My friend who lives in Germantown asked me to meet her here at this bistro, for happy hour. I'm so glad this happened! This is a beautiful place! Dark wood, beautiful red wallpaper and tapestry with glowy lighting! The happy hour is great! Very reasonably priced cocktails with sweet small bites on the menu. If you are a fries person, I definitely recommend the Parmesan fries! So good. Delicious salads, large plates and small plates with French and German inspired fare. In addition, the sweetest service I have had in a long time. This is probably a destination place. It's that good!

We had the best time at happy hour here, with Bartender Michelle in early July. We showed up…read moreshortly after opening at 4, there were already a few regulars seated at the bar. We joined them and ordered sangria $7 and a a special pink margarita the happy hour drink of the day for $9. Michelle gave me a choice of red or white sangria, and when I chose the red she said she was a little short on mix so she filled it in with rum, I believe. She put edible glitter in the drinks and kept us well entertained. The red Sangria was extra boozy but not really sangria-ish. Knowing we needed something to soak up the alcohol, we ordered food right away. The happy hour menu includes grilled poblano chicken tacos for $11. I was able to request corn tortillas, hooray! These tacos were a great value. Chopped mild tender chicken breast , pickled onions (sweet), with cilantro, cotija and an excellent crema (greenish). Homemade chips were obviously fresh and tasted and crunched quite excellent. Husband chose the $12 chicken quesadilla plate. It was fat with cheese and meat, and came with a big salad garnish, jalapeno and pickled onion. This place can really cook! Although it's a corner dive bar they have a real chef, excellent food and value. At some point I concluded I needed a second sangria and went for the white one. I don't remember much else but fortunately I took good pictures and notes of our visit. This is a very cool local bar with great chow and reasonable prices! We were in and out for under fifty bucks. Not bad for two filling meals and three drinks. Take a chance and drop in!

I have been doing a neighborhood bar crawl in Manayunk during 2025! Christian the bartender was super friendly and personable! The beer list (what I always look at first) was diverse and the food choices were typical pub food..but done at a notch above average! The patrons varied in ages and everyone was friendly! Nice place..good food and drinks! I'll be back...

Was on my way home and randomly ended up on the same street as Dim Sum Corner and honestly I had to…read morepull over and stop by because I was thrilled to see so many people standing inside I figured the food had to be great. They had a small indoor dining area, and their dinner rush does get busy so it was packed, line to the door. The lady working the front must've been overwhelmed and clearly in the weeds as she didn't greet not one person that entered the restaurant and never even bothered to ask me if I had been helped or if I needed to place my order. That alone kind of made me want to say nvm and find someplace else but it was the people in line who raved about this place that kept me curious. So instead of leaving, I figured I'd help myself out and order on DoorDash for pickup because it was clear that I wasn't about to get any service. After waiting nearly 40 minutes I got my food, and headed home. The stir fry noodles were just a mediocre version of lo mein, nothing special and lacked in flavor. The spring rolls were also mid. But the star of the show for me was the ginger scallion shrimp dish served with rice. I thought the flavors were pretty good, loved the way they fried the shrimp and the bed of onions was 100% necessary! The only thing I would've appreciated more of would've have been some extra sauce with the shrimp as the fried shrimp and rice were a little dry together. Would I try this place again? Maybe during the day at a time that isn't busy and I'd try something completely different from the menu, but I do expect to have better service next time.

Stopped here with a few friends visiting from New York. Service was quick and friendly. The dining…read morearea is small and simple, seating around 20-25 people. It looks like the place does a fair amount of take out. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were fair. The traditional dim sum menu was limited, but what they did offer, they made quite well. The bathroom, if needed, is located behind/beyond the kitchen, but there is one available for customers to use. You'll need to ask to get directions.
