Decent, normal Starbucks. Like so many other Starbucks like this, it shares a wall and parking area with a cell phone store, and boasts a charmless outdoor seating area. I was meeting a friend here because neither one of us live in the area anymore and a search for a coffee spot out of the downtown area popped this one up convenient to where each of us was going to be. It is a Starbucks. You know what to expect from the menu, you generally know what you are going to get. It all comes down to service and cleanliness. It was a Friday morning, so it was a bit busy. Service was good, but it means the tables/normal mess were a bit ignored. Overall, it was just fine. It's Starbucks -- you're probably wondering, how can they be that different? Well, it comes down to the details, and this location just doesn't do them well. For starters, the parking lot is a disaster. The drive-thru line backs up around the building, making it very difficult to park, and even harder to get out (it's a one way lot, so you have to somehow get past that line to get out, or back out the wrong way from an angled space and go out the entrance). Plus, they seem to give the drive-thru orders priority, as I always seem to wait about forever for my order inside. I get it, they do it in the order they come in, but if I'm the only customer at the counter and I'm just waiting and waiting, well, I get annoyed. Also, the last time I ordered my standard "tall iced coffee with milk and one Splenda," the cashier proceeded to grill me about it -- what kind of milk (don't care), did I want the "classic" or the, uh, something else? I've always ordered exactly that and never gotten any questions, so when he started telling me that they usually put syrup in it (??), I got super confused and he couldn't really clarify what was going on. Finally, I recently received a gold card in the mail, which mostly just confused the heck out of me. When I presented my regular card and my gold card at the register and asked how to have just one card, they did...something...that, when I got home and looked online (which, to be fair, I should have done in the first place), was not at all what they should have done. If they needed to tell me to just go online and do it myself, why didn't they do that? So, while to some extent a Starbucks is a Starbucks, this is not one of the better ones. read more

My friend sells personalized Starbucks cups on Etsy. We went to this Starbucks so she was able to buy some of the limited edition cups for her shop. We both are huge fans of Starbucks and get a drink from there at least once a day. We called earlier to put the cups on hold, when we got there, the barista who helped us was a total snob. Her name is Carol. Apparently when you purchase a reusable cup, the straws are separate. So if you want a straw, you have to pay an extra fee otherwise you will be drinking out of a little hole in the middle of the lid. Carol was such a cranky barista and super rude to us over straws. She made it seem like a favor when she ended up giving us the straws for free. Thank you Carol, for the straws that will help us drink out of the cup. read more

As far as service and coffee go, this Starbucks is like any other. However, their parking lot is an ATROCITY! Good luck parking here, and good luck getting from your car into the store and back without being run down by an idiot in an Escalade barreling out of the drive-through. read more

To start, I am not a Starbucks fan at all. However, this particular location is apparently very well run and outstanding among Starbucks. I only use the drive thru, which is always extremely fast even when the long line looks like a deterrent. The service at the window has been consistently awesome, props to the great staff there. My drinks have always been perfect. Thank you for doing it right! Too bad all SB's aren't like this! read more
