I'm kind of torn on this one, to be fully transparent and honest. On one hand, he did add a breaker for free and, maybe (needs to be tested, waiting for a really hot day for when the AC will be working hard) fixed the major issue at hand. But on the other I felt there was a bit of a communication issue between us, might have been me, might have been them, hard to say, you know? But, it seems the issue gotten fixed, and free work is free work, can't complain about that, but be very very * very* appreciative of it. read more

Miro was extremely professional. My wife and I were given very detailed information. His full evaluation was spoken openly while he analyzed the house. Nothing was hidden; Miro was very honest and made my wife and I feel safe and informed. Miro really loves his craft and you can tell. The work was great. He added 3 additional circuits that we pulled through the attic, down the drywalls, and made new outlets for our AC systems. By adding the extra circuits we can decrease the load overall by isolating appliances. Like I said, great explanation and also allowed me to watch him while he worked and shared SoCal specific electrician stories and annoyances of older home and slightly off code contractors that often make it hard for homeowners. We had a great experience working with Miro from PM electric, who we called in because some outlets stopped working. He was honest about the work that needed to be done (in our case a handyman who came in did not do a great job, and our electrical wasn't set up well in the first place.) Yes it might be a little more pricey compared to what handymen charge, but you're paying for someone who knows what they're doing. My power went out at 9pm and when I went to the fuse box to "trip a switch" (let's be honest I have NO IDEA what I thought that I was trying to do) a ball of fire flew directly into my face and charred the breaker box. Miro got here in 18 minutes, explained everything to me (including that I was lucky to be alive), took care of the problem and was delightful. The true test was when I asked him a bunch of questions about safety and what I needed to fix first (how urgently etc.); he was honest and made it clear that he didn't want to scare me into any unnecessary repairs.
