We choose meals based on what we like and so far have not been disappointed. I have found in my year of making of 12+ meals a month I have been able to cut my grocery/ food bill almost in half. On those busy nights where I get home after dinner time I can pull out a meal for our family of 4, a pre-made bag of salad and have a healthy dinner ready in about 20 minutes for about $15. Compare that with buying McDonalds for a family of 4; unhealthy, still going to take 20 minutes by the time you have driven and waited in line, and probably more like $25. For me it doesn't make sense not to go.

Like, it was noticeably super weird, especially because they were being friendly to the customer before my wife, and then it was our turn and it was like a switch turned off. In the absence of any other obvious explanation, it seems like it's because my wife isn't white and the previous customer was. I'm also white, and have never had a problem here, but this interaction left me extremely uncomfortable. I see a previous review also mentions their seeming uncomfortability interacting with brown people and it doesn't look like anything has changed in that regard. Edit: I see in the not recommended reviews there's someone who had a similar experience with the same lady a few months ago. Maybe there's an innocuous explanation but the previous reviews kind of removes the benefit of the doubt so I'm going to take this interaction at face value and no longer patronize this business.

The lucque olives are not your typical briny olives that we get at the market, and the flavor was fresh and delicious. As you would expect picking a fresh olive I would imagine. We tried both the roasted garlic & herbs as well as roasted garlic & jalapeno and herbs. Both were an amazing addition. Another delicious treat was Hunter's pistachios. These are not simply dusted like you may find at the market, they really flavor them well and you can see and taste the seasonings on the shell. We tried both the mild (hatch chilis, garlic, and sage), as well as the hot (jalapeno, garlic, and sage). Both were truly amazing, although my husband preferred the hot variety as they had a nice kick. We also were able to try some pure lemon syrup. With a sweet lemony flavor, it is truly good on so many things. We enjoy it as a glaze on chicken, fish, or in tea. I will be trying it on ice cream next!!! We keep coming up with new uses all the time as we love the flavor of this syrup. I am dying to restock and try the sweetened and dipped orange and lemon slices the next time.
