When I arrived about 10 minutes before their 10 AM opening time, the shop was still closed, but shortly after, I saw the owner arrive and open up. I hadn't threaded my eyebrows since before COVID and had been letting them grow out, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The owner was very kind and professional. When I showed her the style I wanted, she was honest and explained that my brows weren't full enough for that exact look. Instead, she suggested a similar style that would suit my natural brows better--and I'm so glad I trusted her! She was very gentle, took her time, and made sure everything looked great. Hello! Got my eyebrows tattooed (now called shadow or ombre) here and am over the moon with the results! I feel like a new woman! Eyes are the window to the soul and mine got a tune up. Lol. Vaishali was patient, kind, and explained the process very well. She did a free consultation first to make sure the style and shape were exactly what I wanted. During the service she used numbing cream beforehand, kept checking on me and the pain, if any, and let me know how she was progressing. It took about an hour and a half total. She told me detailed instructions for after care, and what to feel and expect while I heal. You can tell she is experienced and talented at what she does and in my humble opinion, I think my brows look pretty amazing. I highly recommend her services. read more

I have been coming to get my eyebrows done here for 5 plus years and moved 2 years ago to Utah. I have not been able to find a location where I live and anytime I come to Cali for a visit I make sure to come get my eyebrows threaded here. I love that they still use masks and hold the thread around their necks and wear gloves. I cannot say enough about how I love my eyebrows after. Make an appointment or walk in very accommodating, and if you have to wait 5 minutes 15 minutes (which i have mot had to wait that long ) it is worth it. Will be coming every time I am in Cali. This place has gone downhill !! They need to get a better system. I came in today and it was empty so I asked if she can take me as a walk in after she was finished with the client she was currently taking and she said yes. Although people kept walking in with appointments she just ignored me. After 30 minutes of patiently waiting I asked when i'd be next, and she said you have to wait for the appointments first! After relocating to San Dimas, I sought a reliable threading studio and found 3 options within a 2 mile radius of my home. Opting to try this one, I was disappointed from the start. Despite being the only customer present, I received no acknowledgment until after another client left. The lack of greeting or recognition was off-putting. Moreover, although I booked an appointment for 1:35, I wasn't attended to until 1:48, while someone who arrived later with a 1:30 appointment was serviced first. The pricing discrepancy between walk-ins and appointments also felt unfair. Overall, a disappointing experience that I won't repeat. My thing is if you're going to push your customers to appointments then honor that time and book accordingly. Your pricing that's advised should be adjusted to $18 for the service and you get a discount on booking an appointment rather than advertising it for $16 and up charging walking making people feel like they are being ripped off. read more

Its hard for me to trust anyone with my eyebrows but I had to get them done. My sister is pretty much the only person I can trust. I was desperate because I had a makeup appointment to go to and had to clean my eyebrows. I was in the San Dimas area and I searched for few eyebrow threading and the Brow Shapes threading came up. I saw great reviews and some not so great, but I gave Vishali a call anyways. I went there and got my eyebrows done. She was very kind, knowledgeable and did clean my eyebrows without messing them up, basically what I had asked her to do, she did. She made some suggestions etc... This business charges more than the price that is advertised. A walk-in fee is charged if you do not make an appointment. I use to come regularly but stopped because I got ombré brows done a few years ago. A few days ago I came back again for my teenage daughter to get her brows done. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment due to the business owner now charging for a walk in fee without disclosing it prior to services being done. The advertised price for eyebrow threading is $10. Upon rendering payment, I was being charged $12. I asked why it was more than the advertised price and they told me it was due to a walk in service. They said the advertised price is for appointments only. This is unethical and dishonest due to the hidden fee. To protect consumers, the business is suppose to disclose fees verbally and/or written on the price menu. Therefore, the advertised price is misleading and I have filed a complaint to the California Department of Consumer Affairs. If you are reading my review and became a victim of this business, please file a complaint against them too. California law says that it is unlawful at the time of sale to charge an amount greater than the price that is advertised, posted, marked, displayed, or quoted. Any requirements that a buyer needs to meet to get the sale price must be conspicuously posted. read more

If I have someone else Vaishali is quick to tell them about how to thread my brows as I have a lot of baby hairs that can get missed. Very close to home so I gave Brow Shapes and Vaishali three opportunities, and each threading was successively worse. She was nice enough the first time and then quite rude thereafter. Super rushed service, even when there is no one waiting. Scheduling is online only with back-to-back appointments every 5 minutes for eyebrow threading. The owner, Vaishali doesn't take direction when threading eyebrows. She miscalculated and made a notch on my right upper brow and has permanently ruined it, as it's not growing back. No apology, no acknowledgement of her gross error. I will not be returning to Brow Shapes and certainly can't recommend Vaishali. read more
