In with a large group in their function room (a couple dozen people post-funeral). While I lived in Easthampton a number of years ago, I'd never patronized it, and too bad, because this is a fine place. Looks can be deceiving; it's damn near nondescript from the outside, not on a main drag, with a not-very-easily-seen sign, and looks far more like a modest office building than a restaurant. Inside it's just fine. I had a turkey sandwich special, served with very good fries on the side. I winced slightly at seeing the food served on those square white plates beloved of pretentious Manhattan bistros and Food Network shows, but, eh. My sandwich was excellent: full of meat, well prepared, I was raving. My wife had a thick burger, and she's picky about burgers; she was raving too. So was everyone else: a wide range of luncheon specials were in evidence, and everyone expressed delight. Every plate was cleaned, and a number of take-home cartons were stuffed. Our waitress, despite waiting on two dozen people, was courteous, efficient and as fast as we'd expect. I wish I could give this five stars, but I really can't. My (ostensibly) Diet Coke was far too sweet, leading me to wonder whether their syrup mix was off-kilter. The men's room had a sticky floor, and the urinal wouldn't flush. Still, these are relatively minor quibbles, and I'd be thrilled to come back here any time I was in Easthampton. read more

Always a good meal and fair portions. The Edna Bread is the bomb but I definitely miss the kielbasa being a regular item: I enjoyed the lightness of the fish and chips today. read more

Good bar food and beers , juicy burgers, wraps and salads. Their servers are very friendly and efficient. Nice restaurant with extensive/large bar in Easthampton mostly visited by locals. We were taken there by friends and continue visiting for Saturday lunch or snack. They have a good list of beers and alcohol. Also offer daily specials at their restaurant which is quite big. I highly recommend it! read more

Went here for dinner on 2 separate occasions in the last month. Both times I have left extremely impressed. From what I could see in the front of the house, all the servers were wearing their masks and wiping down tables between customers. Our first visit was for my birthday and they were able to accommodate our table of 5 on a Friday night, even though it is walk-only, no reservations. The first dinner I had was fish and chips, which was delicious and a good portion. My brother had the pork shank, which melted off the bone, and he could not stop raving about the taste. The second visit I went for seafood again, and was just as impressed with the clam strips dinner. Very good portion and delicious! Would definitely recommend for dinner! read more

Was there on 8/7/18, ordered the fried whole belly clams that were listed as a special that day. First only got about 10 clams in the dinner for $19.95. The clams were the worse that I ever had. I order whole belly clams on a regular basis so have good comparisons. I do not know where these clams came from but there were not from the Northeast, must have been from China. Half of them had the largest bellies I have ever seen on clams. The bellies were larger than the clams I used to use for bait when I worked on fishing boats at PJ in Rhode Island. They were so gross I left them so now I was down to only five clams for $19.95. As someone stated previously it is defintely a local hang out. We got ignored and had to ask another waitress for our bill. read more

My fiancé and I live local and decided to come here for dinner for the first time. We sat at the bar which had 3 people sitting there and the rest of the restaurant didn't seem slammed by any means. Long story short, 3 women working saw us (total eye contact) and didn't acknowledge us at all. Not even to say "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Needless to say, I felt it to be very unprofessional and not at all welcoming at all. read more

SENIOR SUNDAY when I went here it was packed with SENIORS and others. Good food had fun there BUT cheese was $1 on a burger like seriously it's America you put chesee on it or don't server it at all read more

I really like it here. I was in for dinner and drinks with some friends and was greeted by Carol. She was great, attentive and so nice! I will be back again. read more

Exceptional food. Good size portions and fairly priced. The ambiance is nothing spectacular but the food makes up for it. Looking forward to going back. read more

Yesterday, we were visiting my inlaws, and decided to go to the Glendale Grille for lunch. Aside from a party in a room to the side, many of the tables were empty when we arrived. We waited for over 25 minutes, and not once did a server come to our table. We watched as two other tables who came in after us were waited on before we decided to leave. We had small children with us, and can only assume that we were purposely skipped over for this reason. We will not be visiting the restaurant again. read more

Hot darn the food is delicious. First time I'm posting from onsite because I'm that psyched. We had specials: Ahi tuna and seafood ravioli. In each case enough to take home for another meal. Salads before had homemade dressing. For the price this is a great value. Service is accomplished and charming. If I lived here this place would become my neighborhood joint. read more

Constantly really good food. We live in downtown Northampton and come here when we want really good homemade food. You have your choice of sitting in the restaurant side or the expansive bar which offers the full menu. Everything from seared rare tuna to pasta to salads and sandwiches. Added bonus on the menu is the cheesy "Edna's Garlic Bread" which is from the original Holyoke's Log Cabin's menu. So Good! read more

Not as good as it could be. It's owned by two actual, real, honest to goodness chefs but serving out of a vat crappy. Italian dressing is real well below their obvious talents. Try harder for crying out loud. Pull dinners up instead of lowering yourselves!! You can do better. read more

good inexpensive food. they don't pretend to be anything else which i appreciate. the $10 dinner specials are all very good and the portions are large so come hungry! get the edna bread and the staff were pleasant and attentive. i am not going here for the decor i'm going for the food. great neighborhood bar and restaurant. read more

Coming back around on the food, doing good guys! Keep it up. Good bartenders, Dave is awesome.

Good food - BBQ salmon and short ribs special were very tasty. Split the beet salad to start, ample for two. Service was very good. Dining room was a bit noisy but not too bad. Reasonable prices too. We will return! read more

We were on our way to our daughter's basketball game and decided to stop for dinner. The service and the food was wonderful!! Very nice pours of house wine for $5.00/glass. We will definitely be back - no question!! Mary Kate waited on us and she was so friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. read more

Really disappointed. We had garlic chicken wings which were good but greasy. I had the flat iron steak which was good however was told vegetable was broccoli and got green beans and the mashed potatoes were so peppery I couldn't eat them. Hubby got catfish jambalaya which had pieces of meat that looked like leftover steak. My son had fish and chips . Fish was very fishy and did not look like haddock and he wouldn't even eat the French fries. He did like the coleslaw. None of us finished our meal not because there was too much. We just couldn't wait to leave. All in all I won't be back. Way too expensive for a bad meal. read more

I like this place because I can walk in wearing casual business clothes or come in straight out of the horse barn. The food is what one would expect out of a neighborhood grill. Thank goodness it's not overly greasy and they really seem to have a lot of specials entrées to keep things different. Another thing I have noticed is that both the staff and patrons seem overly happy every time I come in which makes the place really enjoyable. read more

My wife & I stopped in on a Sat. Afternoon. We sat at the bar and a nice older man behind the bar waited on us. We ordered drinks and some food. I ordered a flat bread (the special) an it was so small and nothing much on it. It. Was comical. Also it then became impossible to get another drink. He was too busy and never came back We went elsewhere to get another drink read more
