    Chicken Parmesean

I went to celebrate my birthday on a very busy Thursday evening. I made a reservation and it turned out to be a great idea due to the number of people dining that night. The restaurant is small so on a busy night it's packed. There's a nice bar area where you can also dine. Service was good overall. Our waitress wasn't as attentive as I would have liked but she was positive and helpful. The food was delicious. You could tell the pasta was made from scratch. I will definitely be going back.

Went to Enza recently for a friends bday!! They heard good things and decided to celebrate!! We had a reservation, but arrived earlier and was immediately accommodated. The food was great, I ordered zucchini fritters, calamari and cheese steak rolls as appetizers. The cheesesteak egg rolls were the winners!! Everything else was very good, but they were the best. I ordered eggplant Parmesan, it looked like artwork, but taste even better!!! There was no pasta added, and it was big missed! It was fresh and light! My friends purchased the chicken Parmesan and loved it. That did include pasta. The portions were great, we all took something home. They offer outdoor dining and it would be nice to return and partake in their pizza during warmer weather. Our waitress was very friendly also, even taking our pics at another part of the restaurant for aesthetics.

All the five star reviews must be from people with too much money on their hands and/or can't make simple dishes at home. The truffle fries were the only thing we weren't disappointed by. My wife was given 6 pieces of Ravioli on a plate with squash that tasted like it had been sweetened with sugar. Those 6 pieces of ravioli cost $19 without any protein. It was $7-$10 to add chicken, a steak kebab, or salmon to the dish that was priced as if it was going to include a protein. The Striped Bass was $29 and advertised to have a caper sauce. As you can see from the picture there were no capers and the fish was just plain and unseasoned. The grits just tasted like cheese and the asparagus was cooked well, but just tasted like it was simply cooked in butter. This restaurant thinks they can charge exorbitant prices due to their couple of leaves that they put on top of their dishes. If you've cooked at home, then you could take a look at any of these and figure out how to make it on your own and probably make it taste better while you're at it. And the best part is, you'll probably save money by buying all the ingredients at the grocery store and have leftovers for a week. This restaurant also had fairly casual decor and doesn't seem to be able to decide whether it's upscale or a fun pizza joint for families. They were multiple kids running around the restaurant and screaming, meanwhile, one server had to wait eight or nine tables while two hostesses, and what seemed to be a manager stood around talking. I don't follow any of the employees, but this is simply not an upscale business and should not be portrayed as such. If you have more money than you need and don't know how to cook easy meals then come here. Otherwise support the other local restaurants that have much more upbeat staff, delicious food, and prices that aren't insulting. I was so disappointed after seeing the reviews for this restaurant expecting more.

    Side of truffle oil $3

Unfortunately I need to give this establishment a negative review. I ordered a small pizza and Enza salad ($50) and asked a side of truffle oil to put on top of my pizza. The hostess came back and said well we are going to have to charge you extra - my response OK - and made up the price of $3.25 and then proceeded to tell me that there was truffle oil already on my pizza in a VERY SNOBBY TONE. 1. I'm not sure what they think I could little bit of oil for an entire pizza but in that case just charge me to fill up this small container. 2. Not sure if I'll be back after this. I really like this place but I'm not for the snobby and pompous demeanors AT ALL!!

Great neighborhood spot with seasonal and standard cocktails, a decent wine list, and delicious food. LOVE the pizzas! The gnocchi was light and full of flavor - perfect portion size. I also like their wings, flavorful, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Friendly staff. It's always busy, and there is always a steady stream of people coming in for takeout. Looking forward to coming back and exploring other menu items.

Great pizza restaurant and cocktail bar in sleepy Wyndmoor. Enza is only open for lunch on Fridays/Saturdays and was rather quiet when we arrived at lunchtime on a Friday. Our server was lovely and knowledgeable regarding the food on the menu. The owner gave us some great insights into running a restaurant and his culinary experiences. Everything we tried at Enza was tasty. The cocktails were delicious, the whipped ricotta a wonderful starter and the pizzas were outstanding. The pistache pie is the best tasting pizza I've had in a very long time. Enjoy with a Campari or spritzer and tell them who sent you!

We stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday. When we arrived, there was no one at the front for a good 5 minutes; the servers at nearby tables went about their jobs without stopping by the host podium -- little awkward. When we sat down, we requested the brunch menu and told it wasn't lunchtime (even though it was) until another server took over and let us order off the lunch menu. Of the items we ate (zucchini fries, calamari, melanzana pizza, and chicken parm), the chicken parm and calamari were without a doubt the best. The calamari was nicely crisp, tender, and served with tasty marinara sauce. The chicken parm came with honey which surprisingly went very well with it all. The accompanying spaghetti was pretty good as well with a good amount of cheese sprinkled on top. I would avoid the zucchini fries and the melanzana pizza, both of which were pretty bland unfortunately -- just not a lot of flavor in those dishes in my opinion. Value: 3/5 Quality: 3/5 Quantity: 4/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Delicious Pizza dining outside 55 degrees in December!

Had a relaxing New Year's Eve dinner at Enza. Friendly prompt professional service, reasonable prices, & delicious food. Have been coming here since they opened. This evening we enjoyed a tasty craft beer from a great selection. We had two appetizers the whipped ricotta & the chicken meatballs in marinara. We had a broccoli avocado salad & finished with the special pizza of the day. All just right.

Yes, there is a lot behind and to the north side of the shopping strip. Also, there is street parking around the corner. I've never had a problem finding a spot.

Parking can be tight on the street, but there are municipal lots nearby that make things easy. They usually have around ten beers on tap, a solid mix of styles that changes often enough to keep things interesting. There are a few TVs, and during slower weekday hours they keep things cozy by only opening the bar area. On weekends, when the place fills up, they expand seating into the section by their brewing area. If you're just grabbing beer to go, they sell four-packs of their own brews. For food, you can either take your beer into the market's food court or bring your meal back into the brewery. Both setups work fine depending on what kind of night you're after. If you are not a beer person, fortunately there are Stateside seltzers, and Surfside hard iced teas available. A relaxed local spot with good beer, friendly people, and a nice addition to Ambler's growing brewery scene.

I kept suggesting we go there one night for dinner and finally on a bustling Saturday evening we did! We were asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside and we chose outside so we could listen to the music and enjoy the ambience. We perused the menu and decided to start with a cocktail. I ordered "the Unicorn" which is described as having "assorted fruit liquor" and the server told me they were out of the fruit liquor. So I went with Robert's dew, while my bf got the Dragonberry mojito. Our drinks arrived fairly quickly and they were decent. We decided to start with the cheesesteak egg rolls as an app and for our entrees I did the crab cakes and he did the fried chicken. The egg rolls were also served very quickly, but it was at this moment we realized we had no silverware or napkins while everyone around us had cloth napkins on their laps. We managed to flag down our server and asked for napkins. She came back with cocktail napkins. It was our fault for not explaining we did not have silverware either, but our table was bare so we didn't realize we needed to be more specific. The egg rolls were served with a spicy ketchup, and were hot and delicious, with fried onions and a crispy coated outer shell. When our entrees arrived we still didn't manage to get silverware but the person delivering our food brought it over quickly. Now it's at this point I should mention I'm quite the foodie, who not only dines out frequently but also loves to cook. My crab cakes were a little on the "fishy" side and lacked flavor. All of the flavor was on the lemon aioli they were served with. That being said, they were definitely filled with crab and didn't seem to contain much filler. They just need some additional seasoning. The risotto it was served with could also use seasoning as well. My bfs fried chicken was served with French fries, Cole slaw, and corn bread. I tasted it and would give it all a 3/5 rating. Not bad at all, but nothing to rave about. It was on the dry side and again lacked flavor. We were considering dessert since we saw there were a few cookie style skillets when we looked up the menu in advance, but we were on the fence about if we should. When our server didn't ask if we wanted dessert we opted to skip it this time. Overall, the ambience is fun and it's a great place for a drink and apps with friends. The flatbread pizza seemed to be the star of the show and I think next time we will order from the sandwich, burger, or pizza menu rather than a full on dinner. Our server was HUSTLING and may have had a few tables inside too, which can be stressful, plus the restaurant was busy. We will come back and try again.
