I visited inside on 11/20 in the evening. I had a Sugar Cookie Latte and they answered all my questions due to dietary restrictions knowledgably. The crew working that night were wonderful, making sure that everyone's order was correct. There was a massive rush of people with mobile orders, inside orders, and the drive through was around the building. These poor folks were super short staffed, only two workers when I came in. Despite a slew of crabby people, they were kind and did everything they could to speed up orders. Kudos to the night shift from the 20th and management, please put more workers on! Tried ordering at drive thru. The person taking our order interrupted, didn't listen to us, did not confirm our order and sent us on. When we arrived at the window to pick up our order and it was wrong. Instead of letting us explain what happened we were scolded and told to go back in line and order again. She wouldn't even let us pay for the one drink they had made or offer to correct the mistake. We immediately drove to the Starbucks on College and Bluemound where we received excellent service (a little comedy routine ;) and a very pleasant conversation) in less time than it would have taken to reorder our drinks. I visited this store today around 11:15AM, I went inside to order. My daughter just turned 9 and wanted to spend her birthday money at Starbucks, this was her first time ever. She ordered a birthday cake - cake pop and a pumpkin spice latte. She received the cake pop right away but the pumpkin spice latte took forever. Multiple people came in after us and received orders before us, I finally inquired after 20 minutes and was told we would be next. It took 10 more minutes to finally receive the 1 drink we ordered. First and last time visiting. It wasn't even that busy there was only 4 people in front of us and they had already ordered and were waiting for their drinks when we walked in. Very disappointed birthday girl. 30 minute wait for one drink is absolutely unacceptable, car after car came and went in the drive through line while we sat there and waited. So disappointed that she spent her birthday money on an overpriced drink and had this experience. read more

Admittedly, I didn't read the reviews before coming to this Starbucks. If I had, I'd have probably stayed clear entirely. So, for once I am glad that I did not read the reviews! I drove through, so I can't speak to how the inside of this Starbucks is. I had an excellent, speedy drive through experience. I ordered a tall iced oat milk latte and it was great (highly recommend oat milk as a non-dairy substitute!) I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly! I'd come here again. read more

This location is thoroughly notorious for their horrendous customer service (rude, unprofessional, argumentative), wait times (even with only two cars total at drive-thru), incorrect orders (why is it repeated back correctly as iced venti yet still they hand over a hot grande??), and trash parking lot. read more

Stopped by there in the morning, 6:45 am, there's a sign on the drive thru that says the camera is out so please say "Hello". Said hello 6 times, no response so I pulled up the window and waited another 5 minutes. Associates inside moving around, never acknowledged me. Saw a customer behind me saying hello as well with no response. I left and called them to let them know they had some customers waiting. Their response was that they got in late today and weren't quite open yet. Maybe update your sign then so customers aren't saying "hello" for 5 minutes? It just came across unprofessional, this location seems to be going downhill with this and past experiences. read more

I'm in Appleton a couple times a weeks and is located right off highway 41 and near the mall. The location is convenient for me, especially if I need to kill some time and get some work done. I like the layout here as the have a square area with several tables. It's easy to take a table for yourself, or if you have a bigger group, move the tables together. A lot of coffeeshops don't have the space to do that. If you want to stay away from people there are high tables along the another wall. Never had issues with the service as I'm a simple guy and only get tea. When I'm doing work there, it can get annoying as the staff are pretty chatty with each other when there's not much to do, and sometimes it gets a little loud. read more

Yesterday the drive through took 28 minutes. Today 26 minutes. Both days our drinks were awful. Go to a different location or place.

This, by far, was the best service I have received. After ordering a nice hot drink and getting back out to our van, it seemed I was on my way. While stopping to get gas I offered my drink up to my wife to try. A moment later, the cup slipped from her hand - and was all over the floor of our vehicle. Now, I was about to admit defeat, and just let the spill be and drive home. But I needed my coffee that day. So we headed back to the Starbucks. I was asked 'would you like another?' to which I replied, 'I would, the other one ended up on the floor of our van.' At this point, I was not happy to be getting ANOTHER cup and having to pay for another - but to my surprise, the piping hot cup of coffee was refilled - at no charge. This Starbucks location is the slowest place on earth. I timed the moment I pulled into line until I received my drink and it was 39 minutes. Yes, 39 minutes of my life that I will never get back. This will be the last time that I visit this location. They either need more training, more help, or both. read more

I frequent Starbucks often because I appreciate the consistent service and product. In the 6-7 times I have stopped here while in Appleton, the only thing consistent is the slow and inaccurate service. It doesn't matter if I go through the drive through or into the storeI always spend an abnormally long time waiting for my order...disappointed read more

Was thinking maybe I should just give this Starbucks another try after last time of bad experience. Definitely not a welcoming Starbucks. Baristas are not so friendly. It took a while to just get my iced coffee. Nobody was in line except drive through, which means they gave their all attention to the drive through. I understand it's a busy location with the mall. Smallish store that needs a bit of an upgrade. We stopped on our way out of town and when my sister wanted a toasted bagel was told they didn't have a toaster...so why sell bagels? We were told they were getting an oven soon and would have more breakfast offerings. Best Starbucks I've been to! Baristas are very nice and welcoming, sometimes it's quite busy being next to a highway and the mall, especially during the holidays but the baristas always seem to stay positive and keep moving! They pay attention to details of your orders & make you feel very welcomed. Keep up the good work! read more
