Gnocchi
Whitney K.

This was a cute little place off the beaten path. It's definitely a locals spot. The lemon linguine ended up being one of my favorite dishes on our whole trip to Italy!

The service was warm. I was starting to think Italian waiters have RBF until I walked into the restaurant. We ordered the seafood risotto and lasagna, and a plate of grilled fishes. The risotto and lasagna tasted home-cooked. The grilled fishes plate included octopus, squid, shrimp, and cod and were seasoned perfectly. Everything was very simple, and very comforting.

Best restaurant experience that we had in 12 days in Italy. Family owned, husband singing and serving while wife is cooking. Prawns and lasagna were great! Fish was very fresh. Live fun music which made the place so nice. The owner brought us lemoncillo for free with our delicious dessert. This place is worth the short uphill walk from downtown.

This is a great family run restaurant across from Miramalfi Hotel. Great views of the Amalfi coast. Food and wine were wonderful.

We were able to get lunch time reservations and chose the "light lunch" of 4 fish courses for 100 euro each. What followed was sheer excellence along with 2 fabulous bottles of wine (the wine list--WOW). Tony provided impeccable service and explanations and Antonio, the chef, even came to the table multiple times to deliver his works of art cuisine. Speaking of art, the restaurant is essentially an art gallery. Beautiful and unique! Cannot recommend highly enough!

They do offer gluten free and vegetarian options but not together. There is a tasting option with 7 courses or à la carte. They do take a deposit of $120 per person 3 days before your reservation in case you cancel. The restaurant is centrally located and easy to get to. You have to ring the bell to enter. They take your coat after you sit at the table. The decorations are of the 12th century applied arts. I had to order à la carte due to being a vegetarian and GF but my friend ordered from the tasting menu. The food and service were wonderful. We both ordered a glass of wine - I had the moscato. They have GF bread that was brought to the table. It was also made with the bruschetta. For my courses, I had the omelette with broccoli, pumpkin GF pasta, buffalo cheese with tomato under lemon leaves, a palate cleanser of strawberry ice cream, and chocolate mousse. We even got to try their Michelin best dessert of 2026 which was the lemon soufflé. It was decadent and delicious. We even had a tour of the kitchen to see the artwork on the ceiling. Overall our experience was cozy and sophisticated with its lemon infused dishes. Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to them. I ordered the shrimp for €26. I received only six shrimp, heavily battered, with nothing else on the plate. For €26, I expected considerably more in both quality and presentation. We also ordered a €9 salad, which was essentially just tomatoes. My wife's food was better, but overall we felt the food was significantly overpriced for what we received. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. Our server took our order and essentially never attended to our table again. He walked past us several times without checking on us. We asked another server for water; he said he would bring it but never returned. Eventually, we had to get the attention of a third person just to get some water. The restaurant was very busy, and I understand that can affect service, but being busy shouldn't mean customers are virtually ignored throughout their meal. Beautiful setting and atmosphere, but based on our experience, poor service and very poor value for the money. With such high ratings, we expected much better. Unfortunately, this felt much more like a tourist-priced restaurant than the authentic dining experience we were hoping for.

Our service was intimate and personable, but not rushed or pressured. And, we sat outside in the courtyard under the Italian sky. Can't say much else except it was our favorite place to eat in Italy. We shall return.
