THE CLERK LEAVES WHEN HE FEELS LIKE IT!
    A.D. L.

Called the store to ensure it was open due to COVID (not all locations are open)--confirmed it was open till 8 pm. When I arrived (around 2:45) I noticed the clerk was locking the door and walked to the Subway next door for lunch (everyone deserves a break/meal, no problem). I waited--he walked out of Subway and I gave him another 25 minutes or so and went to the store door STILL LOCKED. It is now 3:40 pm I've called the store--no answer; I've called corporate--they were unable to reach anyone at the store but corporate ended the call with"Live Well". This is absolutely ridiculous!

a sign with a clock on it that reads will return

This store says its opens up earlier than others at 9am. I've come multiple times and it's never open. Today it has a sign, will return at 12!! Come on. Terrible.

Door's locked, took this photo around 6:45pm

Drove over 20 minutes to this GNC just for them to be closed over an hour and a half before they were supposed to be. I should have listened to the other reviews which state that this location can never be relied upon to actually be open during their posted business hours. There was a sign on the door stating will be back around 3 but the doors were locked at 6:45 pm. Ridiculous!

Just don't come or any other GNC, way too expensive. Go to bodybuilding.com for the same products over half the price.

They have their own little parking lot that is separate from the other shops in that center. Clean Eats is restaurant that offers a variety of health foods. You can order online, call ahead or order in person. You can even have your meals delivered to you. They have convenient pre-prepped meals and cater to special diets like vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, keto, gluten free and paleo. The inside of the store is clean and tidy but very small. They have outdoor seating for you to enjoy your meal there. I ordered a pork Chili Verde with rice and beans as well as a breakfast burrito. The pork Chili Verde was so delicious as well as the Spanish rice and beans. The burrito was packed with eggs, potatoes and turkey sausage and came with a side of salsa. My husband really enjoyed his burrito for breakfast. It was very filling. I love that they list the macros and nutrients, ingredients and instructions for heating on each package meal. These meals are so convenient. And you can pick and choose your proteins, carbs, and veggies to your barrier. All ingredients are freshly displayed behind the clear plastic shield where you place your order. They are so many options to pick from. The employee working there was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to try other items.

I was still eating pretty healthy and was active during the pandemic but since I took a promotion at work, everything went downhill. I developed insomnia, skipped the gym due to work, started binge eating... there are days that I did not want to get up. As I slowly work my way back to my old self, I stopped by here recently to get some food for myself w/o guilt. I do enjoy the keto pizza. I just wished the macros are available. The meatballs were good, but I'd recommend dipping them in hot sauce, zero-sugar sauce, or their Clean Eats' condiments to kick it up a notch. They're not dry but since I was trying not to consume simple carbs, I ate it plain like that. The salad was fresh, very yummy. The parking is small and the intersection this place is located gets rather busy during the rush. If you know what you are ordering, suggest ordering for pickup to save time. I love how it's like a healthy Chipotle w/ all things protein-related (protein shakes, protein chips, protein cookies, protein candy, etc.). I love having this place as an option when I cannot decide what to eat or if I don't have time to cook.

I don't know…read moremuch (or anything) about CBD, so I did a quick Google search and discovered it might possibly help and it doesn't make you high. I headed to CBD Farmacy to pick up some cream. It turns out they have two sides to their business. The "farmacy" side of the business has an austere, clinical vibe. In that section they sell topicals, edibles, gummies, pre-rolls, tinctures, and more. The smoke shop side of the business has lots of colorful spray-painted artwork on the walls that looks like graffiti. There is something interesting (mainly glass pipes and bongs) everywhere you look. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I had already picked out the two creams I wanted to try from their website, so I showed him pictures of them, but they only had one in stock. He assured me the one they had would be good for my hands, so I bought it. It was expensive at $60, but worth it to me if it calms the inflammation. I started to leave, but then went back and asked if they had gummies that would help me sleep. He kindly gave me a small sample pack to try before bed. My trip to CBD Farmacy felt like a fun little adventure. I tried the cream on my hands when I got home and it reduced the inflammation immediately and made my hands feel super soft, but I had to apply more a couple hours later. It absorbed well and wasn't greasy at all.

SO GOOD :) will definitely be coming to this location often because surprisingly (moved here from TX) finding actual CBD, or 1:1, 1:3 is hard. Not a lot of shops I've seen in my area carry it or if they do it's Jank stuff with very low CBD, or try the gimmiky approach. CBD farmacy has a lot of nice products at great value for whatever you might like.

The guy at the seafood counter (very tall). He's super friendly & helpful. You can tell he loves his job (apparently he used to work at The Fish Market). He provides great tips & is very knowledgeable. There's another guy who works in the deli section, Michael I think is his name? He is also super friendly and very helpful. He's been there for years. I hope he stays there! No matter how busy they are, he's always there to help you with a smile. There's another lady too, she's got curly blond hair, short (or maybe she wears it up) and she works in the deli, or at least she used to. I haven't seen her recently, but she was always super nice as well. Pro tip, look for their deals! Sometimes their pizza will be really cheap from their frozen section. They also have deals on their rotisserie chicken. They switch up the days though and I believe Fridays they have a pizza special.

Let me start by saying I love Whole Foods Market. Truly. It's one of my favorite grocery stores…read more But this location? Whew. It's the overachiever... in all the wrong ways. This store somehow manages to carry half the inventory of every other Whole Foods and then confidently leans into the "every store is different" line like it's a personality trait. Yes, I get that stores vary -- but this one feels like it's running a minimalist experiment the rest of us didn't sign up for. Friendliness is not an option. And let's talk about $1 Oyster Fridays. The oysters are there. The shuckers are there. The vibe? "Absolutely not." They flat-out refuse to shuck them for you, which feels like selling pizza and refusing to slice it because "every pizzeria is different." The real kicker, though, is the energy. The staff acts like friendliness is an optional add-on that didn't make it past budget cuts. I'm not asking for a standing ovation when I walk in -- just basic, Whole Foods-level pleasantness. That's kind of the brand, right? I'll still shop at Whole Foods. Just not this one -- unless I'm in the mood for oysters I have to shuck myself and a side of attitude. The staff at Almaden are All Rockstars!!

I opened my tray of hot food, looked down and wondered, "hmm, for $8 it seems a little small in comparison to the $6 I payed for a huge pesto chicken wrap last time". I then proceeded to eat and after the first bite, I couldn't put down my fork until I was completely done with everything, it was so freaking delicious! Just to paint a picture in your head (because I killed my food before I figured to take a snapshot of it), the tray contained a small container of pulled barbecued chicken off the bone in the natural au jus, small dish of barbecue sauce, a scoop of home made mashed potatoes, and grilled corn off the cob. The food was amazing, full of flavor and even though at first thinking the portion was tiny, it was actually perfect, as my stomach was definitely satisfied. The chicken was so tender and juicy! He called me to let me know that he was having trouble, and that he'd be late. I was going to comp part of my meal for me. When he finally came, he apologized for the bad first impression and only charged me $5 instead of $13 (i got 2 items) What i ordered: Vanilla Yogurt $5 - About 1pint of DELICIOUS yogurt that wasn't too sweet and granola was something amazing...
