He seemed to be very knowledgeable and know what he was doing. During the project, I showed it to a couple of contractors I know and they said it looked like he was doing a very professional job. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because the project dragged on for 10 months. One of the issues was that each time there was an inspection, a different inspector showed up and wanted changes from what the previous inspector had okayed. That seems to be part of doing business in Los Angeles and I don't hold Alex responsible because he was quick to make each change an inspector wanted. But there were also long periods of time when nothing was being done, perhaps because they were working on a different project. Would I use the company again? If it were a smaller project that didn't take as long, absolutely! Without a doubt! The work quality was excellent, communication on issues was excellent and Alex was easy to work with. While I hope not to have electrical issues in the future, Alex and Alex Electrical Services is who I would call first.

There was one miscommunication regarding an item listed on the estimate that was not included in the final project. It listed that the permit and inspection with LADBS was included, which was why I went with them, but afterward Vilyam said that was a mistake. We had a burned out system of recessed lights and old-style transformers in my daughter's bathroom, and another electrician had quoted thousands. Quantum answered their phone immediately, set an appointment for the next day, and spent a good amount of time assessing the problem. Indeed, fixing the existing system would have been pricey and difficult, as the parts were well-outdated, and would take some hunting or cobbling together of old and new. But rather than try to convince us to do that, they suggested removing the old system entirely and replacing it with a more modern one. While that might have seemed the bigger job, it was actually the simplest thing to do -- and the least expensive. Instead of thousands, the whole job cost $450. The owner, Andrei, is friendly, accommodating, honest and knowledgeable. The other members of his team, whether in the office or on site working with him, were equally friendly, skilled, and easy to deal with. He was kind and very responsive to both phone calls and text messages in the days leading up to the job, which was replacing our circuit breaker panel and also diagnosing + fixing the mysterious cause of some circuit breakers melting in the first place.
