really don't want to meet in a dark alley so to speak. But then just say Hi and he's so friendly and helpful that when I go there we end up talking forever. He is an arm wrestling guy so if he challenges you to arm wrestle save your ulna and radius and say no thanks. Go to Performance Supplements in Mesa, AZ you won't want to go to any other supplement store ever again. They will take care of you! read more

I started working out at the gym next door in March so I decided to go into this shop. The owner Alex Frekey was working and as soon as I walked in he greeted me and asked if I needed help. I told him what my goals were with my fitness plans and he was very helpful very knowledgeable he didn't try selling me anything he not only listened to what my goals were he gave me some valuable information on how to achieve my goals he recommended a couple of products that could help with my goals I never once felt pressured. I have been in several supplement shops and not one of them comes close to the customer service the knowledge and the products/prices of this shop. I continue to do business there and I am happy to say that with Alex's help and endless knowledge I am at 75% of my goal and I am in the best shape of my life. If you have to choose one place to buy your workout supplements I definitely recommend this place I give them a 100 out of 10 read more

I highly recommend Performance Supplements for all of your health and wellness needs. They have a supplement for every goal! Some of my favorites for strength training include: Krea-Grow (which is the best creatine HCl I've ever used), Vehement high stim pre-workout that gives you a great workout without the crashing side effects, and Intra-Grow for the essential amino acids to feed your muscles and the electrolytes to keep you hyrated.. and it tasted AMAZING ( favorite flavor is Swole Candy) I also highly recommend performance, supplements probiotics, Vita-Grow, and liver and kidney support for organ & gut health. if you're serious about training and want clean supplements, this is where to shop!! read more

The proprietor Alex is extremely helpful. I went into the Performance Supplements looking for a cookbook to help me meal prep. While, the store did not carry the book, instead of turning me away, Alex had me fill out a nutritional questionnaire and within a week he made me a daily meal plan and as an added bonus, he gave me a workout plan as well. Someone with Alex's training and experience could have charged me a few thousand dollars for these resources, but he truly cares about his customers. I would recommend Performance Supplements to anyone looking for a personal and thorough purchasing experience and a break from the cookie-cutter molds of large chains like GNC and VitaminShoppe. read more

What can I say? Oh, simple, THANK GOD this store has crossed my path and that they've opened up right next to my gym! First off, wow, the prices are extremely reasonable and the best I've ever seen. I hated buying online and waiting and paying for crazy shipping, now, this makes my life so much easier! Best prices, top of the line customer service, no Bull shit information fed to you like those of GNC and the owner actually cares about your goals. Very Approachable. I would highly recommend this place and tell everyone to come through! Ask for Alex. read more

I have been using Performance Supplements for years now. My favorite product is their Vita-Grow. I've used other multi vitamins in the past and I never noticed a difference leading me to believe I was just wasting my money. Then, when I started taking their multivitamin, I could actually see and feel the difference- more energy, I was regular, I didn't have to compound a bunch of other vitamins on top of it. I will never go back to any other. I also use the Pre-Grow and Intra-Grow in my regular workout routine! The best company around! read more
