My husband and I absolutely loved this place. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warm servers who were exceptionally friendly and who, during the entire service, were extremely attentive to our every need, from determining our water needed a refill to assessing whether we were ready for another course or whether our wine/alcohol cups seemed a bit empty. And the sommelier on site was excellent. He was not pushy about which wine would pair best with which type of dish. Instead, he took time to speak with us at our table to determine which wines we normally enjoyed most and used such information to determine a relevant pairing. However, aside from the service, both the food and the ambiance were exceptional. We were seated in an area where we could enjoy the ocean view and atmosphere. The restaurant was also dimly lit with a live pianist, making for a very intimate atmosphere. The food was deserving of the Michelin star this restaurant achieved. Each dish was beautifully presented and contained a balanced harmony of flavors where no single element overpowered another. The proteins were perfectly cooked and it was obvious the chef was thoughtful in the flavor and element selection. Overall, this is a must try in Amalfi.

We were in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast and this particular town is located up high in the mountains. It doesn't go to beachfront. We happened on this particular restaurant that was tucked away from the crowds, next to the Hotel Rufolo. I had a great pizza, you can guess what's in it by the pic. My bro had a pannino with pork and tomatoes. All excellent. Waitstaff a bit slow.

Excellent restaurant with a Michelin star chef. Food was spectacular and sommelier was accommodating. The service was flawless and the food portions were small, but perfectly portioned. Americans are so used to these giant piles of food. The ambience was fantastic. I would go back again. The only con was the use of a "ladies menu." Such an old tradition... you give the woman the menu without prices and the man the menu with food prices.... anyway I picked up the check.

We did manage to throttle back and not eat all of it lol, as we wanted to still enjoy our starter and pizza. The oils provided were the perfect compliment for the bread, the salad (and the crust of the pizza). Salad was fresh and light. Pizza rolled out next and we still believe this to be the best pizza we ever had. Not heavy, but filling. The flavors were so rich and bright. Of course I had to have a local beer which paired well. The seating was outside, which was covered in an ivy like feel. It was lemon trees providing adequate sun coverage and of course looked beautiful. We would highly recommend checking out Donna Stella if you're in Amalfi.

It is kind of hidden away and looks almost like you are entering someone's property. There was a wait but they seemed to remember faces and I did get seated after about 30 minutes, though they did seem pretty busy for a Sunday night. I ordered the lemon ravioli since I had been eating a lot of pizza and read that people enjoyed it. In my opinion, the lemon ravioli didn't have as much flavor as I would have liked, it seemed a little bland and didn't really taste like there was much lemon flavor and the quantity was a little small. Cooked well though. I think I would come back again but order the pizza instead. They did have a longer wait if you didn't make a reservation. Their lemon tiramisu (8€) was definitely worth it. Very creamy and not too sweet and had more of that lemon flavor that I was looking for. I wish I had come in a group, so they I could have tried more things, but no worries that can be next time.

This was the best meal we had on our recent Italy trip!…read more While the restaurant doesn't offer a seaside view, we sat in the atrium with a lovely evening light and heaters. We started with an amuse-bouche (compliments of the chef), which was a parmesan cracker with ricotta. We shared two appetizers among the four of us - a tuna carpaccio in citrus fruit and poached eggs with black truffle. The poached egg came in a sauce that was totally delicious and mop-able with bread. The tuna was fantastic and very light. For the main, our table split the pasta stuffed with burrata and black truffle and the risotto with red shrimp in lemon sauce. Absolutely incredible! The risotto was soooo refreshing and light and cooked perfectly. The truffle pasta was full umami flavor and a flavor party. We ended with delicious desserts, my husband got the hazelnut coffee which he loved and I got a lemon assortment. This had a lemon cream brulee sort of preparation which I loved. The wines here were also fantastic and the service prompt and great!

They don't have anything marked GF on their menu but the server walked me through what I could have. My friend and I started with the La Caprese and they provided me with a GF baguette. For my entree I had the zucchini GF pasta. The pasta was good but the sauce was a bit overwhelming. It wasn't my favorite. My friend ordered the La Genovese with GF pasta and it was really enjoyable. They only had 1 GF dessert so we opted to get the lemon sorbet. They also brought out a few GF candies as well. Overall the service and views were really nice but I wasn't a fan of my entree.

They take your coat after you sit at the table. The decorations are of the 12th century applied arts. I had to order à la carte due to being a vegetarian and GF but my friend ordered from the tasting menu. The food and service were wonderful. We both ordered a glass of wine - I had the moscato. They have GF bread that was brought to the table. It was also made with the bruschetta. For my courses, I had the omelette with broccoli, pumpkin GF pasta, buffalo cheese with tomato under lemon leaves, a palate cleanser of strawberry ice cream, and chocolate mousse. We even got to try their Michelin best dessert of 2026 which was the lemon soufflé. It was decadent and delicious. We even had a tour of the kitchen to see the artwork on the ceiling. Overall our experience was cozy and sophisticated with its lemon infused dishes. Would highly recommend!
