Located in what seems like a rural road next to the railroad tracks in a small strip of businesses that included a tiny post office. The market is small and filled with all the essentials. I was hoping that they would have some ready-made snacks to go or baked goods, but they didn't. If you're looking for packaged noodles, lumpia wrappers, rice and most of your basic pantry items and snacks including Mama Sita and Magnolia ice cream, then you're all set. Unfortunately, the fresh vegetables that they did have was limited and were laying out on a table or in boxes on the floor and looked more wilted than fresh due to lack of refrigeration. I came in to buy some chapati with my special needs client, as I do every single week, and after being asked if I had cash, was informed that I would be charged $.50 for a purchase under $10. I told the gentleman I have never been charged that, and he said it's been policy for 2 years. I said okay that's fine, but you're the only person who has charged me that. Out of nowhere he got upset and grabbed the bag of chapati and handed me back my card and told me to get out of his store. I seriously am still sitting here in shock, not just because of how I was treated, but because I never really had a problem with the charge, I was just telling him I've never been charged that before! If this is how they treat their customers, especially customers with special needs, that is extremely sad, and shows their true character. Shame on them.
