I came in to buy some chapati with my special needs client, as I do every single week, and after being asked if I had cash, was informed that I would be charged $.50 for a purchase under $10. I told the gentleman I have never been charged that, and he said it's been policy for 2 years. I said okay that's fine, but you're the only person who has charged me that. Out of nowhere he got upset and grabbed the bag of chapati and handed me back my card and told me to get out of his store. I seriously am still sitting here in shock, not just because of how I was treated, but because I never really had a problem with the charge, I was just telling him I've never been charged that before! If this is how they treat their customers, especially customers with special needs, that is extremely sad, and shows their true character. Shame on them.

I like that I can buy smaller portions of certain cuts of meat for my family of 2 rather than having to go to the grocery store or Costco and buying that in bulk. The staff are usually very friendly at checkout. And every so often, you get something free which always makes me happy. Last free item I received was a few packs of rice paper, 1 square pack and 1 round. :) Its also great that it is directly across the street from where I work, which is super convenient! I love this market being so close and I can stop in right on my way home.

The store is large, well laid out, clean and even has food counters and dining at the entrance. It's well stocked with everything from fresh vegetables to frozen Breads & Dairy. The Meat counter located at the back of the store has a small selection at prices on par with large name grocery stores. As it's still quite new many items do not yet have prices marked up.
