Very honest company. Today I was trying to remove a light vent in the bathroom to clear out the dust. I accidentally tugged on the light connection and got loose. I had been experiencing random outlet outages throughout my house and wasn't sure what was causing the issue. It became an emergency when the outlet powering my washer and dryer went out, so I sent a few requests out to Yelp. Harout responded immediately (this was close to midnight/1am on a Saturday night). We needed to replace 6 bathroom exhaust fans in our house. I asked for quotes on Yelp and Harout responded promptly with the best price and also promised to repair any drywall damage, though he stressed that he would do his best to avoid any damage. He was also able to procure the materials for us at his discounted pro rate and didn't upcharge us on it. Given the good reviews, we decided to give him a try. He was excellent and highly recommended. He was able to come out the next day. We asked him how long it would take and he said it would take him a whole day. We had a hard stop in the afternoon so he volunteered to come out early in the morning, work as fast as he can, and come back out another day if he couldn't finish. He did an excellent job replacing all 6 and was able to be done by noon (5 hours total) without any drywall damage at all. He also cleaned up every room and took all trash away. He was very engaging and nice and explained to us everything he was doing as well as show us how great the new fans were with a demo. All in all, we are very happy with what he was able to accomplish and his pricing. When you're looking for any type of home service, you care about getting quality job done at a fair price. Globecast Electrical Services replaced 11 can lights in my house. They also replaced two bathroom fan lights, rewired some switches, and changed an outlet. Everything was done well and at a good price. They were able to identify and fix the typical issues that you find in an old house to bring everything up to code. They even identified some framing issues with the attic joists while they were working, and they fixed them! Communication was great, and they were able to work around a very tight schedule, even when that meant showing up at 5:30am to get the job done before the other contractors arrived! Harout is absolutely wonderful. This is the second time he's done electrical work for me. My son-in-law attempted to replace a 22 year-old ceiling fan for me, but for some reason it wasn't sitting flush with the ceiling and it wouldn't turn on. Harout to the rescue! He discovered that the old fan had been installed using an existing light fixture box--not a ceiling fan box, as required by code. So he cut the hole in the celling a bit larger, installed a very impressive-looking support bar in the ceiling void, repaired some funky electrical wiring, and even cleaned my son-in-law's dirty hand prints from the ceiling before re-installing the fan! He swapped out the wall switch that controlled the old fan with the new Kichler wall control panel. He worked very quickly and cleanly, laying a furniture pad on the hardwood floor to prevent ladder scratches. Then when he realized he's have to cut drywall, he spread plastic sheeting to catch any debris--and there was a lot of debris, so good call, Harout! He also taped a plastic bag to the wall just below the wall switch to catch any debris from that. When it was all finished, he explained how to operate the fan, talking me through all the buttons on the wall switch and making sure I knew how to dim the light, etc. He told me to run it on low for 24 hours to help gently break in the motor. Payment was easy via Venmo. It's such a relief to have a go-to electrician I can call on when anything is amiss with the juice in my house. read more
