The Big Schnitzel Sandwich with a few bites taken out already
    Peggy G.

Stumbled across great reviews on Google and Yelp and decided to try it out. One of the Best decisions we made about food this entire trip. The guys were very helpful on helping us decide what to try. We were torn between the Reuben (which looked delicious), the sausage sampler. Since my hubby and I were sharing they suggested the Big Schnitzel Sandwich. When it came out we were shocked how big it was. It looked amazing and after eating it - it was amazing! The schnitzel was cooked perfectly - moist on the inside- the bread was tasty and all the condiments they put on it were fantastic. If we are ever back in this area, will definitely be back. They are also very friendly and enjoyed the time chatting with them.

Chili bowl - filet mignon and Carnitas. 12 bucks!

In a time where McDonald's meals are 17 bucks, mediocre restaurants for 25 bucks a plate and dishes that lack any substance or depth of flavor... there's globe deli. 9 bucks for a tall mug of imported German beer, hand crafted sandwiches that will keep you coming back for less than a meal at mcdeez. This place is a no brainer

Where has Globe Deli been hiding all these years?? How is it so hidden but in plain sight?! It's such a bros sandwich joint that sort of feels like a club you just want to be apart of. Every one who walked in seemed to be a regular at. Service isn't off the charts but it feels like that's just the vibe and I'm totally cool with it. The dry sense of humor sort of humors me and as long as the sandwiches are not dry I'll take the dry joke any day.

    Selections of high end meats!

Let's start with the food, an absolute gem of an establishment. No one beats their meats. The sausage is absolutely amazing I never knew I could eat so much meat and not die. The vibes are immaculate the guys behind the counters will tell you stories of the old country! The beers are cold and the meats are delicious. Ask for the Kevin F. Special and watch you frown turn upside down!

Goulash over their noodles with red cabbage! Wonderful New Year's lunch! Thank you gents.

New owners made this place even better! Great deli and one of those OC rarities that actually offers a decent East coast hoagie. Yum.

Hello, is the store still open? We stopped by for the past three days and the doors are locked. 😔 Thank you.

Yes they are still open. I stopped there yesterday for a delicious sandwich. I only noticed that they close at 5pm. I think they're closed on the weekends

It was a touch oily on the outside, which made it a bit messy to eat, but that richness definitely added to the flavor. The Queen Bee had a perfect balance: creamy ricotta, sweet honey, and fresh green pear all working together effortlessly. The pine nuts were a great finishing touch, tying everything together with a subtle nuttiness. It's easy to see why the Chicken Pesto is a crowd favorite. If you're into pesto, arugula, and sun-dried tomatoes, this one hits all the right notes--especially on that toasted basil focaccia. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. Only downside is the tough parking situation, but honestly, it's a deli I'd still go out of my way for.

Portion size? It's a BIG sandwich. I think I was expecting the sandwich to be more reminiscent of the type of focaccia sandwiches I had in Italy, but in truth it was just "heavy". The focaccia bread was not light and fluffy, but more dense and oily. I think these sandwiches would cater to many people here as showcased in the other reviews, but just wasn't for me. Glad to have given it a try though! Service was kind and friendly!
