Sunday morning at 9a. Notany customers so we were able to find a table with street views. They do not have a full breakfast or lunch menu. You can get bagels or muffins with cheese, egge, ham or bacon, quiche, veggies & hummus, and BLT. There are some baked goods made from scratch and ice creams to your fancy. The coofee, in my opinion, is way better than their food. They also carry one of my favorite beans from Ruby. They also just added wine and beer to their menu since my last visit a few years ago. Seth's ciffee also has a drive thru in Appleton, which I visit regularly. Both locations accept donations for pay-it-forward "Suspended Coifee" for those in need. Great idea! read more

I must say, the coffee is exceptionally good. It beats out the big major franchise that we normally see on every corner in the U.S. (there's no need for me to name it). Far and away my favorite coffee shop in the Appleton area. Roasts come weekly from Intelligentsia in Chicago and are made to order--press, chemex, pour-over or siphon--pick your poison. The basked-goods are astounding, oversized, and creative. I could go here every weekend and not get sick of it. My only complaint is that the internet is a little slow/weak. Given our attachment to our screens, maybe this isn't so bad. Bring a 1,000 page novel and sit and relax. Did I mention the craft beer and wine? And sandwiches (which, admittedly, I have not sampled)? Seth's is a terrific place to wile away an afternoon. read more

This is a cute local coffee shop that sells excellent bean. That's my usual order...just a bag of beans. If you haven't had Intelligentsia coffee be sure to give it a try. I'm usually in and out. Today I ran in for two pumpkin pie lattes. My husband was waiting for me outside. We were going to take the delicious lattes on a hike with our dogs. Took long. Two girls made the drinks. Handed them off to me and I was out the door. Once sipping in the car it was obvious I got no pumpkin pie anything. $10.50 for some espresso with milk. Took two girls too miss the key ingredients. The coffee is decent--Sure I have had better but I've definitely had worse! The scones look amazing so I'm going to have to try one next time! I went for the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and I wasn't disappointed. Good enough to bring me back again. It's spacious compared to most coffee shops, almost too spacious if you like a cozy nook. This is my daughter's discovery. I guess sometimes teenagers DO know whats going on... Seth's is a treasure of a place, tucked away in a small town near where we live. It feels very "big city" in here. The decor is very old-dimestore mixed with steel and chrome. The owners display local art and textiles in this high-ceilinged space. Customers can choose from a delectable mix of freshly ground-by-the-cup Intelligentsia coffees, specialty coffees and teas and compliment them with something delish from the menu, like cookies or chips and hummus(my fav). Seth's also offers Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, just in case you needed more to drool over. You will always see a great mix of people here, from artists and musicians to students and elderly folk enjoying a cup of brew. I can't wait for nice weather so we can bike to the shop. read more

I stopped by this past weekend, surprised and happy to find this little gem tucked away on a main drag in Little Chute. The cafe was spacious and there was a variety of artwork and seating available. It wasn't the coziest cafe, but that's not a requirement in my book--it had more of an industrial or minimalist vibe without being overly cold. The latte I ordered was good and the bakery items all looked really good. It was hard to decide what to get! Having a location providing such good quality coffees in such a small town is a big asset. The service is awfully slow (I was the only person in line, ordered 3 bakery items and a drip coffee and it took over 15 minutes) while, at the same time, they did not disclose in their fine print that bulk coffee was not available for their LivingSocial deal, which was the only reason I purchased the deal. The cinnamon scone was decent. The oatmeal cookies was dry, unflavorful and too thick. The chocolate chip cookie was acceptable, but not great, also somewhat dry. The cinnamon roll was good, not cinnabon good, but better than the cookies. There are better coffee shops, with better coffee and much better customer service. Go somewhere else, Kaukauna Coffee and Tea is nearby, and it is much better. read more
