Issues such as moldy vegetables in the produce section have become increasingly common. My most recent experience was especially disappointing. I purchased 5 lbs of chicken from the meat department. The woman working there went to the back, brought out the chicken, and placed it in a brown paper bag. When I got home and began preparing it, I immediately noticed a strong foul odor. The chicken was clearly spoiled--the color had changed, and it was so deteriorated that the bones were separating from the skin. I returned to the store to address the issue, but instead of acknowledging the problem, the employee in the meat department insisted that the chicken was fresh. Food safety should never be taken lightly. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves quality control, especially in the meat and produce departments. Not returning customer

The store had fresh sugarcane juice. The highlight for us was the snack stall. We bought mixed pakoras from there. They were delicious. Service is friendly and helpful. Not too much rush when I went on a daytime on a weekday. Parking was easy. Traffic in downtown Manteca can get annoying especially when a long train goes the fairly close to this grocery and you get stuck in the flashing lights .5/5 for location , great food court with clean tables and facilities in back and carrying all the essentials needed.

Nothing compares to samosas in India but this is very close. What made my experience worse is the level of customer experience I received and the bad attitude. Anyone familiar with baked goods can easily tell the difference in texture and quality. Frankly, I would much rather pay a higher price--even $4 or $5 per loaf--for guaranteed freshness than pay $3.50 for a compromised product. Suggestion for the business: Consider moving the bread display to the customer area so guests can select their own loaves. This would eliminate transparency issues and ensure customers get exactly what they expect. I hope management addresses this quality control issue.
