The Good- Dr. Clayton is awesome! He's professional and personable with a good sense of humor. He is thorough in his questions and exams, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. The bad- Their online booking system doesn't work, they don't return phone calls, and the front counter staff are often misinformed and rude. read more

Avoid this Clinic! I've been trying to contact them for 4 days to have a prescription refilled, finally got through today to have the receptionist tell me the prescribing doctor isn't in till next so i should wait. So apparently I'm supposed to stop taking my much needed medication and wait. I said this wouldn't work and she proceeded to sigh and give me attitude. I was here at 9:45am today, and been told to come back after 2 and a half hrs., then I went home and back here again at 12:05pm, then I've been told that I'll be next to be called, but then it's 2:40pm and I'm not getting called yet.., I'm just here for follow up,., what a terrible waiting hours!!! please be specific on time, instead of saying the waiting is 2 and a half hrs, why don't you just say waiting is 5 hours!!!!! so I can come back after 5 hrs!!!!!!!! not like this!!!!!! read more

Feeling better this morning, but - Dr Riz Somani didn't bother putting on his gloves to examine me.. in fact he didn't do much of anything.. he din't 'palpitate the area'..! Didn't take a history.. and on and on.. wth..? He din't so much as lay a hand on me.. he didn't seem to think it was anything worth worrying about.. and maybe he was right.. but you know how it is when you haven't been to a Dr. in 'ages'... and you have this other thing you would like to talk to someone about... But, this guy wasn't havin' any of it... he was confident his job was done and he was halfway out the door, 3 minutes after stepping into the exam room.......!! I called said 'Hey Doc.. there's the other thing I was wanting to ask.." but he cuts me off and says... "No, you only get one incident covered with each visit or some BS line like that..... He hands me some literature, which he does nothing to explain... read this he says "and... you can make another appointment... come back tomorrow.. goodbye..!" That AinT RighT...!! This is a nice, clean, and big medical office for all your drop-in or appointment needs. I saw Dr. Clayton and he was very nice, and caring. He seemed genuinely concerned with my situation and offered good advice, and was up to date on current treatments. There is a pharmacy right next door so you can pick up your prescriptions as soon as you are done at the clinic. I waited about 45 minutes after I showed up, which was what the front counter staff estimated for me. Not too bad for a walk-in clinic. There are magazines to read while you wait, of course. read more

A great clinic with great staff! The doctors seem current and genuinely concerned with the issues raised. This clinic seems mostly paperless, running their records in an electronic format. The office is clean and nice looking, too. read more

Im writing this review about Dr. Marianna Jacob . i went to my own family physician as i had a double ear infection and was in excruciating pain in both ears, after seeing my own doctor who was rude and dismissive to me telling me my ears are clear and i have NO ear infections but sending me home with a pain killer and more blood pressure meds because the enormous amount of pain was raising my blood pressure , the best morning when i could hear or handle the pain and naseus anymore i went to glover road walk in and was seen by docotor jacob who i explained my symptoms to she was calming kind and looked in my ears an right awayd said you have ear infections and prescribed me antibiotics orally and drops for my ears and thanks god for her or i would have been in the hospital due to the infection ! i wish there were more doctors like her who listened and got to the bottom of health issues like her not just make you feel like your being a pain in the ass and sending you off .... thanks sooo much dr jacob ! read more

Dr. Somani is a very careless and dangerous doctor. He is incompetent and is going to seriously hurt or kill somebody one day. Maybe he already has. Definitely lots of malpractice. Lots of shock and dismay regarding his practices from other doctors. Avoid him at all cost. A menace to public health. read more

Walk-in clinics are a sad result of our current medical system. I moved here 3 years ago and couldn't find a doctor, never mind a decent doctor. So I started to go to walk-ins for me and my family. I have been thoroughly impressed by the doctors and the organization at this place. Sometimes the wait is long, sometimes there is no wait. Every time I've been there, the doctor has treated me with respect, and had all the info on his computer screen. Prescriptions were written on computer and printed in seconds with no mistakes. I may not love walk-in clinics, but this place does an great job. I would have given it a 5 but I do find the front desk staff to be a bit abrupt and unfriendly. Not exactly rude, but a smile would be a nice touch. Can't have everything I guess! read more

Went in yesterday, August 5 2019. My son had dropped a 2x8 on his foot and crushed his toe. It was bleeding pretty bad and side of foot was swollen. I entered the clinic and was asked for my sons care card number. Did not have it. Was told that i had to pay before the doctor could see him. I did not have by wallet. I asked for them to look up. Receptionist said she could not. The 11 year old was in visible pain and bleeding..They turned me away. So surprised at the lack of empathy for a child with a bleeding foot. The wait room was empty btw..i will never recomend this place and would deter anyone from comming here....will read more

This is the worst walk-in clinic. I have attended this clinic for a number of years and it has steadily declined into its present piss-poor state. The staff are beyond rude and inconsiderate. They are also rather boisterous at the counter leading the rest of the waiting area to hear about whatever ailments bring you in. The last time I went in to have a prescription refilled. Fifty minutes later I was told I had been forgotten about and then told I could sit in an examination room to wait for the doctor. Another fifteen minutes passed before I left without anyone having spoke to me. The clinic is ill-run, and the staff and doctors ill-mannered. Clinic hours are never as posted as they frequently close at noon after having filled their 'patient quota' for the day. read more

I have been here twice now. I have seen Dr.Day and Dr.Somani. Both are very kind. They both listen patiently and nicely explain treatment options and answer questions. There is a wait which I was expecting because it is walkin clinic. Front desk also is pleasant. I will continue to drive from Surrey, it's worth it. read more

I really like Glover Medical! I slipped at the pool and had to get stitches in my chin, and the doctor who did them was awesome! I didn't get his name, but he was great! The minus one star is due to the wait times. It's crazy how long it takes. But, worth it for the good care. read more

Not impressed at all and I won't be going to this clinic again. Arrived and was informed it would be about a 1/2 hour wait which is pretty reasonable. However, after a 2 minute pre-screen with one of the front office staff we waited about 20 minutes before being moved into an exam room where we were left for 2 HOURS. When my fiance finally went to ask what was going on they claimed one of the doctors had removed us from the list "accidentally" which meant we'd been missed. At least three office staff had walked past our room and glanced in (after we opened the door at the 1 hour mark hoping to encourage some attention) and done nothing. The only positive was that when we finally did get to see the doctor he was apologetic (something the front office staff were absolutely NOT), pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. read more

Most staff and doctors are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. However, one doctor is a bit arrogant and you can tell it is not exactly his passion to help people. And one of the assistants is really careless. She cleaned out a chunk of wax from my mothers ear and let a lot of water drip down her neck while she was doing it. When we were outside, I noticed there was still a large chunk left. She removed it after we went back in, but left lots of smears of it all over her ear! Very messy, and not an acceptable level of care. If it wasn't for those two, the clinic would have gotten a solid 4 stars. read more

The doctors are fine but the receptionists/ nurses are awful, they speck incredibly loud even while asking personal patient questions and not to mention they also speak incredibly loud while on the phone, the nurses don't provide compassion or comfort, they are rude and obnoxious , plus they seem like they hate their job, not just glover but all Langley clinics I have been to, this is a people service , if you are not personable do not do this job . Your website shows that your hours of operation are from 6:00 am . After working until midnight clearing roads I get up at 5:30 am to to see a doctor . I show up at 5:50 am and the door says open at 8:00 am . I'm tired and miserable. Please change your website hours . Thanks read more

There is particular doctor who is useless, twice he has shown incompetence, laziness and no concern. My mother had a serious eye infection, he didn't even exam her and said told her to go to her doctor (this was on the weekend) she was in pain and he just sat on his stool. My son broke his thumb and the same doctor sat on his stool didn't even look at his hand and said and told him to go to his doctor. I am angry that my tax dollars are going to this excuse for a doctor's pay cheque, is this how they taught him to do medicine in India? read more

This medical clinic is a disaster. I brought my mother into see them she is 82 years she had a cough and a fever. The docotor attending told her she was ok go home you have a cold. Five hours later she was having convulsions from such a high fever and ended up in hospital with pneumonia near death. read more

The doctors are pretty decent however the front desk staff and nurses are always incredibly rude and always have an attitude to everyone they talk to. I've been reluctantly going here for years and it's never changed. They talk to you like you're dirt and completely below them and make you feel horrible for being there at all let alone telling them the reason for your visit. Maybe they're like this from being treated badly by patients before but it's not an excuse or appropriate to speak to people like that. read more

I didn't know my first rant today actually went through, as I waited for my test results from the Glover Road medical clinic, before my melt down comment for anyone that saw it, so I will add to that rant. Christy Clark promised every British Columbian access to a family doctor 3 years ago. But we're getting used to her promises these days. This is why walk-ins suck. I had the melt down, because as I first posted, after waiting 40 minutes to see the specific doctor at Glover Road they usher me into a private room and then tell me the doctor has left for the day. That was the straw. Here's why: The Glover Rd dr had added on to the original lab test orders from the Aldergrove Walk In clinic when I had brought them in to him before i went for the tests. Long story. Went to Aldergrove first because it was new and thought I could get my own GP from there, but to no avail, just a rushed, hurry up, one issue only, what's it gonna be and then ok I'll order these lab tests to be done. So next day went back to Glover because at least I had been there a few times and they had some files on me, and the doc there under protest, listened to my story and agreed that yes, maybe it could all be one issue and then added to the types of tests/checked off more. So then I get a call yesterday from Aldergrove Clinic saying I need to come in as the tests came back abnormal and made an appointment for today. As you can imagine my mind wandered a bit into negative territory and I was anxious to get the results. I go in and a different dr there (brother to the woman dr I saw originally) says "How can I help you"... "You called me - something about abnormal results" I said. "Oh...well, ok...let's see...ah...yes, but the results are not from tests we ordered." I explained the other dr.'s addition. "Well, only he would know why and what these tests mean. We can't do anything here. You should go back to Glover Rd." I left there and off to Glover Road I go and as I said, after waiting for the only doctor that apparently can explain the results (?), has left. When I came in with the copy of my lab tests and explained that the dr. would know what it was about, they said he was there and I explained how it had to be him and I would wait for him, and so they put me in cue for him, and then after all that, thinking I am finally getting somewhere, and I see him in passing to the private room, he leaves! And plus I am told you cannot go to two walk in clinics in one day, because MSP will not pay for it. "But he's right here. I saw him just now"... "No, he has left." (Me thinks he just doesn't want to see me and maybe he knows he should have ordered separate tests and not added on to another dr's requisition). "But I waited and was told he was here and I could see him... No, I don't want to see anyone else, because I will get the same answer I got today - I need to talk to him! This is crazy making!" The aide said 'don't take it out on me!' I said "I'm not, it's this crazy walk-in system." (By this time everyone in the waiting room is watching the 'drama') Now I am getting emotional and teary..."Can't you understand why, after being sick for a long time and going to the walk in clinics for a couple months now, that I finally might get an answer because I am told there is something abnormal in the tests and I need to talk to the dr about it and only that specific dr. and then the dr. leaves just as my time is due... why I might be upset?" The aide stormed through the station and haughtily threw my file on the counter and walked away. Yes, I kinda lost it. Thank goodness a more professional receptionist calmed me down. "Yes, I am sorry, but now he really is gone for the day. No, he's not in tomorrow but he's in Saturday and here's a card. You bring it in and it says to fast track you to him as soon as you come in." So now I will wait 'til Saturday... This has become a short novel, ... for anyone that lasted this long...Long story - short: We need more doctors that see patients full time so they can give ongoing support, know your history and can do follow up. (My doctor had a stroke and quit his practice over a year ago). A few years ago there were only a couple walk in clinics in Langley and they were open until late at night and were only for urgent care to relieve the pressure from the hospital emergency rooms. There were lots of doctors with full time practices. Now walk-ins are the norm and are everywhere, replacing many full time practices, with the drs doing some full time patients and filling the rest of their day with easy, no follow up, walk ins - give a prescription and usually close at 3:00 pm or earlier because they have filled their 'patient quota' for the day. I was told by the Aldergrove clinic that they would not order an MRI even though perhaps I needed one, because they cannot follow up on it. eek! if you are looking for concerned, empathetic, understanding or quality medical care/ advice/ referrals/ and especially if you have any important or urgent medical needs.. do not go to this place... the front desk staff are ambivalent and rude- dr is dismissive and unattentive.... go to the local vet- they will likely at least TRY to be helpful! read more

This clinic has some good people working on it and some total assholes. The nurses (with the exception of the ones that sign you in) are friendly and very helpful. The doctors are hit-and-miss. I am on hormone therapy due to low testosterone and receive an injection every two weeks. This is the clinic I go to when I can't get in to see my family doctor to get my shot. I received it there several times, and Dr. Riz Somani became apparently concerned with liability issues and asked me to bring in documentation from my specialist and family doctor before continuing. I brought in 5 pages of tests from every bodily fluid showing that I needed the injections and had been getting my regular blood tests. When I gave it to him, he asked me not to return for treatment anyway. The nurses were very confused when I asked for the remainder of my prescription back. Over the past 7 months since that happened, every other Friday I have to search Langley before work looking for somebody to give me my medication. Dr. Somani has taken one of "those days" that you just want to get over with and installed it into every other week of my life. read more
