DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. 0 STARS. I paid RAZ $1,300 upfront for a mini-split AC unit that I NEVER received. The job was never even started. He originally quoted me $2,500 for parts and labor. He first asked for a $500 deposit to order the unit, then later claimed he was picking it up and needed another $800 to finish paying for it. I sent him a total of $1,300 through Zelle and Apple Cash. On the original installation date, August 7th, he canceled 10 minutes before our appointment because of a family emergency. I was understanding and agreed to reschedule. He then failed to follow through again, and I even called out of work for the rescheduled installation--only for him to not show up. After taking my $1,300, he completely stopped responding to my calls and texts. I have repeatedly asked for either my $1,300 back or the AC unit I already paid for, and he has provided NEITHER. At this point, he has $1,300 of my money, I have no AC unit, no installation, and no response. I gave him multiple opportunities to make this right. Do not give this guy money upfront. Based on my experience, I would NEVER recommend or hire him. read more

Raz was very efficient with communication and got the job done. Our outdoor lighting was not working but he was able to fix it very fast!

I'm very happy with the work Raz did adding a bathroom outlet. Raz is very reasonable and easy to work with. From the first message, he gave a clear price range and pointed out that a GFCI outlet would be required. He also explained he would inspect first to confirm the safest code-compliant option. After inspection, he offered different wiring approaches and patiently answered all my questions. I especially appreciated that he didn't push the more expensive option and worked with me to find a solution that minimized opening the walls while still staying up to code. Once we agreed on the solution and price, scheduling was easy and the job was completed within the same week. The work was clean, and I even enjoyed chatting with Raz and his partner about electrical work and home automation. Overall a smooth and stress-free experience. I would definitely recommend Raz for electrical work and would hire him again. read more

This review is for my experience with RRZ's estimate, not work completed. Raz responded quickly and was very nice on the phone. Two young technicians arrived at my home to survey job and give a free estimate. They did not know why they were there. I explained I needed electricity to two doorbells. They looked at everything, tested the wires, they looked in my attic and I was told I needed TWO transformers to make the doorbells work. I was given a bid of over $700.00 for the job - installation of new video camera doorbells not included. I have since had two licensed electricians come out to give bids on the job. BOTH told me I HAVE a transformer in the attic that was just DISCONNECTED but is perfectly functional WITH POWER with wires going to the two doorbells. The transformer was reconnected and power was restored to doorbells. $125 to fix everything and install the video camera doorbells. Lessoned learned - NEVER get just one bid. And be cautious of someone selling you something you do not need. read more

I am very happy with my service call from RRZ Lighting & Electric. We had an emergency situation early in the evening. RRZ was able to sent out a technician who arrived in less than an hour from my call, did trouble-shooting to figure out the problem, and in my opinion went above and beyond to figure out what was happening. As it turned out, the problem was with an appliance itself not the electricity but at least we have peace of mind knowing what happened and our technician, Hovic (I think - my apologies if the name is spell incorrectly) was extremely helpful and polite and explained what he was doing and spent a lot of extra time trying to make sure the issue wasn't with the electricity. On top of all that, I felt the price for the late evening, last-minute house call and the amount of time the technician spent to troubleshoot was extremely fair. I would recommend RRZ Electric to anyone looking for fast, efficient service, and I know I'll be using them again. read more

I needed two new electrical outlets installed above two bathroom vanity areas in order to install two LED mirrors and have the plug hidden behind the mirrors. RRZ gave me an estimate for the described project, they showed up on time, were courteous, professional and clean. They had great suggestions for how best to install the mirrors and they did it all in one morning with minimal to no drywall damage. These guys were great and I would hire them again for my lighting/electrical needs without hesitation. Jose in Moorpark read more

Not license company try's to hid under another company's license which is illegal do not use! Flipped out when called out on not being licensed. He tried to put in another brands meter socket in a discontinued panel drilling wood screws into the component to hold it in place told by multiple electricians, Edison and the inspector this is not correct and would not have worked. When called out on this said he was taking everything and leaving. He did this to try and leave us without power for the holiday week. then asked about license and could not produce check licenses before hiring! read more

I can't say enough good things about RRZ Lighting! Raz responded to my message quickly and scheduled an in-home consultation for a few days later for installation of recessed lighting in 3 rooms and ceiling fans/lights in 2 other rooms. He was super friendly and professional, took his shoes off without my asking when he entered our condo (!), and he provided great suggestions and a competitive quote on-site. Even our dog felt comfortable with him. Once I decided to move forward, Raz accommodated my schedule, showed up on time, and came with one of his guys in the morning to make sure everything was in order. Then Sam and Archie were amazing as they completed the work-- very professional, knowledgeable, nice guys (who barely accepted water as I kept trying to give them food or drinks all day), and their work was beautiful with MINIMAL cuts to the ceilings. Raz even connected me with someone to patch up and paint, which was much appreciated. They made what I considered to be a major job incredibly easy. Highly recommend. read more

RRZ Lighting & Electric is the best in the business. I had my power flickering on and off for about two days and I finally reached out on yelp to a couple of business to get my problem solved. He showed up and diagnosed the problem within seconds. He gave me a very reasonable price for the repair and fixed it right on the spot.
