I've lived in Stone Ridge since 2006 and sadly, I haven't ventured into Glory Days until recently. I have been here three times now with my son and his cousins. In all of those visits, I have yet to see anything that I could point out as something they can better on. Considering the busy times, food may come in a few mins. later than usual but that's just how it is. I've been very happy here and the service has been phenomenal. I am also a neighbor! I've had just about everything on the menu. My go-to is the grilled boneless wings with Old Bay seasoning. The burgers are excellent - go on Monday for those! I'm not quite sure why everyone is having such a great experience here and I'm not. Every time I have been to this GD my food order was messed up, or the hostess was rude to me, or the server was rude and/or slow. It's very rare that I have a good server and a great experience. One evening my boyfriend and I waited 45 minutes for a table when there were tables available. He is in a wheelchair; when the hostess brought us to a booth that he clearly couldn't sit in, and I kindly asked her for a table, she rolled her eyes at me as she relocated us. Take note of the reviews complaining about waiting... It's true. We came in at 6:00pm and were told the wait would be 10-15 minutes. We ended up waiting a whole hour, which we thought was ridiculous, and left to go get fast food instead. Same quality but better service. When we said we were leaving, they didn't seem to care. Kind of slow on Thursday night without football, yet just about everything was screwed up coming out of the kitchen. The Maryland crab dip, which was listed as a house specialty, was not very good with no Old Bay seasoning and topped with bread crumbs. The Prime cheeseburger came out...without cheese! The clam chowder which my wife asked to come out extra hot...came out lukewarm with no liquid, just damp clams and potatoes. Waiter apologized at every step of the way, and the managers did too when they delivered each corrected dish. That is the problem with this place...the management. We watched a waiter coming out of the kitchen eating French fries off a plate he was taking to a guest! Even though there were no less than 3 managers working, there was no managing going on. First time at glory days, originally from England loved the introduction to American grilled food. The food was awesome, but the service provided by our server Juan, was a grade above the rest. Glory days is a great place! Food is excellent. Spare ribs melt off the bone! Sirloin steak is awesome. There specialty burgers with prime beef is really tough to beat. Onion rings just great. The cooks know that when I ask for my steak to be pink and jucy in the center it is just that!!. The manager and the people there are very attentive with the customers. clean floors, tables and especially the silverware. Overall, its a great sport bar/ family restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. I know it's impossible to please "everyone" 100% of the time, but for myself, I have had nothing but excellent service and delicious food "every time". I appreciate that the server and at times the manager comes over to check that everything is Ok! Prices are average and as fair as everywhere else. Love the "huge" sports screen and that there is plenty of parking right there in front. My only pet peeve is,what no fresh Blueberry Cheesecake! GrandPa Louie read more

Back to the worst service. Never got our appetizer. Never was asked if we needed refills. Had to asks another waiter for our bill after we asked ours. When we finally did get our bill the appetizer was on the bill. The two 'managers' heard what we said and did nothing as the issues piled up. All of this on a Tuesday evening. What a cluster. Visiting from CA, I didn't know much about restaurants in the area. I was hesitated to choose GD with all the low rating on service. On 6/28/2016, I called to reserve for a large group of 11 people. The nice (young?) lady told me that GD doesn't take reservation, but she could take my name and the number of people and put us on the top of "waiting list." When we got there, there was a young man with a big smile opened the door for us. The restaurant was not very crowded on a Tuesday evening. We got our table right away. The host was very patient and helpful (sorry, I forgot her name). Waiting for the food was a little bit long, but understandable for a large group. We just sat back, talking and enjoying the nachos. The food was good and reasonably priced. When we left, the young man was there to open the door for us. We definitely will come back on our next visit to Aldie, VA. read more

I'm not understanding these average and below reviews. We've lived in Stone Ridge and enjoyed all of our dining experiences at this Glory Days for the past 7 years! The food is always quite tasty--dining in or take out. The burgers are delish, as are the crispy shrimp tacos with mango salsa. My husband loves the wings or the chicken penne with vodka cream sauce. We've never had a bad dish there. The service is great, including the management. We're very happy they are a neighborhood staple here! read more

I was disappointed with my visits to this location in the evening. The waitress on one visit there had a lack of manners and professional service, and she barely spoke English. She was rewarded with no tip. This was compounded with the fact that I asked for a burger that was "well done" and given hamburger meat that wasn't cooked on a bun. On another occasion, they've issued out dirty glasses. This was also during the evening shift, at this location. I thought it was very unprofessional that, during this visit, the staff was watching TV and hanging out at the bar. The waiter/waitress service was terrible on this occasion as well. In short, they should fire the evening shift at this location and the manager. The day shift provides a much better service to customers. I was disappointed that the manager of this location doesn't make their rounds and greet their customers. Glory Days has not lived up to their franchise reputation at this location. read more

Glory Days in Stone Ridge is the definition of a great neighborhood restaurant/bar. The food is always good, servers are always nice and responsive, Kat the GM is incredible, and the beer is cold! We also look forward to the change in menu every few months. What makes Glory Days extra special is their support of the Dulles South area. They give back to numerous groups through their Dining for Dollars program, direct sponsorships, and hosting special events/fundraisers for community-based groups and causes. My 5 year old daughter ordered chicken noodle soup. The manager brought it over (without a spoon) and did NOT warn us that it was extra hot. My daughter spilled it and burned herself. I understand soup is supposed to be hot, however, you are supposed to inform your customer if something is extra hot (i.e. plate, food) We even overheard the server who was serving the table next to us tell his customer to be careful because their plate was hot. To make matters worst, the manager lied in front of our faces and said that he did inform us that it was hot. HE DID NOT SAY A WORD TO US. Secondly, he said he placed the soup in the middle of the table. Another lie. When he brought the soup over, he even asked me who it was for. I clearly told him it was for my daughter, which he then proceeded to place the soup in front of her. Last, but not least, he had a discrete attitude throughout the entire time that we were talking to him. He offered to pay for our tab in which we declined.
