Delicious pizza

Delicious pizza with super duper amazing service. If you're near Glenside this is a "must go pizza place." Shout out to Bill for having an amazing ambiance. It was so awesome sitting there eating the food. Not only does the food taste well but also looks well too. Check out the photo!

I was not a big fan. The crust was crispy but kind of bland and a little dense. There was too much sauce and not enough cheese. The cheese lacked any of that gooey pull that I'm looking for. The folks were nice, but the pizza took a while. I'll stick with Vincent's and Pizza Wheel.

To me thier crust is good but different. The crust starts out thin then builds to a thick end crust. This pizza was for a small white pizza with extra garlic, peppers & pepperoni. I also ordered a chocolate milkshake that was very good with a slice of NY Cheese Ca

Decided to stop for a slice after appliance shopping. They didn't have any slices so I ordered a medium pizza. Parking: street meter Seating: Outdoor tables with umbrellas Service: Good. Cashiers are pleasant. Food: ordered half pepperoni & sausage. Pizza is good. Crust crunchy. Would definitely go back. Enjoy

We stopped by after a show at Keswick theater and grabbed a couple slices to go.

However, many of you might not know that Mister Ricks also makes great cheesesteaks. They have one of the best cheesesteaks I've eaten in Philly. The sliced ribeye is tender, juicy, and flavorful and stuffed into a giant seeded roll. A bargain for $14.99. Get it with fried onions and your choice of American, Provolone, or Cooper Sharp Cheese (hint: get Cooper Sharp!). It was so good I didn't even need to add any flavorings like ketchup or mayo to it (some cheesesteaks in South Philly are so dry they need ketchup and mayo to make them palatable). Mister Ricks cheesesteak is also physically larger than a lot of cheesesteaks I've eaten, so not only do you get a great cheesesteak, but it's also a great BIG cheesesteak that can be shared, especially if you get a couple of bags of chips. Oh, yes, they also have a vast array of chips and Coca Cola soda products to choose from. My son pointed out that this cheesesteak rivals and even beats any of the fancy, famous cheesesteak shops I've taken him to all around Philly. Totally true. I can name some of them, but then those shops might not like me anymore! Service is always quick and efficient. They serve a lot of folks on days with sporting events so if you're in a hurry, call ahead to place your order. There's no dining tables inside, but there's plenty of seats at the park right across the street.

Came here today and ordered a stacked Italian, and wow--I was not disappointed. The balance of…read moremeat, cheese, and toppings was spot on. The onions were sliced perfectly thin, the lettuce was shredded just right and spread evenly across the roll. Speaking of the roll--let's talk about it. The sesame seed roll had great texture and flavor, easily a standout on its own. Sure, their hours are a little unusual, but I get it--they probably don't need to stay open all day because the local crowd keeps them busy, and honestly, the hoagies are just that damn good. I'd happily come back for another one anytime.

Pretty damned impressive for an otherwise fairly dated space. I went with two favorites; hot dog (Blitzkrieg Bop Dog) and Pierogi (Let's Polka), both of which were enjoyable and very tasty. The Blitz was full of sauerkraut and spicy mustard (ketchup added at the counter). Split and grilled, its only weakness was a broken roll that wasn't quite up to the challenge of holding everything together. Still, I liked it to the last bite. The potato cheddar dough pockets were deep fried and covered in sautéed sweet onion and crisp bacon pieces. Housemade creamy onion dip really added a special effect when it interacted with everything in my mouth. Quite the oral dance party. Delicious. The list of local bands playing at High Steaks was impressive. Definitely added a great sixties feel to the joint. This place is special. Five by five all the way.
