I had to call LMS after my previous contractor failed inspections several times and couldn't finish the job for electrical on my new ADU. CJ, Sam, Rob, Devon were great. They answered all my questions, and worked with me to make sure everything was done correctly this time around including fixing all the corrections from the last contractor who messed up. The work involved moving electrical from my main house to adu in the back and energizing both units and changing the electrical drop from the pole and getting a ground through an underground conduit. It was not light work, and they did it quickly with minimal service outage. Also super nice and courteous which was very much appreciated. Louis came out for the original estimate and he was awesome as well and super professional and on top of all the work that was going on. Bummed out because they came in to replace an outlet and helped identify a larger problem but failed in following through to resolve it. The office manager said they would schedule a second visit. I called twice in 2 weeks and they just blew me off, saying I would get a call back. It never happened. side note- the serviceman was a no show the first time so we rescheduled. I'd have more respect for them if they just passed on the job instead of ignoring me. The work that was done was professional. For that, they get 4 stars. Flaking on me deducts 2 stars. (The first was a total house rewiring, second was an outlet addition) It is so refreshing to see people who do a professional job and take pride in their work. Considering they will be working on a house that is 101 years old. The old electrical was extremely dangerous and out dated. LMS is a very pleasant company to work with, their pricing was very competitive, and I would certainly hire them again. The owner gave the estimate and later followed up at the end of the job. LMS Electric replaced my almost 60 year old 100 amp service breaker panel with a new 200 amp panel that also had more spaces. They were quick and efficient. Since I was traveling, they worked to my schedule. They coordinated with the city for the permit and inspection. On the day they came, 3 nice courteous men arrived and worked as a good team. Power was off for only a few hours and they finished by the end of the day. They also explained what they were doing and why and patiently answered all questions. LMS Electric did little things such as going under the home to run a 10 ft grounding wire so it would not show. When replacing a GFI outlet that was attached to the old panel, they installed a new GFI and cover at no extra charge. The wiring inside the new panel was very neat, whereas the old panel looked like a rat's nest of tangled wires. While they completed the panel replacement on the first day, they returned the following day to label each circuit. They used a label printer and I have never seen such an organized looking electrical panel. read more
