I come here almost every week, even in the winter! The studio is super chic and Jen and Megan are two of the sweetest and most accommodating sprayers I know! They've rearranged, stayed late, and helped in every way imaginable to accommodate my crazy schedule and I can't thank them enough!! I have had spray tans before, and while they were OK, they were nothing I would want on my wedding day. After a little researching, I came across Golden Girl and made an appointment. My appointment was with Jenn, and she is awesome! I felt so comfortable being almost naked in front of her, and the tan turned out so pretty and natural! Even my hands and feet looked great, even though they look orange and streaky after other spray tans. My spray tan also did not rub off on my wedding dress, which is a miracle since it was 97 degrees on my wedding day! I will be recommending Golden Girl to anyone who wants to be a bronze beauty! read more

I can't agree more with the previous reviews. This is the place to go for a spray tan and Jennifer specifically. She makes an uncomfortable situation almost enjoyable. I used them for my wedding in June, but did a trial run in May due to my sensitive skin. She is very accommodating and caring. I am a believer! My entire life, I've been a sickly pale spotty skin tone and was just ready to feel all the glory that comes with a tan. I have a work event Saturday and decided to give this a whirl. Holy smokes - I understand all the fuss now! I am finally living my childhood dream of being tan (without the sun). These ladies are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I have nothing but incredibly awesome things to say about Glowout. The atmosphere is so fun and inviting, and the girls make you feel like a million. I scheduled somewhat of a last minute photo shoot for a website that I'm working on for my personal training business, and I needed as much of a one-stop-shop that I could get before the shoot, and I ended up turning to the right place. I was able to get a blowout, mani and the best spray tan that I've ever had all in one place. Oh, AND they even took the initiatiave to find a makeup artist that would come in and handle my makeup while I was getting all of the other services done as well. What?!?! The owner's husband makes literally the BEST lattes - and they are offered for FREE. Yes- I'm a dude that gets spray tanned. Jenn was great and incredibly attentive, personal, and charming. She always makes the process comfortable and far from awkward, and over the years has perfected the art of an even, natural tan. She has a gorgeous new studio in the west loop, parking is easy and finding it easy. Unless you're constantly beaching, you're bound to embrace the paste at one time or another. This is quick spray tan is a good jump start to the summer or a winter reminder of the color you once had, all without the risk of skin cancer. I'd recommend Jenn again and again. read more

I had a blow out today done by Ashley and she couldn't have been sweeter or more professional. She took her time and didn't just go through the motions (which a few other blow out places in Chicago do). If you need a spray tan, this is the place to go! Jenn is absolutely amazing and one of the most friendly and down-to-earth people I know. I've been seeing her regularly for spray tans since I moved to Chicago from Southern California last year. She always delivers a flawless, even-looking tan and makes the whole process extremely pleasant and quick. For any spray-tan virgins, there's no need to be nervous. I went to Glowout for my test run of a spray tan for my June 2016 wedding. I tried the Express tan per my technician (Katie)'s recommendation. It was perfect! I should note that this was my first ever spray tan so there was a bit of a learning curve and Katie was extremely helpful and walked me through the best practices after getting my tan. After such a great experience, I of course went back for my wedding spray tan and requested Katie again. My tan turned out perfect and looked very natural. I will definitely be returning for any future spray tan needs. Highly recommend! read more

Really easy to miss, but SO worth taking the time to find. Very friendly staff, great service, incredibly cute dog hanging out in there, and my blowout looked amazing for three days!! Just threw a little dry shampoo in it for the third day. But it stayed so smooth and shiny with just the right amount of volume. Definitely will be back! read more

I've known Jenn and Amie for years and I can't say enough good things about them! They are a one stop shop force to be reckoned with. Jenn is a spray tan and confidence building genius and Amie's talent with hair (and tanning) are above the norm. Golden Girl is a total gem. I went this past week for my first spray tan with Jenny and had a fantastic experience all around. The tan itself was impeccable - I received so many compliments and am still sporting a pretty glow 5 days and a few swims/showers later. Jenny's professionalism and happy personality put me at ease as a first timer. I have very fair skin but the tan looks super natural - no orange streaks here. The salon is bright and adorable. I got my spray tan for my wedding and could not have been happier! I had my trial with Jenn and Megan did my spray tan for my wedding. They both did such a wonderful job and left me looking with a very natural looking tan. I was very nervous about getting a spray tan and looking orange or unnatural. I almost did not get one but I am so glad that I did because it looked so good in photos. I went two days before my wedding and this was the perfect amount of time. I highly recommend this salon for your wedding tan. Jenn and Megan were so nice and made me feel calm when I was a little stressed out before my wedding. I was running a little late and feeling stressed from planning last minute details. Jenn made me a cup of tea with honey while I waited and this little gesture made my day. I had great experiences here. I have gotten express spray tans here a few times, even for a wedding. The staff is all very friendly and the salon is so cute. I only had an issue with the tan a bit on my hands one time (honestly, a super minor issue) and the girls offered to pick me up in a taxi to come to the salon and fix it. I couldn't come because I was working up north so they told me how to fix and it was great! I trust their spray tans COMPLETELY and the service is just great! I will be coming back for my next tan and can't wait to try a blowout as well. read more
