I mentioned a separate problem with a dimmer switch. Craig explained the issue with dimmers and LED bulbs. He installed a better switch--this take care of problem #2. I was having problems with my power panel and called an electrician to fix it. The first one said I needed a whole new panel and also told me the wiring was old and needed to be replaced. The cost he gave for the job was in the thousands and I thought I would get a second opinion. Called a second electrician and was told basically the same thing. So I decided to call one more electrician and figured if they also had the same analysis, then I guess its what has to be done. Called Craigs Electric with my fingers crossed and he came, looked at my panel, did some tests and told me that all I needed was a new circuit breaker. I would rather give Craig Electric no star if I could! Craig replaced a circuit breaker that controls our kitchen electrical power including the fridge in November 2024. The same problem came back on March 7, 2025. I called and texted Craig several times, but without any response. After 10 days, I found another Electrician who fixed the problem Period. The new Electrician said that the malfunction circuit breaker replaced was not new and it was too tight to be removed. He had to open the wall to replace the whole circuit breaker panel and it was costly. I asked Craig for refund. He texted back and said he would do it if I give him back the replaced breaker. But when I went through trouble and got the old breaker and asked to meet him, he just ignored and disappeared. read more

i have used craig's electric a few times over the last 2 yrs to repair outside light fixtures outlets in the house and in the front yard. most recently i purchased an electric clothes dryer which needed to have the outlet upgraded. he has been prompt fixes things quickly and at reasonable prices. today i called because the switches and outlets in my kitchen were not working. i checked the electric panel to see if any breakers were tripped all looked fine so i called craig. he asked if my kitchen had ever been remodeled and whether there was a gfi outlet that had been tripped while we were on the phone i found it and pushed the white button and it was fixed. i never noticed the white button on the outlet i thought they are red he said the outlet buttons are now white. i felt like an idiot . he is so kind and honest fixing my problem over the phone. read more

Two of my outlets stopped working and I checked the fuse box and the fuse was still on . I called Craig's Electric because of all the glowing reviews on Yelp . Customers gave 5 star reviews not only because of his quality work but also his honesty and kindness. First he tried to help me fix the problem over the phone for free. He was sure I just needed to reset the outlet. I assured him this plug had no reset button and I had aLready reset the nearby plug. He said he could drop by that night on his way home... I think knowing what would happen. And sure enough, he found an outlet I didn't know about and reset it... and you guessed it... this reset the two nonfunctioning outlets. Instead of charging the $120 minimum fee, he said I can't charge you that much for that and asked for a much much reduced fee. ... with the request that if I had a bigger job to keep his business in mind. I have had Craig over for a few smaller jobs at my house that I was not able to do myself. And there is no job too big or too small. I have high ceilings and can't reach the lights even with my tallest ladder and Craig has no problem doing that. He also fixed a security light outside and was great when it turned out that the brand new out of the box light was faulty. He took it back and got a new one for me which I would not have done for at least a few weeks. He came back the very next day and got it all sorted for me. Wow, Craig deserves all the five star reviews. He just left my house after sorting out a light switch in my son's bedroom and replacing a blown circuit breaker, and now we have lights back on! I came home this evening after 7PM and upon learning that the light switch in my son's room was broken I decided to quickly replace it. In my defense I have done this many times in the past (without switching off the circuit breaker). The room was a bit dark and I didn't realize one of the wires I had disconnected was touching the switch point. It caused an electric arc, and there went the power in several rooms in the house. I was skeptical that any electrician would be available at 7:20PM. Even though Craig's ad on Yelp showed "24/7" I didn't think anyone would answer. Well, not only did Craig answer my call, he showed up in 30 minutes to sort out my problems and became a hero to my 6 year old! Craig was an easy going nice guy as well. Despite the last minute late evening visit his fees were quite reasonable. I would certainly call him again and feel comfortable recommending him to my family and friends. read more
