Credit and debit card fee that is not advertised until you go to pay. Any place that charges a fee is pathetic as card transactions are actually cheaper for businesses than cash. My family and I love this pizza place. I can't say enough about it. I take my little grandson here all the time and we love it! They always make him feel special and give him pizza stickers which he loves. Early on, the owner gave him a Blue Bell Pizza T shirt. My grandson is four, and when we went in the next time, he showed it off for him and the employees. They're always so lovely here with the best customer service. Now for the food. I love their grilled chicken salad. They actually "grill" the chicken and you can tell it's been marinated. Other places merely "cook" the chicken. It's delicious! They also include little bread " knots". We love them too. Their pizzas are really good. The square grandma and grandpa pizzas are delicious. Sometimes we buy them and freeze them at home - we then bake them in the toaster oven a little bit and they're still delicious. All in all I would say that this pizza place is special, from the great customer service to the excellent food. read more

Ordered a small broccoli calzone about 2 weeks ago. HUGE! Was so good, broccoli was nice and garlicky. Decided to order it today. We ate in. It is a basic pizza/Italian shop and seating is also basic. We tried a few different pizzas - taco and cheesesteak. Both very good. Wife got an Italian salad that was exceptional. I got Carbonara- very good. Dad got a burger- it was a good size. My daughter got a small Stromboli which was enough for lunch the next day, too. Definitely will be back. Tonight was my first experience with Blue Bell Pizza. I was disappointed to find that my stuffed pizza did not include any pizza sauce. Perhaps this is a regional preference, but it was a surprise to me. My real frustration came when I opened the "avocado salad". There was no avocado included! Avocado was 99% of the reason I ordered the salad! Also, there was still a piece of the shell on the hard boiled egg in the salad. I had high hopes, but BBP came up well short of expectations tonight. I will probably try another local pizza place next time. read more

My son and his friends rave about this place, so even though it's a bit out of the way, we tried it. They said 20 min for the Both Worlds pie but it ended up taking 40. One of the grandpa slices had plastic (that I think separates the mozz slices) baked on. So not a great start until I tried it. Well, damn, this may have ruined me for other pies. The crust is so unique- Sicilian softness but thin. The grandma was particularly delish. I can see why my kid likes it- hope the initial issues were a one-off for us. read more

I received a menu in the mail today with a bunch of junk mail. Out of curiosity I opened the menu to have a look and my eyes perked up when I saw Chicago Style pizza. As a Chicago transplant who has lived in the mid-atlantic area for 7 years I always jump at the opportunity to try Chicago style pizza from local places even though most of the time I end up regretting it and disappointed. However this time that was not the case. I am pleasantly surprised at how good the Chicago style pizza is from here and I have now found my new pizza place for as long as I live in the area. Blue Bell's rendition is solid, decent crust with a nice layer of cheese on the bottom of the crust topped with a solid sauce and very generous good quality toppings. This really reminded me of the type of deep dish pie you would get from a small unknown mom and pop place in Chicago-land. If you're a Chicago transplant in the area and you're craving a deep dish give these guys a shot. read more

Let's be real. $15 minimum credit card charge is ridiculous. Just make your place cash only and save yourself the embarrassment. On the other note, the slices are decent, could be a bit better, cheese steak pizza could use less sauce and more meat for close to $4 per slice (a big one). read more

We have given this place so many second chances. It is now three strikes and you are out. New years Eve. Ordered pickup at 555 pm. Said 25 minutes. Arrived earlier. Handwritten sign said they closed at 6. The young girl that worked the register walked out at 615. My pizza was hot but when I got it home it was charg Charred and burnt on the bottom with a horrible bitter taste. We had ordered there at least once a week and our whole neighborhood does. My partner and I ordered from here for the first time recently. We'd been excited to try it out until we saw some of the reviews on here. We tried it anyway... We picked up a large half cheese half pepperoni pizza, mozz. cheese fries, regular fries, and garlic rolls--way more food than we could possibly eat, ha, but that's how we like to test new pizza joints. In short: Everything looked perfect and tasted amazing. I think this just became our new favorite pizza place so far in the Ambler/Blue Bell area (Giuseppe's in Warminster is the reigning king for Montgomery/Bucks area and maybe beyond. But anyone who's been there and is serious about pizza knows that place is in a league of its own...). Formerly for Blue Bell/Ambler, our go to had been Penllyn Pizza. They're still good, but Blue Bell Pizza was just... dynamite. I mean, look at our photos... and the visual definitely delivers on its promise! Clearly, this place knows what they're doing. Usually they're pretty good, but today, disaster! We ordered lunch for 10 people. It took them 2 1/2 hrs to deliver it. The food was cold and soggy. When I called to tell them about it I got; sorry to hear that but they did nothing wrong. No real apology, not even a coupon. We have been getting lunch from them for years. Time for a new place. Make sure you have cash!!. Sign at the register says 3.35 % of your bill will be charged if you use a credit card or debit card. The owner was standing by the register and I said this isn't right you should let the customer know before they come. Told him put that on your flyer that you just sent out. Most people don't use cash or have it on hand to pay with that. I am very angry about this and he knew it. I spent $15.00 and they tacked on that charge. My 1st thought is you don't want to be able to claim what you made like you would using a card. Money you can claim 1/4 of what you really make for that day. I bought a salad and it better be good. I've heard nothing but good things about this place but this turned me off! I will probably never go back there because of this. I have wanted to try this place for such a long time. Finally I got my chance. Waited at least an hour for delivery.,saw a car speed up and down my street. I was outside , flashing my car lights and waving but car drove by. Waited another 10 mins, then my son called. Told order was picked up and will be there in 10 mins. Waited another 20 mins and the car that was here earlier turned into my drive way. Food was cold. No discount was offered. I am bummed. The management at this pizza Reina is the absolute worst. Multiple time I have ordered from here where the pizza was very late for delivery or completely wrong. Tonight the wait for delivery was over 1:45. I don't know the full time because I cancelled it after being told it was an hour wait. I have mixed feelings about Blue Bell Pizza. Their plain, ordinary pizza is just ok, nothing great. Same goes for their white, Neapolitan style pizza. However, the Grandma Pie and the Brooklyn, both of which have thick crust and fresh mozzarella, are really good. The Greek salad is huge and always fresh -- much better than most salads you get from a pizza joint. I am deducting points for how frustrating their service is. I literally live on the same street as the business, yet they have gotten lost multiple times trying to deliver to my house (you don't even need to turn; it's the same road). Last time I went to pick up, no one was at the register and I had to call out to the back for a worker. Then, when they pointed out that my order was on the counter and then went right back into the kitchen, I had to yell to them again to remind them I hadn't paid. If they improved their service, we would definitely get pizza from here more often. read more

I have ordered here many times because my office places orders at least 2-3 times a week. When I have jumped in on orders to get lunch in a pinch, or placed my own expecting a turn around, this place has been disappointing to say the least and a COMPLETE HEADACHE. Here's a recap of each order each of which comes with a delivery time of at least an hour: -Ordered boneless buffalo wings- got plain boneless. Not even hot sauce on the side. This was not oversight by the woman who took my order as the ticket said "Buffalo" -this is pure laziness and ineptness by the kitchen staff. Are you kidding me? My cat wouldn't even mess this order up. -Ordered the "Island Salad" and 3/4 of it was thrown away. Their menu describes this salad as "Island Salad 12.99, Lettuce, tomato, onions, cucumbers, shrimp, scallops, calamari, avocado & almond" I got mine with a ton of iceberg lettuce (yuck), tomato, onion and cucumbers- 2 shrimp, 2 small scallops, and a few calamari bites. No avocado. No almonds. What a rip off. I ate the seafood and threw the rest of the watery mess away. Another mistake by the kitchen. Reality: I just paid $13 plus tax and delivery for a shitty salad that was unsatisfying and most of which was tossed in the garbage. Today was it. We ordered at 11:30, food arrived at 12:45. Our office is 2 miles away. Already I'm fuming at this place saying "never again" -I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with extra hot sauce on the side- because HOW could you screw THAT up? On the menu as "Hot Sauce, crumbles bleu cheese, lettuce &tomato" What I got? A sloppy mess of charred (burnt) grilled chicken SMOTHERED in hot sauce with burnt grill pieces, doused in what might have been (presumably?) bleu cheese dressing? Read: not crumbles. Also included warm mushy tomatoes and floppy gag-worthy warm lettuce. Ever notice why shredded lettuce isn't found on panini's? BECAUSE LETTUCE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PRESSED ON A GRILL AND SERVED HOT. It wilts and turns into a limpy pile of NO. That's why. SO SO SO FOUL. Oh and the fries? What do you think happens to french fries in a Styrofoam container that sit for over an hour? COLD SOGGY MESS. Look at the picture to see what I tossed and the remainder of the wrap with the river of hot sauce and pile of warm lettuce. Get your act together, Blue Bell pizza. I ordered two pizzas tonight and I was told it would be 35 minutes until it's ready for pickup. I arrived 5 minutes early and paid for my pizzas. I was told that it would be another 5 minutes, which made sense and was when my ordered was expected to be ready. After waiting for an additional 25 minutes past the expected order time I finally spoke up and asked if my order was ready. I was told that they are running behind because of a local school ordered 150 pizzas. I told the woman behind the counter that they should told me that information when I placed the order instead telling 35 minutes when they never had the intention of keeping that time frame. She then reassured me that it wouldn't be much longer. I must pissed off the owner because the waitress tried to hand me both of my pizzas and the owner looked me in the eye while taking the pizza away from his employee and he gave my pizza to another customer who came in 20 minutes after me. After waiting for another 10 minutes for a total wait time of 35 minutes in the store with another 35 minutes after calling (1 hour 10 minutes ) I took the pizzas home. The Sicilian pizza was so small it rattled around in the box. It was missing most of the cheese and tasted like soggy bread. The regular plain pizza was so oversized it wasn't able to fit in the box. When the waitress put in the box it ended up folding the pie almost in half. The pizza tasted like mushy bread and you could clearly taste that it was under cooked. I guess the owner was tired of me starring at him through my mask. The food was absolutely disgusting but the attitude of the owner was more disgusting and disrespectful. I've been a loyal customer of Blue Pizza for the last 3 years. From now on Blue Bell Pizza will be a Hard Pass!!!! Best of Luck. read more
