Its a shame this place has the rating it does because it is much more deserving in my humble opinion. Today was the first time I visited Hempire. Upon pulling up it was nice to see they have available parking. I walked in and immediately was greeted by David. This clearly cant be the guy the negative reviews talked about because he was very friendly, got me exactly what I needed and even got me 10% off my first order as a first time customer! I got 5 (full sized) joints for $5 ( shake but cant beat that price!) And I got a battery and indica cartridge. They had multiple other selections and I cant wait to go back and try more. They have an atm available that allows up to $200 to be pulled out AND they have tap pay and also accept credit cards! All this was very convenient as this comes into play later... As I went to pay (ONLY $35!) unfortunately my card was DECLINED and I ended up having to leave. David made the whole interaction very comfortable and apologized that I was having problems with my bank. He was even kind enough to give me a free joint which was nicer than the $1 joints and said here's at least something for you tonight. THAT is a company that cares about his customers!! Shortly after I left my bank texted me and I cleared up everything and went back. David still gave me all 5 joints, and had all my products ready for me and gave me that 10%. With such a great experience, it just seemed mandatory I leave him a review. He deserves it. Good dude. Thanks again David. I will definitely be back! -Chris read more

They don't even sell real marijuana. After I smoked a joint it tasted so bad I had to open open up both joints to see what was inside it and come to find out it doesn't even look like weed it just looks like dirt. Do not waste ur money here like I did flat out terrible. read more

Counterfeit products and they know. Wish i can rate 0 stars. This place is horrible. Products dont even taste like weed at all. Straight up chemicals. Especially for over priced products. I guess you pay the price if you dont have your ID to enter LEGAL dispensary read more

There is nothing wrong with service except it's disillusional, you do not get what you pay for. Products are hemp derivative, with a cannabis byproduct THCa. Do your research. Staff is friendly but scammers for sure as the staff does not or chooses not to tell the buyer about their hemp products. I don't know if hemp products its derivative, by products can harm healthwise. Customers are not being made aware that these products being purchased are hemp products etc. read more

Be smart, don't shop here!!! Fake dispensary is selling counterfeit products. Check all of your batch numbers with the manufacturers website and manufacturing dates for anything you purchase here. They will not match the strain that you purchased. Every product that they have from a specific manufacturer will have the exact same batch ID despite the strain. read more

stay awayyy they sold me 2 fake raw garden disposables they pop up as gmo glue when the flavors are skynana and cereal milk both boxes had the same batch id avoid at all costs replica everything place needs to be shut down im contacted the county read more

They Sell THCa, Not Actual Weed, The Same Stuff They Sell at a Smoke Shop, it's just a Smoke Shop without Tobacco

This place is super-creepy, with a lot of people hanging out in the (very dark) parking lot, which is super full, for some reason. And it's not a real dispensary -- they supply delta-8 THC which is a legal hemp-derived product, not real cannabis or real (delta-9) THC. read more

This is not a cannabis dispensary with THC products, do not go here if that's what you're expecting. My fault for not asking questions - but the employee could have been more forthright when I said I wanted something high % thc and then proceeded to point me in the direction of their house products. Buyer beware ‍ read more

Not a dispensary. Everything is fake. The guy working was literally smoking a blunt when I went in there.

Open late, good quality, and friendly. I rarely have to wait. They have a wide selection of products, be sure to check out everything behind the counter. Convenient parking. I once had an issue with a product and they were very professional about finding a solution. read more

In my own experiences and opinions, regarding Hempire... "Good/BIG things come in small packages." Everyone is very friendly , helpful and knowledgeable. Their selection is Quality and Quantity for your $$$. read more

Always friendly always helpful and always seem to be open Love these guys! Not to mention it's kind of cool that they're right next to a Popeye's Chicken lol read more

First of all they don't have any products besides the categories on the website. After making a call, the guy on the phone was very short and unwelcoming, like he wanted to get me off the phone fast. I said I may or may not go, and he responded "yep, don't come." I saw bad reviews for this place - and they are true :( read more

They NEVER answer their phone. They close at random times without warning. They don't open up on time. They have a stupid wannabe police SUV parked outside the door with a thin blue line gang flag on the side of it. Like for real?! What cannabis dispensary displays the thin blue line flag! They don't charge tax and they are cheap. That is the only positive to this store. read more

i always have a great time when i go to hempire. it's an experience. the workers are friendly and the weed is responsibly priced!! would give 6 stars if i could. read more

I got the dude who doesn't answer questions and I told him to get an attitude change before I hung up he messaged me from the business number to talk smack thru text then he blocks me. he's got plenty of time to message from the company number with a dumb jerk response but can't answer basic questions. by far worst experience and whatever they are smoking you don't want! 0 stars if I could read more

Okay I have never left this poor of a review. This isn't really a dispensary.. more of a window behind bars inside a tiny room. They have little tvs with a list of their products. No pictures or anything, and they only carried brands that I had never heard of before. I've gone to probably 15+ dispensaries across California and none have ever been like this one. The employee working was not friendly whatsoever, but I don't blame the guy because I wouldn't be happy go lucky on my shift here either. They're open til 10pm and most dispensaries close before then, which is why we came despite the low reviews. We left just a minute or two after walking inside, and I won't be back. There are a lot of things that could be improved about this place, but the easiest fix would be to add pictures to their product list so that customers could actually see what they're buying since there isn't any display. read more

Very convenient go there often. I was a little upset today because I thought the zero on the .03 wasn't gonna give me right but it did so thank you read more

It's not a real weed dispensary, they only sell delta 9 products but will tell you its real.

Delta 8/9, But will try to make it sound like it's real THC. Asked if they sold real weed as well Because confusing advertising, and employee replied "Delta is real weed now." Uhh what? No. If you sell only fake weed, just own that; don't try to confuse people into thinking you sell both. read more

I was disappointed because I arrived 15 min till close and was told they were closing up. Not actually open until 11.

Rude the employees or owner gets mad when you ask questions had a guy ask me if im "really gonna buy something" because I wanted to know how delivery works and they have poor quality flower read more

Second time coming here nice small place, not a huge selection but most of the inventory they do carry is of very high quality. Which makes it for an easy selection, I'm a fan of the CBD chocolate edibles they have and the drinks. Something very nice to get you through the day but wont make you feel lazy or drowsy. They carry a few flowers "cookies" was my choice of the day and some cartridges that are amazing. Some are about expensive but if you don't mind paying for quality this is the place to go. Overall I like this place is a very convenient spot close to my house and job, so I'll definitely will be stopping by again. Hopefully in the future the carry a bigger inventory. read more

It's like you're an inconvenience as a customer here. Not sure who the owner is but they might want to retrain their staff. These guys don't give a f#&$ about their job. read more

This place is pretty awesome. They rent out the back space of a popeye's chicken. I'm serious! lol. --- The prices are crazy cheap and I have no idea if they are even charging us taxes, or if their taxes are already baked into the price, but it seems weird that its THIS cheap.-- Not complaining at all. Its the biggest reason I keep coming back. It's CHEAP! That being said, I am highly skeptical of the edibles sold here. They sell products that claim upwards of 1,000 mg of thc in a single edible product, which, I thought was illegal in California. Every dispensary I've been to follows this. Also, these edible products CERTAINLY are NOT what's actually in the bag. The 1,000 mg bags, I have estimated to contain the legal 100mg amount per bag, they just advertise the greater-than-100mg per bag amount as an advertising gimmick. I know this because I've had friends go purchase from here as well, and they agree. There is no way the 1,000 mg products actually contain 1,000 mg of thc. But its a nice way to inflate the ego's of cannabis noobs. I don't blame them. I say, its still totally okay to buy the edibles, just know they are no where near the advertised amount. Expect them to pack as much punch as any other edible legally sold in California, which cannot exceed 100 mg by law. read more

This place is terrible... i accidentally left the wrong review lol, so for starters this places product was so shoddy i couldnt even get high from it at all, i bought a 15-20$ eight sack i believe and i had backwoods to roll in and they completely wasted my woods with that shitty weed. Service was very straightforward, lots of room for improvement, i also thought this was just a hood dispensary from the looks of it but after actually trying the product i will not be coming back thats for sure. Not even in a weed emergency, the fact that i'd rather be sober than smoke this again says alot because i am an addict btw (not really lol) but still would rather be sober than smoke this again. read more

Horrible service. Very rude, The product is always sketchy. Not sanitary and not legal.

if i could rate this place zero stars, i absolutely would. i would like to preface that i have been smoking for years and have worked in the industry for years, in two different states. (one being cali) anyway, i went in to get a couple prerolls and was so excited to get home and smoke them as i have been out for a few days. while trying to decide what prerolls to get, something felt off, especially when the "budtender" pulled a preroll out of the packaging to show me it was rolled in "keef". now, as someone from the industry, this was a bit odd as usually you don't take the product out of the packaging to "show" a customer / guest, but i moved past it, knowing not all dispensaries are the same. i get home and open the non infused preroll but it smelled and tasted like a cigarette / primetime (cigar for those who dont know what that is) but i ignored it as i am fully aware and knowledgeable that not all flower / prerolls taste or smell the same as other products or strains. its either harvested / grown different or contain different terpenes, etc. so, i took a few hits anyway through the unpleasant smell and taste and waited for a bit. didn't feel a thing. i then opened the infused one, very confused and just wanting to get a little high so i could relax, and again an unpleasant smell and taste. i decide at that moment to not get these products again as they aren't for me. i then take a few hits anyway and wait, then a few more and wait, a bit longer. still nothing. at this point im so confused that im questioning what im smoking. i check the packaging and it seems legit but there are some questionable things, however not every company packages the same so i give it the benefit of the doubt. i switch back over to the other preoll and take a few more hits, still nothing. at this point ive taken maybe 8-10 hits and feel nothing which is not possible...unless you are someone who smokes so much everyday that a preroll wont get you high. at that point you need to take a break. i start doing research online about this dispo bc im feeling like i might be crazy, and i see all these horrible reviews about this dispo and what do you know; not real products. i then call very kindly and respectfully to get a refund as i got a defective product. if you work in the industry or have come across a defective product you know that most the time you can return or exchange. now, i wasn't sure what their policy was but instead of telling me the policy the manager said "if you were in the industry you would know thats not something you can do" (which is not true for most dispensaries that have actual policies put in place.) he then gaslights me and says i must have not gotten high at all because of my tolerance. come on dude, as someone who has smoked for a long time i think i would know my tolerance. so instead of taking accountability and fixing it he decided to tell me its kot his problem and i need a tolerance break. i feel so disrespected and as a former lead / manager i am appalled. i then went to an actual dispensary and got the cheapest preroll i could find and took 4-5 hits compared to my 8 earlier; & guess what; and i felt high and relaxed. i usually dont make reviews but i could not let this horrible experience go untold, because i am absolutely shocked to have experienced something like this and have never had to worry about or make sure im going to an actual dispensary. save yourself the time, and money. read more

This place is so sketch.i thought it was just a hood dispensary since it's in the back of Popeyes. But they scammed us and didn't even tell us that the products we were buying was just some fake weed called delta 8. We came in for real THC products and left with some product that's all over the news for killing people. On top of that when we scanned the QR code on the back of the packaging, the entire website it takes you too is fake. Including the "costumer care line" with a 123456789 phone number. Straight up SCAM. Don't smoke anything you get here it's probably laced too. read more

This place is almost always closed when I walk by during normal business hours. The staff does not pick up the phone either, even during normal business hours, and you can't leave a message, as their mailbox isn't even set up. No website either, even after being open for months. C'mon guys, if you don't take care of your customers, someone else will, and if you don't get it together, Mother Nature is going to replace you very quickly. Competition is fierce in San Francisco and your management team is not exactly representing the Tenderloin to the fullest at this point. read more
