Living out in No Man's Land (Central Valley) it's not as easy to find things in stores like you would living in the bay, especially health related items and supplements but Artesian Health Foods seems to have most of that covered. I often come here for my Coconut Aminos which I would otherwise have to order online and now it's my go to place for Halo Top Ice Cream too. Where I used to have to go to Whole Foods in Dublin for Halo Top this little store now stocks every single flavor unlike Whole Foods who only has the 7 original flavors which also saves me a long drive and taking a cool box shopping with me. Aside from supplements they have a good selection of snacks too, including Quest bars and a whole shelf of Gluten Free items. If you're having a hard time finding a particular supplement or health items in GNC, Rite Aid ect I highly recommend trying here. read more

I came here for much needed pain relief. I tried everything that could be prescribed that were not narcotics. Nothing helped. I came across a pain diet online that I'm following. The employee recommended the T-relief (12.99)& Curamin($22.48). I thought ,"why not I've tried everything else." After a week, I started noticing a difference in my swollen joint. I took 2-3 tablets a day and applied the cream at night, wrapped my joint with coban overnight. Finally, something was helping. It was slow going but it looked like it was working. When I bought the 2 on the left my punch card was stamped. I go back for a second box ($22.45) and a different lady said she wouldn't punch my card because it was on sale. As you can see in the pictures they are almost the same price but the box on the right is 3 cents cheaper. Is that what she calls a SALE? That's just ridiculous!!!! So, yes the product is pricey but so far it's helping. As for the lady who wouldn't punch my card and calls saving 3 cents a sale - that's why this review gets 3 stars. I'll update this in a couple weeks if/when my pain gets even better-- would love it to just go away. read more

I fell in love with this place so quick! They have such a big variety of vitamins, health foods, and products. I wanted to buy everything! I am starting a new crazy diet, and part of it is that you can't have any oils on your body, zip, zilch, nada! So in comes this health food joint, they carry this special deodorant that not only comes oil and aluminum free, but it actually leaves me stink free too (Tom's so doesn't!). There have been more and more people recently turning to alternative/natural health remedies, which makes me happy to see. This store is the place to go when you need something the day of. Yes their prices can be the same if not a bit more expensive than those sold on sites like Amazon, but if you factor in shipping costs, it's often cheaper. The staff is super nice and if they don't have something they always offer to order it or find it for you. I'm really annoyed. I went in a while ago because I was looking for dried papaya enzyme. I finally found it though was told it wouldn't do anything to help my morning sickness. The lady suggested nux vomica. She insisted it's all natural and safe for pregnancy despite it saying on the packaging to speak with a doctor before taking. I kept asking HOW it worked and she just kept repeating, "its homeopathic so it's safe." Apparently not. Nux Vomica is an ingredient in rat poison and deadly if taken too much. Thank GOD I researched online and only ever took it twice in times of desperation. Whoever helped me should NOT be recommending this to pregnant women. It's dangerous and to dismiss fears because it's "all natural" is ridiculous. It literally comes from Strychnine tree which is labeled POISONOUS. I will not be back and I will not ever trust them again. Arsenic is also all natural lady. read more

Ladies!! Spring and Summer is aalmost here...and we all want to is look good. I know I do. I have been watching what I eat, doing this crazy diet and at times I do crave a little sweet here and there, but I don't want to gain weight. This place although small, has quite a lot of things. Frozen foods, snacks, gluten free stuff (yes, gluten free..yay!!), enhancements for that sweet tooth of yours like stevia( all falvors), etc. I enjoy ice cream, and one thing it does carry is ice cream. I also got a really good veggie protein powder that is flavorless, so it keeps the natural good flavor of the power proteins shake that I make in the mornings. The store is much smaller than I was expecting, based on these reviews. Also, rather confusing to find using GPS. This is a very specialized small health foods store. The staff is knowledgeable and jump to assist customers. It had what I was looking for (powder L-glutamine) plus an array of items I would not expect to find except online. I called ahead, the staff was very quick to look for the items I wanted (not a bad idea to call ahead if you are looking for specialty). I am certainly a fan of this store. read more

I went to this store to buy some homeopathic cold meds since Whole Foods is a bit far away just for cold meds. I forgot to bring my coupon and they said that I had to go home and get it. Ridiculous! Places like Macy's don't make you go back home for your coupon. They let you use the coupon even if you don't have it with you. I hope this place goes out of business soon! read more

Fantastic little health store in Tracy! I just moved to Tracy and I'm so sad by the lack of health food stores here. I was very happy to find Artesian Health Foods. The best thing about them is they carry Organic Pastures Raw Milk! They will order it for you every week! They are very small, but they will also try to order other things for you as well and they actually have very comparable prices. I compared their prices to whole foods & Sprouts and they are cheaper or the same on most things. I do stress that this place is small so don't expect to walk into a super market, but do give it a try and talk to the employees and ask about what sorts of things they can get in for you. I love supporting local business and love not having to drive 40 minutes for my favorite organic raw products. This is a great little store! read more
