And the French toast are always the best! So fluffy and rich with the jam and cream cheese. The cajeta is to die for. The service is always the best when I go, kind servers and always friendly. It's such a cozy space.

A few facts: Parking is on the street. It doesn't open until 8 AM. The menu isn't huge. The decor is simple but nice. The music is similar to what you hear on most elevator rides. The Experience: We grabbed a seat in the mostly empty restaurant. We got our drinks and ordered. Our waitress was nice and was attentive to refilling my coffee cup. We ate and drank at a leisurely pace, never feeling rushed. The Food: my dining partner said their waffle and side of bacon were good. I enjoyed my short rib breakfast burrito. It was generous in size, appropriately hot and had good flavor. My fried potatoes were very good. I enjoyed their coffee. The rub: I asked for fried onions with my potatoes. I was informed it would be an upcharge. Onions upcharged? Conclusion: Not bad. A tad bit expensive but not crazy. Would I go back? Not saying I wouldn't but probably just to try something off their regular menu.

Outside has ample seating for the nice warm days with friends. In winter there is a really cool little ice rink and outdoor fireplace. Such a great addition to the small city downtown shopping and dining area. The coffee shop has a nice selection of hot and cold drinks with a limited breakfast and lunch menu. I tired the avocado toast and thought it was very fresh and tasty. Definitely a great destination for lunch or coffee with friends. Unfortunately it was still a little too cold to sit outside this morning... so the inside seating was hard to find.

I was given the "lame" excuse that it was easier on the employees to not have to make change and it reduces employee theft??!! Well that comes down to a management issue and simply training the employees correctly=lazy mgmt. #2 it's a hike and a complete hassel to park and walk there. #3 the prices! A medium medium 16 oz iced latte is pennies short of $7! More expensive than Starbucks.......they should be BELOW $$ Starbucks for no drive up, and Starbucks takes good old USA currency$$
