The work was mediocre honestly I could have gotten this cheaper somewhere else. We talk about how she is going to fix it and I pay her THAT same day in cash and hand over my garments. She wrote everything on a piece of paper and gave me a yellow receipt as proof. All is fine and dandy then. Little did I not know... So I come in about a week later to pick up my stuff and try it on. I literally have to go to work right then. She gives me my stuff, I give her the yellow receipt as proof that I paid. For some reason she still thinks I didn't pay her because I leave the store with my clothes and at work I get a long text from her saying SHE doesn't remember I paid THAT day and she forgot to stamp it. She texts me a really long paragraph insisting that she didn't get my payment. Lady I remember quite clearly I paid you that same day. She probably lost my money because she put it in a white envelope or some sort. She even gave me change back! I know I may look 16 but I am 26 and she is not doing me any hugeee favor by bagging my clothing in a plastic wrap and letting me go while wishing me a "happy birthday" OMG thank you so much for doing what you're suppose to do in the first place which is customer service. Overall this was a weird, awkward, and infuriating experience. I probably will just go somewhere else next time.

Spent $325 to alter 6 dresses and 1 skirt to smaller sizes. Expensive but thought it was worth it…read moreto be able to wear some of my favorite pieces again. Unfortunately I had to come back twice as two items were incorrect at time of pick up. One dress failed to be shorten and another was still too big. When I returned a week later to pick up the two dresses, one was cutting into my armpit so tightly and had gaps on the chest. The only way it fit comfortably is if my arms are all the way behind my back. Otherwise it digs so deeply into the armpit that it hurts. I was told that due to how large the dress was originally, there was nothing that could be done about the ill fit in the armpit/chest area and just pull it down more. Gave no solution to fix. As experts in the alteration field, they should be clear on what can and can't be done with certain garments. I obviously would not have paid to alter a garment if I'd known it wouldn't fit properly. Unfortunately it is completely unwearable with the chest gaps and extremely tight armpit. Essentially I threw away $46 on that.
