I'll start by saying I like their pizza but it showed up cold and everything else was bad. I ordered from their website and when the driver arrived he informed me they did not have the lemonade I ordered and he brought Snapple tea or ginger ale, he hands me the Snapple tea and I say "Oh I would rather have ginger ale" he takes the Snapple tea and hands me a Sprite and walks away. I was so confused, I would have drank the ginger ale, I am not going to drink Sprite. I go inside to eat and like I said before the pizza was cold, the chicken fingers were cold and some of the worst chicken fingers I have ever had, and I had no drink. My family and I have been getting Oreland Pizza for years and we love it! Great pizza and sandwiches.

Only ate here once but was impressed with the quality, price, and service. Will definitely come back and could bump up my review to 5* if consistently good. The pizza was definitely above average. I tried plain and Philly Cheesesteak Pizza and both were great. The slice combo deals are well priced and come out quick. Serve yourself soda fountain and free refills. They have a decent 6 packs selection. You can take out or drink on premise. I didn't partake due to limited time so can't comment on the beer prices. There is more seating than most local pizza joints. Theres a lot of Philly sports posters so I assume they have all games on when they are playing. Staff is prompt and friendly. read more

We called in our order and it was ready in about 20 minutes. We ordered the Grandma's pizza. It was really good! It's a square pizza, which is nice because some pieces do not have crust, which I prefer sometimes. The people pizza was perfectly cheesy and seasoned. The red sauce on top in about little spoonfuls was a nice touch. So much flavor! Based on other reviews about the pizza, I was worried the crust would be too thin but it was perfect! The pizza was big enough for at least 4 people, if not more. I wish the Grandma's pizza, or another square pizza, came in other options for toppings and sauces. Was at the restaurant last night to pick up my order. Got there 30 minutes after I ordered it and they told me it was still being made. 10 more minutes. Then I was told 10 minutes later another 10 minutes. And then a third time the same thing. After 30 minutes I asked for the manager who was useless and disinterested. finally they said oh we're just going to put the pizza in the oven now. Very unprofessional. Since I was eating at the restaurant ,I ordered a pizza steak with extra cheese. In my opinion pizza steaks do not hold up well unless you eat it right away. It came with American cheese. (So glad I got extra cheese!?) That's not a pizza steak. Afterwards, I asked an employee if they usually put American cheese on pizza steaks. He said they don't, they come with mozzarella cheese. That made it even more frustrating(was def not mozzarella!), I wish I just sent it back rite away instead of Forcing it down. To top it off it started falling apart before I got to the second half. Oreland Pizza is our neighborhood favorite! We recently moved to Glenside/Wyndmoor and we're recommended Oreland by someone who lived in the neighborhood and it has become our top pizza shop! The pizzas both regular and coal fired are delicious, the wings are great and their customer service is always on point! We are a large family and also a construction team which means we place large orders. Anytime Oreland makes a mistake which is not often they are happy to correct it! First found this spot on Uber eats and had it delivered. We ordered the coal fire pizza since the only other place we've seen that option is Anthony's. We were pleasantly surprised with the pizza and would even call it one of the best in the area. Tonight I decided to order again but for pickup to see where this hidden gem was. I order burgers weekly. The service is usually good. When I call to order 50% of the time I get someone on the phone who can't hear or understand my order. This evening I had to repeat myself multiple times. The person on the phone was rude and projected his incompetence on me claiming he could hear me. This place has been around for decades, though owned by different folks through the years. While I'm nostalic for the old, crazy Greek owner, this latest incarnation is pretty damn good for your neighborhood pizza and steak joint. This isn't really a destination restaurant, but if you are near this area, it's a perfect spot to pick up a slice. Plus, the place moved a couple of doors down into a larger space than the orignal. This has allowed them to put in one of the largest beer cases I've seen! I mean the beer selection here rivals that of any I've seen in the area! There comes a time when being the closest and most convenient pizzeria to where you live is no longer enough to keep your business. The last straw was this past Saturday night's delivery of a cold pizza with all the cheese slid over to one side. And if that wasn't bad enough the pie just tasted awful. Truth be told, Oreland Pizza does a better job with their hoagies, cheesesteaks and side items compared to their pizza. Oreland Pizza is my local pizza place. The pizza is a New York style, with good flavor and is usually cooked properly. For the price you can't go wrong. The wings at Oreland Pizza are also pretty good, being an Upstate NY guy, I know good wings and Oreland's wings certainly hold their own. The wings are a good size, and the sauce is thick, flavorful and spicy. I recommend the hot sauce, as they do seem to have some trouble keeping a good flavor as they crank up the heat. The hot wings for me are the best balance between the heat and the flavor. Oreland Pizzas calzones, stromboli and cheesesteaks are also all worth trying. In conclusion Oreland Pizza is a great local place to grab a pizza or something for a quick dinner at home. read more
