This store is fake AF because they have products that are not approved by GNC and they sell it to make money. When I reported the product they told me " it's not our business" they also recommend all the products that are not from GNC. I went to this place often once awhile and this guy was acting weird and make me feel uncomfortable also he was saying stuff that are crazy and other things that are non-relevant to my questions that I was asking and he was mentioning a co worker that I do not know who the hell she is. And these people are liars and show me bad customer service that is consider yelling at customers and confronting bc I ask them the same questions and they assume customers to buy products right now. They do not care about u come in and not sure what u are looking for. This is the last gnc place I will go if I was u I will check the brands products first before buying such as being independent going online. Customer service "manager" is HORRIBLE. I don't even know where to start. My boyfriend & I walk in, we know what we want...the "manager" a young lady walks out from back and my bf asks where is so&so product she doesn't even stop she says "back there" and walks behind the counter and keeps doing what she is doing....ummmm ok???? He asked her another question and she was so short with her answer and didnt even look up to acknowledge us. Once my boyfriend confronted her on her customer service she was so rude! Its a family owned business awesome but please train your "managers" to have acceptable customer service skills. We will never return to this store. I am just amazed how rude she was and thinks its okay. I can understand if someone is busy but I always thought customer comes first. Went there today and the sales girl was dry. No smile and no help at all. She didn't even know the customer service number. To help me get my membership info and my $5 off purchase. Honestly I had a great experience with them. I follow them on Instagram and asked them a question through the DMs about when are they going to receive Alani Nu's super greens. Because I called and went to 4 GNCs and not one store was able to tell me or help me. So I thought it's worth a shot sending them a DM. So keep in mind this was after hours so I wasn't expecting a response till the next day but they responded within 10 minutes!! Letting me know what day their shipment will come in with Super Greens and asking me if I want them to put one to the side for me. Hell yeah!! It's completely sold out everywhere else! They also let me know current sales they're having and it was honestly a great experience. I went in on Monday to purchase my super greens and I also ended up buying Alani Nu's fruity cereal because it's also sold out everywhere else!! It's hella good. Both of them. The fruity cereal protein taste just like fruity pebbles!! The super greens does taste a little nasty with only water but if you mix it with other fruits it taste amazing!! Kinda like the apples and greens drink from Jamba Juice. Marcela was working and honestly was great. She didn't over explain anything she just let me go in to collect my stuff and wonder around. One thing I do hate about other GNCs is the mansplaining. The male workers will always approach you and start asking you a billion questions and start explaining products you already been using and did research on. So you already know the product well enough so having someone else try to sale you a product that you already use is super annoying. Luckily it didn't happen in this store. Marcela greeted me and I just told her I was here for pick up. They honestly have a lot of Alani Nu's products. More than the ones in Tracy and Pleasanton and Livermore. I definitely recommend this store and it's worth a drive if you want to avoid aggressive salesmen and use/need Alani Nu's products. read more

GNC Manteca is my favorite nutritional store to shop at. The store is easily accessible, very clean, organized, and always stocked. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about health, fitness, and the products they sell. They also have 2 certified top notch 24 hour fitness personal trainers on staff (Clemente and Joey) and a National Level Men's "Physique" Competitor (Clemente)! The staff personally tries out/ uses the products themselves and knows what works best for the results you are interested in. They also have displays of products they group together of their personal recommendations for "building muscle mass, cutting down/leaning out" which make it easy to get in and get out with products that will work for your fitness/health goals if you are crunched for time. They also give out samples, or what I like to call "goodies" ; ) of the newest products to hit the shelves. GNC Manteca's staff personally cares about their customers needs and goes the extra mile to help them get to their fitness/health goals. read more

I have been to quite a few different GNC/supplement shops before, and there is just something about the Manteca shop that just feels more welcoming and genuine. I've spoken to a few different sales reps. from this store in the past and every one of them were really helpful and understood the product they were selling. Something I really appreciated is that they weren't trying to sell me something I didn't need or push me to buy the most expensive product. They knew what I needed. I'd recommend this place to anybody looking to get good priced supplements with amazing service. read more

I went here a little while ago to buy some protein powder. The store itself is clean, well maintained and well stocked. I was looking for a no carb or low carb protein powder and I was looking at the different ones and checking their nutrition facts like a normal person would do and the guy working just kept staring at me. He didn't ask me if I needed any help he just kept staring. I think that is so rude. he gave me the creeps. I asked him if there was a problem and he looked away. Once I found what I was looking for I went to pay for it and he looked at what I buying and looked at me with this weird look. Like he had some issue with what I was buying. Then he started asking me about some rewards card or something and I quickly declined to sign up because I didn't want to be in there any longer than I had to. I will not be back. Ill go somewhere else for my stuff. I order online now actually. I think thew guy working was incredibly judgmental and rude. I can spend my money elsewhere. read more

This review is especially for sales person and the store here. I bought a GNC brand supplement and asked Mariano when I was purchasing if I have any problems with product can I exchange and return. He stated yes as long as I am in 30 days return policy and have my receipt. I took the item back within 30 days with receipt and he stated he cannot return it since I used the product. He counted the pills with his hands and than stated he cannot return it this is so not right. I told him now you touched my capsules and you want me to take it back. He kept saying he cannot return it. This was totally bad customer service. I am not going back here again. Called corporate office and they told me this store is privately owned and they follow whatever rule they want. Luckily they contacted Tracy corporate store for me and arranged return. Also per count it was barely half used as count was 26 and bottle had 60 pills. Mariano does it have any knowledge as he does it know he shouldn't be touching anyone's medicines if he is not accepting return. read more

The guy/kid working their was just plain not rude I asked if they carried such and such product and instead of just saying nicely "no sorry we don't" he started saying "no I don't know what your talking about? Was in a hurry, ran by to pick up pre work out to run to gym before work. Store opens at 10. Sat in front of store until 10:15 waiting for it to open. Employee Mariano finally opens the store 15 min late. Then it takes him another 10 minutes to start up the register. All the while acting like he could care less. Horrible. If it takes 10 min to start up register you should probably get to work 15 min early not 15 min late so at 10 you should be open ready for business like the sign says read more
