Deviled eggs

Had Glenn's yesterday as I was staying at the hotel. Service was friendly. Food was good. So no real complaints at all. Had the deviled eggs and the seasonal salad which was a blue cheese and pear salad with candied walnuts. Not much else to report here lol.

Three words: warm crab dip. Located in the Glenn hotel, this restaurant has a little bit of everything. State, burgers, seafood, and it is all really delicious. My party and I grabbed a few things and split it between all of us. I personally ordered the salmon, it was really top-notch. The roasted chicken got top marks as well. I didn't order any alcohol, but I heard everything was delicious. No parking so I have to be in the mood in order to go, but I'll definitely be back.

THIS WAS HANDS DOWN ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES IN ATLANTA!! I love the personality of this place and how there are lions all over the hotel. The backstory of this hotel is also so interesting. The burger was delicious and the fries were crunchy :)

Stopped before visiting the new Civil Rights museum. They provided nice ambiance and friendly service at the bar. The dessert was wonderful. My only concern is that it took a long time for my tea to come out with it so i had to enjoy the two separately.

This is the lobby restaurant at the Glenn hotel. I swung by for a drink and ordered the lavender cocktail. Overall it was a but too sweet for my liking but I enjoyed the ambiance.

The ambiance is elegant and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. Soft lighting, tasteful décor, and well-paced energy make it ideal for both intimate dinners and special occasions. The space feels refined without being formal, allowing you to relax and truly enjoy the experience. An inviting setting that elevates the entire meal. Fantastic dining experience! We started with a fresh, crisp, well balanced salad that set the tone for the meal. The trout......cooked to perfection--delicate, flavorful, and moist--and the salmon was equally impressive with great texture and seasoning; seared perfectly. You can really tell care goes into the food here. The service was exemplary as well from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended.

I only sat at the bar as the sky lounge was closed. Our bartender Zach was amazing and so friendly. The drinks were tasty and the ambiance gave grown and sexy.

The salmon with risotto was delicious! Also make sure to get the not pictured, jalapeño hush puppies and crab dip. The hush puppies have some heat from the sauce but it's not too spicy. The service was a little slow when it came to getting our drinks. Even though we had a decent size group, the restaurant wasn't very busy.

Chili - nothing crazy special but also not priced like it was crazy special

We reluctantly went here after reading so many mixed reviews. Well, for a busy Sunday in between 2 major events and no reservations, they crushed it.! (i tried making reservations but was unable to online. Probably bc they were booked) The young host was kind & warm and said they had to commit to the reservations and they were not taking a waiting list. I didn't expect them too so that's why we got there early. Great service and the food was great! Cool and cozy atmosphere. Would go back for sure! Set the right expectations for yourself and the restaurant. You're in ATL next to State Farm Arena. It's going to be busy!

Tried this place when we went to Atlanta, Georgia. Located inside the Glenn Hotel lobby. I can't say any negative things about this place. I think everyone in my group loved what they have. Service was okay, understand that everything was made fresh, can't complain about the wait.

I don't think I will ever come back. The two gentlemen behind the bar weren't friendly at all. It was almost lot they didn't want to service us. The service felt more like what do you want, while they were friendly and interacted with everyone else in the dining room. I was excited to come to Glenn's because I hadn't been in a while but the service was not well at all. I asked the other bartender (I didn't get their name because they never introduced themselves, just asked how can I help you). At the end of my experience, I asked them do they have anything for surveys like a card or anything, hinting I was leaving a review and the bartender told me, "oh we don't do reviews". The salmon dish I looked forward to was okay. I couldn't enjoy my food honestly. Thanks for the free desert for my friends birthday I guess? I would say this restaurant is not geared towards young people at all.

Salmon Caesar Salad! 9/10 i've had better but still really good!

9/10! I've had better but it was still really good. I'd get it well done though unless you like it more medium.

Located in the lobby of the Glenn Hotel Atlanta, it's a downtown Atlanta destination for sensational dishes like this char-grilled salmon! Light and slightly charred salmon cooked perfectly atop a bright, lemon, creamy risotto that brings out the savory salmon flavor wonderfully! Then, they amped up the flavor with tangy pickled onions to mix in. We paired it with the bright, herbaceous Garden in the sky cocktail filled with cool cucumber and tangy mint.  Some of our other favorite dishes start with the starters like the Deviled Eggs and Jalapeno Hushpuppies. The Deviled eggs are sharp and tangy, a tasty spicy, sweet savory bacon jam on top. Yum! Speaking of spicy, the Jalapeño hushpuppies start out sweet with corn and honey, then the spicy jalapeño kicks in for a balanced bite! The spicy dipping sauce is icing into her cake. We paired this with Glenn's Old fashioned a traditional cocktail yet that is boozy and a slight sweetness for balance.  We also tried one of their salads, the Ahi Tuna Salad, and a handheld, the Short Rib sandwich. The Short rib sandwich is meaty and tender short rib paired with a spicy and creamy horseradish aioli, finished off with slaw on a crunchy ciabatta roll. And the Ahi Tuna Salad is savory and seasoned ahi tuna with a bright spring salad, tangy dressing, and creamy avocado. And don't forget the service! Waited on hand and foot and very knowledgeable about the menu!

We finally made it to Gus's yall!! I've been wanting to…read morevisit this place for quite some time and today was our time to shine. Very convenient location!! As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Naee who informed us that we can sit anywhere we choose. Soon after we sat, we ordered. Hubby ordered a 2 piece white w baked beans and greens I ordered 2 piece dark w baked beans and fries. 2 fresh brewed sweet teas please !! There was a short wait. Roughly 20 minutes. I didn't mind. I knew the food was cooked to order. I enjoyed watching horse racing on their TV, and people watching. The dining area is spacious, and clean. As soon as our food was up, it was on! The chicken was so fresh, tender, and well seasoned. I love the spiciness level. The baked beans were ok. A lot of flavor, a little sweet. The greens were great! I loved the flavor and consistency. The fries were pretty great too! Fresh and crispy. We enjoyed so much that we were planning our next visit, while sitting there eating during this visit !! Lol The sweet tea was good. I added a little water to it. I would certainly order again. I snatched a slice of fresh baked sweet potato pie to eat later. Later came, it was good straight out the fridge, great heated up. In true saving the best for last spirit, NAEE !! She was amazing from beginning to end. Sweet, personable, and consistent. She answered all of our initial menu questions, checked on us at the perfect times and made sure we didn't want for anything. This place is a must visit! You will not be disappointed.

**Huge Difference Between the Dark and White Meat -- Do Yourself a Favor and Order the DARK MEAT!**…read more What We Ordered: 2 Pieces of Dark Meat: Absolutely amazing! The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You could really taste the subtle spices in every bite. This chicken alone would have earned a 5-star rating! Coleslaw: Delicious, creamy, and the perfect side to complement the chicken. Baked Beans: Highly recommend! These were a standout side and definitely a must-try. 2 Pieces of White Meat: Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The chicken was dry, chewy, and lacked flavor. Honestly, it tasted like a completely different restaurant made it! Mac and Cheese: Nothing special. It was lacking flavor and didn't really stand out. Fried Okra: Surprisingly tasty! This was a nice addition to the plate. **Overall Experience:** The dark meat was SO good that I would have easily given this place 5 stars based on that alone. However, the difference between the dark and white meat was mind-blowing. The dark meat was juicy, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully, while the white meat was dry and disappointing. I would never order the white meat again, but I would absolutely come back for the dark meat! If you're trying to decide which sides to get, definitely go with the *coleslaw and baked beans. Both were delicious and worth ordering! Service: The service wasn't the warmest or most welcoming, but the staff wasn't rude either. Since it was my first time visiting, I would have appreciated a little more guidance and information from the server about the menu and what they recommend. Atmosphere: A small, cozy, homey restaurant attached to the Peachtree Mall. It has a casual, comfortable feel. Final Verdict: ORDER THE DARK MEAT! If they can keep that same flavor and juiciness consistent across the menu, this place would be 5 stars from me all day. Just skip the white meat for now and make sure to get the coleslaw and baked beans on the side!

Here's a tighter version:…read more I've traveled through Europe, eaten at thousands of restaurants, and had some of the world's best food. So trust me when I say the biscuit with fried chicken and sausage gravy at Homegrown was the single best meal I've ever had in my life. It was orgasmic. The biscuit, the perfectly seasoned chicken, the sausage gravy over the top. Every bite was as good as the first. The menu is simple, but you can tell they've spent decades perfecting whatever this recipe is. That kind of flavor doesn't come from shortcuts. The service is top-notch too. Friendly, genuine, and they make you feel taken care of. Be prepared to wait, because this place is popular for a reason. But I can tell you with confidence it's worth any wait. I'd do it again tomorrow. Five stars isn't enough. Homegrown, you've got a customer for life.

There's some limited parking in the lot behind the restaurant, but there's otherwise street parking in the general neighborhood. Come hungry! Portion sizes are huge and food is heavy. The service was great. Southern hospitality at its finest and they came by frequently to refill waters and coffee. It's a little bit hole in the wall/greasy in there, but that's part of the charm. If you're trying to get in and out, I recommend coming with smaller groups, like 2-4 people. I think it'd be chaotic to try and deal with a big party in the basement dining area. Recommend any of the fried chicken dishes, biscuits, and fried okra.

Good southern spot!…read more My friend came by here for a snack, and they did not disappoint. There is a good amount of parking for Hattie B's, and there is a pay to park lot next door as well. We got the pimento Mac and cheese cups, some miller lites, and the peach cobbler. The Mac and cheese was amazing, definitely a must try. The peach cobbler was good but the filling tasted like it was canned and the crust wasn't crispy. Next time I come by, I'd definitely want to try their banana pudding. The employees working were super nice and helpful. They were quick to take our orders and brought out our food very fast. I also liked that they had a combination of indoor and outdoor seating, this seems like a fun place to grab a drink with friends.

Buttermilk Kitchen is exactly what you would imagine a restaurant would be like if your Southern…read moregrandmother knew how to operate a restaurant. SO good. Great grits. Great omelettes. Great biscuits. Just great overall. The dishes served are all elevated Southern fare. Just a warning it is so popular that parking is very difficult to find and if you like a quiet place to eat this is not it. FOOD: REALLY excellent. I was so impressed. I need to come back. Just from what they served I had to get extra and bring it with me on the plane. While eating there, I had the pimento omelet which was beautifully balanced and flavorful. The biscuit was a bit hard on the outside but so pillowy on the inside. I also got the fried green tomatoes which was beautiful to eat. I took home the fried chicken sandwich and it was so delicious. I'm sure everyone else on the plane was jealous. SERVICE: Super friendly and the setting was great. I'm sure it is an old, converted house made into a restaurant. Tables everywhere and all of them full. It's a bit noisy so if you like it quiet, you won't find that here. But the service is excellent, the portions are huge, and the setting is homey. COST: Definitely above average but worth every penny. For what you get it's so good. Could you find a cheaper breakfast? Sure. But you get what you pay for and you you get something great.

She even told me that I couldn't leave without trying a biscuit and brought one complimentary. I would give that experience a 5 and I would give my last experience a 3 but let's just do an average. That's how I got four stars. This time, the service felt very different. Our waitress, Nekale, had a pleasant voice and was a beautiful woman, but she lacked warmth or friendliness. She definitely had the RBF going on. It felt like when someone says "I love you" with a stern face. Maybe something happened that day and she had an attitude, but if that's the case, don't interface with people on the floor. The girl brought lukewarm coffee, and my mom had to ask for fresh coffee. I was a little embarrassed because it was my mom's first time there and the service was blah. My mom said her grits were lukewarm, and so were my potatoes. She did not want to send them back because she was hungry, so she just ate them and did not say anything to me until she was almost done. Everything came out at a great time, and the presentation was amazing. It all looked very delicious. However, when I bit into my chicken biscuit, I got a lot of grease. In addition, I had asked if everything was an even swap, and she said yes, but when I paid, I saw an upcharge for my potatoes. All in all, I was very disappointed that the service was not as great as I experienced the first time. I was also disappointed that my food wasn't amazing. That said, I will still be back at some point.
