Roobik has come to my house a total of three times. 1. He came to my house to install an outdoor outlet, which I did use him for (and tipped) 2. He came to my house to give a quote for a job I didn't use him for. 3. He came to my house one additional time (and now last time), to give a quote for a subpanel install outside. Within a few minutes of the third visit, after observing unrelated electrical work he didn't perform for me, he uttered something to the effect of "I've come to your house 2 or 3 times now and given you a quote, and you don't use me. I'm not going to provide a quote without charging 2 hours of labor, to measure the distance of the cable runs". On its own, a ridiculous statement which no other electrician has asked of me, as I have had other electricians bid for this job already that have no issues with taking out a tape measure and providing an estimate within a few minutes of being onsite. At the end of the day, I invited Roobik to my house in good faith, to provide an estimate for what will amount to several thousands of dollars of work, and rather than provide a quote, I got lectured and instructed to get a quote from the other electricians that have worked on my house. There are many electricians/contractors that aren't going to chastise you for not sending every job their way, I recommend you find a different electrician as this last (and final) interaction was baffling, unprofessional, and uncalled for. read more

We were referred to R Power as we needed repairs & upgrades to list of electrical problems, big and small, for our 30+ year home. He came highly recommended and in turn, we can highly recommend him as well. Once the appointment was made, he reconfirmed the night before, arrived on time with his assistant, and went right to work. Could not be more satisfied not just with the quality of work which was outstanding but also the fairness in the overall cost. Thank you, Roobik. read more

We had some older, non-LED recessed lighting that needed to be replaced. The older materials we needed are no longer readily available, but Roobik was able to source some for us. He then timely scheduled the repair, which looks great and avoided causing any damage or scuffs to our ceiling. He did a great job! read more

Roobik and his assistant (sorry forgot your name!) did great work running ethernet cables on my house. We ran cables from the modem to two outside camera locations and the detached garage. Roobik quickly gave me reasonable quotes after his site visit so I decided to work with him. On the day of working we had few different tactics to run the cables. Roobik thoroughly analyzed the tradeoffs until we agreed upon the best solution maintenance/reliability/cost wise. The attention to detail was great. See how he tidied up the cables nicely as well as ran conduits in a clean way with silicone seal to avoid water etc intrusion. The overall price was fair as well for the time and the material spent and the quality of work. read more

Great service, fast and reliable. Had a new electric garage opener set up in less than 1 hour.

Roobik installed a Tesla Wall Connector this morning, and he and his assistant did an excellent job in under two hours. He knows what he is doing and doesn't engage in the nonsense often found with other general contractors. Roobik gets straight to the point, clearly outlining the problem and how he intends to resolve it. Also, so no trashes/dusts left behind. Very neat. One more trustworthy point I can make is that he actually shows up and manages the project from beginning to end. R Power Services is a highly dependable company! (Thumbs up) read more

Wonderful service! We were able to connect with Roobik quickly and were able to get the work done within 24 hours. The work was done very well, very clean, and very efficiently. Roobik was lovely to work with. He replaced two hand dryers for us. read more

I've been working with Roobik as my electrician for over four years now, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From small tasks like rewiring deck lights and installing garage fixtures to large-scale projects--including a 400 amp service panel upgrade and, most recently, a full hookup for a whole-house backup generator--Roobik has consistently delivered outstanding work. What sets Roobik apart is not only his technical expertise but his reliability and attention to detail. On multiple occasions, I've had to bring him in to correct or complete work that other electricians, hired by general contractors, could not handle properly. Each time, Roobik has resolved the issues with professionalism and precision. I will continue to rely on Roobik for all electrical needs and confidently recommend him to anyone looking for quality, trustworthy service. read more

I can't say enough great things about R Power Services! They installed an EV charger in my garage, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. Roobik came out for the estimate and was incredibly thorough, clearly explaining all of my installation options and answering every question I had. Once I purchased the charger, he scheduled the installation within 48 hours, arrived right on time, and did a fantastic job. The installation was clean and professional--and he even patched the wall afterward! Everything went perfectly, and the attention to detail really stood out. I highly recommend R Power Services and will absolutely be using them again for any future electrical work. read more

Roobik took care of our complicated electrical panel upgrade with great technical skill. He communicated very clearly and promptly with us throughout the whole process. He also took care of helping us electrify our home by installing new dedicated 240V lines for us. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending R Power Services to anyone else. This is not one of those outfits where the person who comes out to give you a quote is different from the person who actually does the work for you. read more

This is the best electrician in all of Los Angeles County, but we are lucky enough to have him in our own backyard. I found him here on yelp after having several electricians that didn't help us, because they said our house was too old to do the projects we wanted or just did bad work. Roobik answered my call for help and I had an estimate in less than two hours. We needed a 240v outlet in our kitchen to support a new induction stovetop/oven. He and his helper were both professional, punctual, and didn't talk to us like we didn't know anything. Our job was complicated and he found our last ground was hidden under a bench and not up to code. It was very dangerous! It only took two days to complete everything including a four prong outlet. The most amazing thing he found was a plumbing issue that had, had a slow leak under our house for months and finally explained a funky smell and higher than average water bills that we had, had others out to investigate and no one could find. It was in a very tiny crawl space. This was not what we hired him to do, but because of his find we had a plumber out to fix it within 24 hours as an emergency. He labeled everything on our breaker box. They are lifesavers! They are honest and fair in price too! We then found out upon completion of his work that he is a general contractor. My husband and I cannot wait to hire them again and hopefully they'll be able to build us or help us with our future ADU. When they start and you receive a time and day for them to start and finish it's accurate. They are tidy and clean and repair as they go. Basically they went above and beyond! You will not be sorry hiring them! read more

Roobik was very responsive. He helped me with an outlet fix in my condo in Monterey Hills then installed a 240v outlet in my townhouse in Valencia. Work was quick and well done. Would definitely hire him again. read more

We hired R Power to install 3 new light fixtures in our master bathroom. While on the surface this sounds like a simple job, it was much more complicated because we needed new wiring to support the fixtures and they would be located above a tall mirror where there was very limited space to work. From my initial call, Roobik was very responsive and was actually able to meet me on that same day to provide a quote. His pricing was reasonable and competitive so I immediately hired him for the job. Throughout the entire process, Roobik explained the potential issues and options for installing the fixtures. He and his assistant were very prepared, efficient and professional. Once they opened up the wall, they had to make some adjustments but kept me in the loop for each step of the way. In the end, they installed the fixtures exactly to our requirements and the new lights look great. I own rental property and have worked with many contractors, plumbers, electricians and other service people and R Power is among the best of them. My experience with Roobik was extremely positive and I will not hesitate to contact them again for my next electrical related project. read more

Sent out a project request blast on a Sunday evening and Roobik texted me very quickly asking for a quick call to go over the problem. He made time to come install my gfci outlets correctly (fixing the short in the circuit id cause by trying to do it myself poorly) and fixed another issue the next morning. Highly recommend. read more

I recently utilized R Power Services for a few outdoor light fixtures, bathroom vent fans, recessed light, and 240V plug for my garage for an EV Charger. Roobik was absolutely straight forward, very honest with his quotes, and i feel like i've met my future go-to guy for anything electrical related. I didn't even bother pricing around with anyone else. He came over for the initial quote, we schedule a few weeks there after, during the process we hit a few bumps that increased the cost, but was fully communicated and explained. I felt in good hands with Roobik. His assistant (i forgot his name), but was the most polite and friendly person i've met. A+ to his assistant as well! Everything was knocked out in one day, they swept, cleaned, and protected my property as if it was their own. I would highly recommend R Power Services for any electrical needs. A great, honest guy/company to deal with. read more

We had an amazing experience with R Power services. We needed an electric vehicle charging station installed. They recommended we pick up a specific charging station and came out as soon as it arrived and installed it -- it was no easy feat as our house has a weird garage situation but they did an incredible job and it's working perfectly. They came back a few days later and fixed some wiring in a different part of the house that had been installed incorrectly. Great people and great service. Would definitely recommend. read more

Since So Cal Edison has all these programs going to upgrade or replace older electric appliances, I decided to replace my 40 year old water heater through one of their programs. The problem is that my house is over 100 years old, and the wiring isn't exactly up to modern standards. As a result, even though the installation itself went smoothly, the water heater kicked out before it was able to heat a single tank of water. When the installers came back a day and a half later, they said it was a problem with the wiring and washed their hands of it. That was when I started making phone calls. Roobik was the first electrician to respond, and he made it his personal imperative to come by that same day to try and figure out the problem so I could have hot water again. He arrived when he said he would. He was courteous and professional. We discussed likely causes of the problem, and he was able to coax my ancient wiring into sending enough power to my shiny new water heater so it could do its job. He also touched base after he left to make sure everything was working properly. That genuine concern for the well being of others was the icing on the cake. I already knew that I have funky wiring in my house, and now that I know about Roobik, I'm making plans and looking at my budget so I can send more business his way. read more

As usual, Roobik responded quickly and professionally to my request for the replacement of an outlet. It was a small job, but as he mentioned to me, "no job is too small for us." I appreciated their prompt response, and quick repair. I definitely recommend R Power Services for any electrical contracting needs. This is the second time I've used them, and both times I have been very happy. The cost was quite reasonable. Thanks Roobik! read more

Our pool pump went out and I realized my GFCI outlet was not working. Thinking it was a small job, I went on YouTube to find a solution (bad idea). After hours of research and dismantling the outlet and power switch, I was left with a big old mess. Reached out to Roobik, and he came out to investigate in less than 24 hours. After sharing his proposed solution and a fair quote, he got the relevant material within the week and installed a new housing unit that included using the GFCI outlet that i mangled and installed a new switch. It's great to have someone who is responsive and effective, especially when it comes to your electrical system. So much better than YouTube! So in short, trust Roobik, not YouTube! read more

He came out within a couple of hours and gave me a great deal. Fixed the issue super fast and answered my questions.

I've actually had other electricians not bother to come out or do a job if it's not big enough. I understand that from a business standpoint. But it sucks for a regular home owner like me that needs something done that is just out of my scope of comfort to fix myself, but it isn't big enough of a job to for an electrician to want to complete. I contacted Roobik, and he responded very quickly. We set up a time for him to come out and take a look and give me a free estimate. In a couple of days, my two small jobs were completed. Very efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and FAIR. A trusty electrician is someone that every home owner should have in his/her phone book. I had a nightmare experience with a different electrician who fried my microwave while changing a breaker (and proceeded to yell at me on the phone for an hour). Obviously a new guy was in order & I decided to call Roobik (who I had used and evidently forgotten I had used?! KATE.); he came out promptly to give a look, noted the issues the previous guy had caused, and gave me a price to separate my oven and microwave. He even offered to install the new microwave I bought after the old one fried. A few days later, he's done with the added line and in the process somehow Lazarus'd my old microwave! Lazarus'd it right back to life! We have no idea what happened, but ... IT LIVES. AND THEN. Roobik loaded the new microwave in his truck, drove, and carried it into Lowe's for me so I could make a return. He's a good dude. He's a solid electrician who fixed the wrongs of someone else AND he organized the wall repair for a few hours after he finished. THANK you, Roobik. read more
