There were so many local vendors from all across the South Bay, Monterey, and Salinas areas selling fresh fruits and vegetables of all varieties. So many spots had free samples of their fruits which was my favorite part. As one person kept shouting, "you get more samples here than Costco!" and they weren't kidding. After all the organic goods, there was a great selection of bakeries and food trucks also selling different items from Chinese dumplings to Mediterranean spreads. I was happy to see so many vegan friendly options too from my walk throughout the market. We were even gifted with live music from a guitarist. Even during its peak times, there wasn't a huge crowd that prevented you from moving back and forth between the shops. I thoroughly enjoyed the vibes and look forward to stopping by again.

There's also a parking available. We had to drive around a bit to find a spot but it didn't take long.(All the spots seem to be for compact cars,it's really tight parking) This market has a nice mix of produce and food. Also plenty of made food. I saw at least 3 fresh meat and fish vendors. Also some unique specific vendors,(mushrooms ,olives, heirloom tomatoes) We got there around 1130am so it was pretty crowded. Walking around everyone was fine. Lots of rude people trying to find parking.

This is about as close as one can…read moreget to a substitute for a European open-air market, like Milk Pail (which closed in Mountain View almost a decade ago). There are lots of uncommon fruits and veggies, like fresh jujube fruits, prickly pear cactus fruits, and specialty herbs and greens. It's a great way to support local businesses and farmers, while keeping excess produce out of the landfills. The open-air market style also allows for individual selections of produce, and considerably less plastic packaging!! Don't forget your reusable bags, but if you do, they sell some and they even offer green, compostable produce bags available for any quantity you are in need of. Foothill Produce is particularly great for discount deals on ripe produce if you are keen on same-day recipes. They also have a large selection of European, Russian, Polish, Middle-Eastern, and Jewish foods (fresh and frozen). The market always has apples of almost every variety, seasonal products, fresh breads and challah, and plenty of standard groceries as well. Fingers crossed for a bountiful 2026. If you're debating stopping by, let this be your encouragement.

Their prices have always been reasonable, and while there were occasional quality issues, they were easy to overlook. However, I've recently stopped shopping here as often due to a serious decline in the freshness of their produce. It's become common to see pallets of berries and other items that are completely moldy or rotten. Even if these items are discounted, selling produce in this condition is a health risk and shouldn't be allowed. I'm leaving this one-star review to get management's attention, please stop putting moldy products out for customers. I am more than willing to update this review and return as a regular customer once I see a consistent improvement in quality

We love the Domingo Mimosa Sour beer they carry (it's not available a lot of times) -- it used to be a repeat buy for us, every single visit! They have great vegetarian options -- the barley soup and the mushroom caramelized onion pizza are so good. We're always a fan of their vegan chocolate cake, and the croissants are good too. There's also a wide variety of cheeses, which I really like (some days you can try those as well before buying). Their desserts are consistently good -- I once picked up assorted tarts and they were delicious, our friends liked it too! The garlic ricotta pizza slice looked pretty appetizing, but it was a bit too salty for my taste (I do not eat less salt in general). It's definitely not your regular grocery store -- everything is high quality, thoughtfully stocked, and yes, a bit on the pricier side, but most times we can tell the difference. The ambiance and cleanliness are always top-notch -- it is Whole Foods, after all. The staff is efficient and always available, at the Amazon returns section. Parking is usually easy with plenty of spots in the basement, unless you're lucky enough to grab one right outside at ground level.

Tons of boxed lunches and a lot of variety from sushi to many different cooked foods. Many frozen meat and fish items but almost all are frozen (other then the bento lunches). That was a bit diappointing. Had a bento lunch at the Pogu - Bulgogi. This was a good meal with plenty of banchan Also bought a matcha drink at the Cafe which was good. Bought some cookies at the Bakery, which is gluten free. Overall experience was good, but it's pretty hard to get to since I live west of 280 and there's no easy way to get there except down Page Mill, which is very slow. It's easier to just go to downtown Palo Alto or MV. Probably fiine for people living close to 101. They are right next door to Home Depot and I never go there unless I have to do major hardware shopping like lumber. So it's unclear whether I would make the effort to go to Mega Mart except to get stacks of short ribs or shabu shabu meats.
