This place completely exceeded any expectations. In a time of delivery where everyone has accepted that everything will be cold or soggy by the time it gets to them, we were so pleasantly surprised with glory days. I ordered chicken and waffles and now I want it everyday. The waffle basically tasted like a doughnut and, with its maple syrup, it was a maple donut. The chicken strips it came with were the perfect pairing. I was a dummy and accidentally ordered the wrong fries and they STILL sent us a gift certificate so we could try the fancy ones next time. After being told we couldn't eat at 2 other restaurants late at night we called glory days to make sure they would take us. They did and the experience was amazing! Our server was amazing! Happy to serve us even at 12am! We had a party of 9 and she killed it. The 6 dollar margs sealed it for us! From the drinks to dinner everything was amazing. We've had some pretty crap experiences from glory days and always swore we wouldn't come back. But when it's the last resort and the best experience we will absolutely be back! Seven of us had the worst experience at lunch today. The restaurant was not packed by any means. After we were seated, no one came near us for 30-40 minutes. Not even a glass of water. When one of our party went to find our waitress, she said she thought someone else was helping us. People who came in after us ordered, got their food and left - we were still waiting. Our food finally came after 40 minute wait - everything was cold. When we asked to speak to the manager, he didn't want to come out of the back room. We finally left without eating or paying. Y'all. Our waitress was amazing but... the food here is TERRIBLE. We ordered the Buffalo chicken dip and it literally came with Fritos. Like from a bag. The dip also looked like puke. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, cooked medium, it literally tasted like the burgers you would get from the school cafeteria. My side Caesar salad was also spicy??? As a service industry member of 10 + years, I knew my first visit when the food was awesome and the drinks were strong, i should give this place another try. Thank GOD I did. Olivia N was TERRIBLE, our table Of 5 was seated before a table of 2 that was seated AND served beverages before we even met Olivia. Once she finally introduced herself and took our beverage order it took another 10-15 minutes before we saw our drinks. My pregnant sister had ordered Buffalo cauliflower that never showed up and the server actually argued with the fact of if we had ordered it. Once I stopped a server that was in another section to grab my server for me so that I could order more drinks, I realized how attentive that server was. I asked her name on my way out and tried her section next time I went in with my family and she was amazing. This is a new location and they're still working the kinks out of their service with all that is currently going on. But we had a terrific meal from them. We ordered a couple of hamburgers, the first was the Bacon Cheddar Burger with Sweet Potato fries and both items were so good my wife finished it off. With the exception of not having them place the containers of Ketchup, Mustard, and Mayo, it was pretty good. I ordered the Burger Blue which is supposed to be (Topped with Blue Cheese crumbles, balsamic drizzle, caramelized onions and blue cheese dressing), there was a small amount of bleu cheese crumbles and I'm not sure where the Blue Cheese Dressing was? I even asked when I ordered for them to add extra on both. Blue cheese is one of those items that restaurants never want to over add for fear the customer is going to refuse it, but when a customer specifically asks for it, than it should be 'All bets are off' and load it up. We'll definitely be going back, we needed a good hamburger restaurant in the area, but they've got an extensive menu so we'll be experimenting as well. read more

So my wife & me took our post-COVID selves to this bar that just opened about two weeks ago. They are following applicable COVID protocols but the real reason we ate on the patio in February is because Florida :). This place advertises Happy Hour as all times for 6 bucks so my wife had the ginormous island coconut concoction & then moved onto the equally ginormous Sangria. She enjoyed them both. For an appetizer we had the (not quite so) Bang-Bang shrimp that was delicious. My main course was the pulled pork AND ribs & my wife had chicken & waffles. Again because Florida, the portions are ginormous. We'll be eating leftovers for 3 days. I have to say that the (other) white meat was good but not slap yo mama good. Frankly, the sauce was prepared in such a way as to be not offensive. I'm not saying it was residious, but you will have forgotten what it tastes like by the time you get back to your car. My wife's waffles were of the carnival variety & if you like them prepared that way, you will find them delicious. The cole slaw & baked beans sides are not to be mentioned ever again. Having said all that, the reason I give this place 4-stars is the overall ambience. Frankly, just like those giant birds here that you can't run over with your car, grills like this place are everywhere here in Florida. This place is trendy & friendly but it still has heart. The wait staff is super attentive, the prices are pretty reasonable considering the giant portions you get, & there are TV's everywhere. Next year when the Falcons are running all over Tompa Bay, this place is gonna be rocking. We came to Glory Days with friends who live in the area. The Glory Days by my house doesn't have stellar Yelp reviews, and we have been a bit put off from trying it for that reason. This location on the other hand, was awesome - it could be because they are relatively new. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which came with strawberries and powdered sugar - they were the best chicken and waffles I had in a while. The waffles were sweet and not dry at all, as if they were infused with syrup already. Chicken was WELL SEASONED and there were multiple pieces. I also got a Caesar salad, and I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful it was presented and the tastiness (I am a Caesar salad snob). My girlfriend got a burger cooked medium, she is it was bomb. Appetizers included Wannabe Shrimp which is basically your standard restaurant bang bang shrimp, but the shrimp was nicely sized and the portion was adequate for three people. The slam dunk pretzel appetizer was also surprisingly good - I'm not a pretzel fan by any means but I enjoyed it. Overall, this experience makes me want to try the Glory Days near our house! Ordered here from Uber Eats because I'd heard such great things from my friends who have dined in, picked up, and ordered delivery. While the food was OK, the 8oz filet was almost half the weight advertised. You don't lose half the weight when cooking filet. The parmesan fries had only a couple of thin, small slices of parmesan. When I posted a DM to their FB page, they offered apologies and a certificate to dine in - that never arrived. Hint for Customer Service - follow through on your promises to "make it right." I am so glad that we have another sit down restaurant in the Big Bend area in Riverview. The food here is awesome! The food deserves 5 stars, but their Victory Club is very lacking, that is why I am only giving them 4 stars. I have dined there four times, but only received points from one time. The Monday specials are awesome. I love their Buffalo Chicken sandwich, you can get the chicken tossed in any of the 8 wing sauces. I love the Glory BBQ sauce and the Buffaque sauce. I also like to substitute the coleslaw for their fries. The food is always hot and the chicken breast is very large and always super tender. One last thing, they really should filter their water as it does not taste good at all if you get water to drink. I will definitely keep going back on Mondays for their awesome specials. read more
