Okay I have to update my review. I absolutely love this place but they recently added an older asian woman and the threading she did on my was awful. My usual girl does my brows PERFECTLY in 5 minutes! This woman took nearly 15 minutes and wacked off so much of my brows, make them ultra thin, and missed so many hairs I literally cried when I got to the car I was so upset. I have been a loyal customer for about a year now. I would have rated them before but I just didn't feel they were * spectacular * in any sense. The girl who usually did my eyebrows was quick and efficient, though, she was not always consistent. She knew what she was doing, no doubt. My eyebrows were always a different shape when I left from the last time she did them. That's not to say they looked bad. They always looked good and were clean (no need to even use tweezers!) and were trimmed. I went here because it was fast, cheap, and close to work. 2 days ago I went in to get my brows cleaned up. My usual girl wasn't there. I should have left. I went in after the lunch hour rush because I had planned on asking her to wash her hands before she started (why is it so hard to find a place where they WASH between touching clients faces/open pores/greasy skin?! Is is so much to ask that they follow sanitary procedures?!) and to maybe wipe my eyebrows with something to clean them before they started ripping hair out of my skin. Simple right? Well, the girl didn't understand what I was asking. So I asked if there was someone who could translate. She thought I could just wipe my face with a Kleenex with hand sanitizer. Then she suggested to clean with aloe gel and a tissue. Then she agreed to sprinkle some water on a tissue and wipe with that. Frustrated - i asked "don't you do facials here too?? surely you must have some sort of facial cleanser or something!!" She reluctantly walked into the facial room and came out and wiped down my eyebrows. Then they were threaded. Hairs left over - barely trimmed. Pretty 1/2 ass job (unlike my usual lady). Gripes I have with this place - After threading my open pores are rubbed by hot sweaty fingers - over and over. Its a nice thought but the hands are not clean! And warmth after waxing/threading is NOT what you want. I always break out after. ew. Not consistent with the shape. Whatever. My last visit - I went to the restroom after I was done with my eyebrows to wash my hands (as I always do) and I HEARD the sound of cockroaches running for their lives. Some were bold and didn't care that I was there and continued about their business on the slimy uncleaned toilet with splattermarks. There were also several smashed roached all over the floors. So - let me get this straight. You see cockroaches - smash them - and LEAVE THEM AND THEIR GUTS all over your businesses floor!? Wouldn't you - at the very least - want to clean them up and spray a line of raid? How about wash the brown and yellow grime off of the toilet and nearby walls?! This is a business you are trying to run here!! That's enough of my rant. I wont be going back. *shudders* read more

I get my full face done every so often and the last two visits have been to glory threading. My first threading of the year was Friday and I thought they did a good job, but the next day my mom told me it looked like I had pillow marks on my cheek, but it was the light shining on my cheek and the patchy threading job. It hurt a little more than usual this time and now I know why...I have little scabs all on my neck,jawline, brow bone and temples. It burns when I put on my SPF moisturizer. Glendora, Azusa, Covina we now have a reputable, and GREAT threading place! I was driving to Pasadena to be threaded, but I found this place (in the Stater Bros. shopping center) and am so extremely happy with them. I get my face done for $25! I was paying more in Pasadena. Plus one of the ladies does an amazing face massage :) This place is great, affordable, and the ladies are all very nice and do a good job. They also have a card that you can get stamped everytime you go and you end up getting the 11th threading FREE :) read more

I received a text message a few days ago letting me know how I received a free eyebrow session and then was notified again today as I signed in their iPad. I let the woman with the glasses know by showing her the coupon on my phone and as she was checking, she repeatedly told me that she didn't see anything. I ended up having to pay after showing her numerous times. She also pushed me into leaving a tip, in the end I lost $10 because they did not honor their costumers. Giving costumers a reward is a business choice and they should honor it, isn't their laws to protect their costumers in this cases? Isn't this fraud? i feel very comfortable coming here to get my eyebrow tamed and separated into two eyebrows. getting eyebrow threading isn't the easiest thing for a guy to do but the ladies here make me feel at ease and if they do make fun of me then the politely wait until have left =). but really, you can't beat the price. 8 bucks and it's fast and some of the girls who work there can thread without it even hurting. i'm glad i found this place because other than being really cheap, it's really close! read more

Would give this place a 0 star if I could! Ok I came here today for the first time. I hadn't done anything to my brows for a month so I had a good amount of hair for her to work on. Anyway the lady that did my brows did one so ridiculously thin and it even looked like chunks had been ripped out from the top and bottom. She still didn't clean it up good even If it was thinner. I told her one was thinner and all she said was "let it grow" I'm just really angry right now because my brow is really screwed up. I don't recommend this crappy place to anyone! The lady who did my eyebrows was nice. But she was having a conversation with her co-worker while doing my eyebrows and really rushed it. As a result, my eyebrows did not come out like I wanted, and she took too much off the tip of the end of my eyebrow, and I have to use pencil until it grows back. Not happy. The lady that did my eyebrows was lazy and hurt me while threading my eyebrows. She rushed and not only was it painful but gross because my whole face was splattered with plaque from her mouth! LOVE this place! The woman working was super nice and kind. She was so precise about everything which I LOVE! I can't stand it when people leave one or two hairs, it drives me crazy.
