I can't get enough of this place's frozen coffees! Their mocha cookie crumble is the best!

A cute convenient cafe. The coffee isn't strong enough for me. The employees are always pleasant and work hard.

Admittedly, I didn't read the reviews before coming to this Starbucks. If I had, I'd have probably…read morestayed clear entirely. So, for once I am glad that I did not read the reviews! I drove through, so I can't speak to how the inside of this Starbucks is. I had an excellent, speedy drive through experience. I ordered a tall iced oat milk latte and it was great (highly recommend oat milk as a non-dairy substitute!) I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly! I'd come here again.

This location used to be great, but unfortunately, it's gone downhill quite a bit over the past…read moreyear. The new store manager often comes across as rude and unfriendly, and basic customer service seems to be an afterthought. A simple "thank you" or "sorry" is apparently too much to ask. One of my biggest frustrations is how employees constantly slam the ice bin lids, often so loudly it's physically painful. I've brought this up with employees, management, and even the district manager, yet it continues. At this point, it's hard not to feel like it's intentional. The bigger issue is that this location just doesn't seem to care about its customers anymore. It feels like everything revolves around the employees and what they want, with little consideration for the people paying to be there. There are still a few genuinely great employees, and I appreciate them. But as someone who visits every morning, it's disappointing to see how far this place has fallen. I'd recommend visiting another Starbucks nearby. Hopefully things improve, but I'm not holding my breath.

Since I was back in the area for few days, I decided to go back to SAP as it's one of the few…read moreplaces in town that is farm to table. My experience this time around was a little bit more of a let down hence why I had to take one star off. When I went few months ago, I had burnt coffee which I chalked it up as a one time error. But it happened again with this visit, so that told me they don't really pay much attention to their coffee yet they have a whole menu dedicated to coffee. I also made a reservation on a Sunday knowing it fills up quick and that it might be hard to get a table, however, it was an hour and half before they close which means they tend to slow down around that time. Also, when making a reservation, it'll ask you if you want bar, dining area or patio. I chose dining area. Yet they called me an half hour before to see if I wanted to sit at the bar, which I told them twice in person I do not want to, and as a result the hostess gave me the annoyed/judgmental look down when I wasn't looking. As someone who has owned a family restaurant business for 30 years, that's a big no-no in terms of customer service. It's just rude and unnecessary. Also, they kind of really try to get customers out by 2, which is when they close. By standard at most restaurants, they need an extra hour after closing for customers to take their time with their meals rather than rushing through it, especially if you will sit them 20 minutes before closing time. I felt rushed, and I don't like that feeling at a place I'm trying to enjoy my meal. Would I come back here? Absolutely yes because their food is really the best for brunch in the area and it's cleaner. It just shouldn't be an excuse with certain things like what I mentioned above. P.S. if chicken and waffles happens to be one of the specials, get it. It's by far the best dish I've ever tried there and also my top 3 chicken & waffles that I've tried anywhere. SO GOOD!

ACOCA Cafe & Roastery -- Apparently Appleton got hipster while I was gone…read more Came back to my old stomping grounds for HS reunion week and somehow ended up having one of the most interesting breakfasts of the trip. ACOCA immediately gives off that independent coffeehouse/artsy/creative energy you don't necessarily expect when you're remembering the Appleton of your younger days. We all ordered the Bagels & Lox with salad, and I'm not gonna lie ~ that plate looked damn good. Fresh lox, colorful veggies, pickled onions, greens and an everything bagel. Add some quality coffee and you've got yourself a pretty solid morning. The space was spotless, the service was friendly, the drinks were good and the atmosphere was genuinely cool. But let's talk $$$. This was the priciest morning meal we had in Appleton, and one person in our group felt the price was a little high considering you have to put the sandwich together yourself, and only one of us was given a small ramekin of salad dressing accompanying our meal. Also we wish the bagel was slightly toasted instead of just a sliced everthing bagel. Still, I'd rather pay a little more occasionally for a place with personality than eat somewhere completely forgettable. ACOCA definitely has personality. Would I return? Absolutely!!! This is more my vibe for morning eats & cold/hot brew (Coffee/tea) that is Brews. Views. Food. Sometimes the journey takes you somewhere that doesn't involve beer.

I'm on a work trip and when I arrived the first stop had to be coffee. I love a good local coffee…read moreshop, so I chose Copper Rock. I first went to the downtown location, super unique location, with tall brick walls, spaced out seating and an additional room to the side. The barista was really friendly with a good recommendation of their pumpkin spice latte, I also bought a scone to pair. The coffee was excellent! It had just the right amount of flavor without making the latte too sweet. The scone, fantastic as well! It wasn't too dry, the blueberries tasted fresh baked in and the size was a perfect snack. I had such a good experience that I had to go again this morning. This time, a different location but to my surprise this one had the convenience of a drive thru! Again the staff were extremely nice. I ordered the salted caramel mocha, with a few modifications and usually I get scoffed at for being "picky" although I ask before making the changes, but the barista was super patient. A great size and a low price. They asked me to pull up to the curb as I waited for my food, but the wait was only around 2-3 minutes. I also ordered the southwest Turkey sandwich and wow, this place is added on my top breakfast sandwich places list! Make this coffee company a "Must Stop To" the next time you're in the area!
