She texts back starting to reschedule, I text back to confirm, but then she calls asking if I'm still free. That did not sit well with me. I was also disappointed by how some of my preliminary questions were handled. When I asked about the general techniques Dr. Zeidler uses to address implant malposition/pocket support, I was told those questions would need to be addressed during the paid consultation, almost immediately, without any offer to provide further detail in email. I understand that my specific treatment plan requires an examination, but I was asking these questions specifically to determine whether the practice's approach was potentially compatible with my needs before investing additional time and money. When asked about a way to send photos using a HIPPA compliant method (after I schedule the second consult), since email is unsecured, Sabara said they have a HIPPA compliant email and to send it through there.... The preliminary price range Saba gave me, approx. $15,000-$30,000, also felt unusually broad and did not give me much confidence given what former patients actually say. I was hopeful with this office, and with Dr. Zeidler in particular. The non-medical staff we interact with is a reflection of the overall business, and with Saba's tenure with Aesthetx, without the timeliness, accuracy nor helpfulness to answer baseline questions is disappointing. At 4:18 PM today, I received a text asking me to arrive 10 minutes early. I get off work at 5:30 PM, so I rushed through traffic, found parking, and then walked around the building trying to locate the office. Despite all of that, I arrived at approximately 5:46 PM -- one minute after my actual scheduled appointment time. When I arrived, I was told that I was "15 minutes late" and that my appointment would not be accepted. I understand businesses need policies to keep their schedules running smoothly, but asking a client to arrive early does not change a 5:45 appointment into a 5:35 appointment. If arriving by 5:35 was an absolute requirement for receiving the service, that should have been clearly communicated when the appointment was booked--not in a text at 4:18 PM the same day. What made the experience particularly disappointing was the way I was received. After rushing from work, dealing with traffic and terrible parking, and walking around outside in nearly 90-degree weather trying to find the location, I wasn't greeted warmly or even with eye contact. There seemed to be very little effort to understand what had happened or find a solution. I simply felt dismissed. I had actually been excited about coming here and had already told several of my female coworkers about your services. I was hoping this would be a place I could recommend and potentially become a returning client myself. Instead, I left feeling that a customer who arrived essentially on time for her scheduled appointment wasn't worth even a conversation. I hope management will review what happened and clarify the arrival policy for future clients. More importantly, I hope some consideration is given to how clients are received when something doesn't go perfectly according to schedule. I had gone to several places for consultations and some recommended lasers but said that it was close to the eye and due to my skin type, it wasn't recommended. I Googled around and found this place. Dr. Lee was very knowledgeable and ran me through my options and answered all my questions. I was even able to get the procedure the day of. He suggested the vbeam laser and that seemed to do the trick. The bruising after can be quite intense and scary looking, but it healed up just as he described. The darkest of my bruising went away around day 5, a small scab formed and fell off day 7. I'm on day 11 now, it's still healing up, it's pale pink in the treatment area and the angioma seems to have faded away nicely. I highly recommend Dr. Lee. I really appreciated his frankness and realistic approach. The staff was great, the procedure went well, and the cost was much less, and the treatment was probably more effective than any of the other treatments I was suggested at the other places I consulted. There is a $150 consultation fee that can be applied to your future treatment. I can't remember, but I think this is good for a few months.
