They don't sell anything but just alterations. I used to go to Lily's Alteration until it gave me a bad taste when Yammy Street opened few years ago. Axiu's shop has roomier changing room than Lily's and spacious showroom for brides to try out their gowns. That's a big plus compared to Lily's cramped space and full of clothes for sale. This place is bright, brighter than all other seamstress shops I have been to. Lighting is important for her and for customers. I was examining the sewing pattern on my yoga pants to make sure the thread color matching. Wow. I couldn't even see this was altered. She speaks Mandarin to me. I don't know how fluent with English. She works hard as she is there everyday 10 am to 7 pm. My order was ready next day.

Polo Tailors and Cleaners did a beautiful job removing the blood stains and steaming out the old seam lines, as well as ironing out wrinkles in the dress. Also, they charged me a reasonable price, less than I was quoted at other reputable spots. As soon as we were home from the Hill Country wedding, I came back to entrust the post-wedding cleaning to Hoa at Polo Tailors and Cleaners. The wedding day had been drizzly, and the hem and train of the dress were muddy. Hoa, who had helped me so well the first time, got out the mud stains. She also declined to charge me extra for the mud stains. I have not yet had a chance to use their services for alterations, but I was able to watch them measure another client who wanted to have a suit taken in. They then tell you that other people have the same issue but they were patient enough to wait 3WEEKS to get it done. They will not pay you for the clothes value that they ruined, only the service they charged. After coming here for years and having several issues with them like making holes on some of our items, or even leaving stains on them, they have reached the limit with this. And just FYI they kept my clothes for almost a week to "fix" the issue. After trying to pick them up twice, I decided to just take them as they are and took the money back for the service. But now I need to see to fix the items myself or once again have to buy them. DON'T come here. The owners are rude and will not help when problems like this happen. I laugh about it now, but she went as far as to call me ugly for telling her that this was too much and I find it unfair to not take responsibility for the ruined clothes. Horrible service.

Once I got to the car I showed my friend the ao dai and noticed how the their were oil stains and fabric was damaged. I called the let them know right away and was told to bring it in for them to take a look. I brought it back in and the mom looked at it and apologized and assured me that it would be fixed. Since the wedding was coming up the following weekend I let her know that I was worried it coudn't be fixed in time that if it was still like that and I was unhappy I will not take it. She said don't worry I'll take care of it for you. When I came back to pick it up the fabric was still damaged, I let her know and she told me that the ao dai had already been modeled for show and would not be perfect and that she coudn't do anything for me since it had already adjusted to my fitting that no one else would fit it and she wouldn't be able to sell it to anyone. Why was this not told to me when I brought it back but was told it would be taken care of not to worry! Oh I also txt Danny to let him know and he was out of the country and said to go to the store and his mom would take care of it. When I brought it back he was there and was aware of what was going on. The day I came back to pick up the ao dai and was still disappointed he didn't even bother to talk to me and let his mom deal with it. I txt him after the wedding was done asking if he could do anything for me but no response and he just ignored my txt. This is my first and last time going to them...wil never come back and do not recommend them at all!!! Hw could he call himself a designer and allow someone to wear something knowing it was damaged.
